Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(6):381-384
The primary gastric lymphoma and infiltrating gastric carcinoma have similar imaging performance. Therefore,it has been longely regarded as medical imaging difficulty to diagnostically differentiate between them. With the rapid development of various imaging techniques and imaging software, they have been widely used in differentiating between these two diseases. This article reviews the current status and progress of imaging studies in differentiation of primay gastric lymphoma and invasive gastric cancer.
2.Role of the Nrf2 pathway in liver diseases
International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;(5):462-464,465
Nrf2 signaling pathway is a major mechanism in the cellular defense against oxidative or electrophilic stress, which regulates series of detoxifying and antioxidant defense genes expression in the liver. The Nrf2 signaling pathway collectively exhibits diverse biological functions against viral hepatitis, alcoholic and nonalcoholic liver disease, fibrosis, and cancer via target gene expression. This review discusses the role of the Nrf2 pathway in liver pathophysiology and the potential application of Nrf2 as a therapeutic target of prevention and treatment of liver diseases.
3.Alternative splicing of gene transcription and its progress in clinical pharmacology
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Alternative splicing is strictly affected by special cell or tissue and the stage of development so that it plays a vital role in development, cell or tissue differentiation and their function, accordingly, abnormal splicing will cause the functional disorder of body, and heritable diseases. Currently, the investigation on regulation of alternative splicing and its mechanism, function of its products and how to apply it into clinical practices is one of the extremely important area of pharmacogenomics

OBJECTIVE To standardize the classification, collection and transportation of the medical wastes in our hospital. METHODS A Manual of Administrative Measures for Medical Wastes was set according to the Regulations on Medical Waste Management stipulated by State Council.Field investigation, supervision, management and adjustment had been carried out.RESULTS The medical waste was strictly collected and separated in clinical departments. The dispensable sharp wastes should be collected in a special container. We adopted medical wastes preservation management in our hospital and records should be made when the staff exchange. The mixed medical wastes have been solved. While transporting the medical wastes, closed vans should be used in order to avoid wastes left on the road. After our measures were put in place good achievement was made.CONCLUSIONS Standardized training on separation, collection, transportation, preservation and settlement of medical wastes should be carried out among medical staff at all levels. The facilities for medical wastes settlement should be improved.Investigation, supervision and adjustment in this regard should be strengthened.

Objective To investigate the effect of establishing external device quality management system in the operating room of primary hospital. Methods 100 pieces external orthopaedic surgical instrument cleaned and packaged by company personnel in 2012 were randomly selected as control group, and 100 packages of orthopaedic surgical instrument cleaned by the professional of our hospital were randomly selected and set as the observation group. The cleaning quality of the two groups were compared. Results The numbers of no blood on the surface,sur-face of the device without rust, instrument storage box no stains, cloth bag no stains in the control group were 92,91, 86,90,respectively,which in the observation group were 99,98,97,98.The cleaning quality improved obviously in the observation group, and there were statistically significant differences between the two groups (χ2 =4.19,471,7.78, 5.67,all P <0.05).Conclusion To establishment of surgical patients external device quality management system in the operating room of primary hospital, standardized management of external devices, can ensure that the management and implementation of quality control of external devices in all aspects and to ensure clinical safety.

Objective To construct and identify a recombinant Bifidobacteria(Bb) (pGEX-TSO45W-4B) vaccine of Taenia solium. Methods The TSO45W-4B gene of Taenia solium was synthesized. It was expected that the fragment length of the gene was 351 bp.The gene was cloned into Escherichia coli-Bifidobacteria(Bb) shutde vector pGEX-1λT to construct a recombinant plasmid pGEX-TSO45W-4B.The recombinant plasmid was electroporated into Bb to construct a recombinant Bb (pGEX-TSO45W-4B) vaccine. The vaccine was identified by restriction analysis,PCR and sequencing, which would demonstrate that the constructed recombinant Bb (pGEX-TSO45W-4B) vaccine of Taenia solium contained the gene of fragment length of 351 bp.Results The TSO45W-4B gene of 351 bp was synthesized.Restriction analysis,PCR and sequencing results showed that the recombinant Bb (pGEX-TSO45W-4B) vaccine of Taenia solium was successfully constructed and contained the gene fragment of 351 bp.Conclusion The recombinant Bb (pGEX-TSO45W-4B) vaccine of Taenia solium is successfully constructed, which lays a foundation for the study of expression and immunogenicity of the vaccine.

0.05).The medical expenses of the Hysteroscopic Group was significantly lower than that of the Laparoscopic Group(t=-85.584,P=0.000).Conclusions As compared with laparoscopic conservative operation, hysteroscopic tubal catheterization with MTX injection is another simple,cost-effective,and minimally invasive alternative for early tubal pregnancy.

Objective To investigate the positive rates of HBsAg and abnormal rates of Alanine aminotransferase among high school graduates in Jingjiang city. Methods HBsAg were detected by ELISA and ALT was detected by rate assay among 20 988 high school graduates during 2004—2007 in Jingjiang city. Results The HBsAg positive students were 1754.The total positive rate of HBsAg was 8.36%.The positive rate of HBsAg of male(9.46%)was higher than that of female(6.95%).The HBsAg positive rate of rural students(9.44%)was higher than that of urban students(7.28%).HBsAg positive rates of urban students showed a decreasing trend during 2004—2007,the rates were 9.31%,8.08%,6.74% and 5.24%,respectively(P0.05).There were 155 cases(8.4%)with increased ALT among 1754 HBsAg positive students. Conclusion The total positive rate of HBsAg among high school graduates in Jingjiang city from 2004—2007 was 8.36%.The HBsAg positive rate of male students was higher than that of female. The HBsAg positive rate of rural students was higher than that of urban students.8.4% students were found ALT abnormal. We should intensify Hepatitis B vaccine in time to prevent the spreading of HBV.

Objective To investigate the potential factors which have impact on the working space for surgeons in gasless laparoscopic cholecystectomy and to probe into the specifications of gasless surgeries. Methods Clinical data of 49 cases of gasless laparoscopic cholecystectomy between March 2007 and July 2010 were summarized. The impacts of body mass index, bowel preparation and means of anesthesia on operation time and conversion to laparotomy were analyzed. Results For patients with body mass index ≤25and > 25,operation times were (43.0 ± 5.4) min,and (52.8 ± 7.4 ) min, respectively, and rates of conversion to laparotomy were 0/34 and 4/15,respectively.Both indices in the first group were higher. For patients with and without bowel preparation, operation times were (44.5 ± 5.4) min and (46.1 ± 8.0)min,respectively,and rates of conversion to laparotomy were 2/26 and 2/23,respectively.For patients with epidural anesthesia and lumbar/epidural anesthesia, operation times were (46.5 ± 7.9) min and (44.1 ±6.8) min, respectively, and rates of conversion to laparotomy were 2/24 and 2/25,respectively.Conclusions The operation time of gasless laparoscopic cholecystectomy could be affected by many factors, such as body mass index.Gasless operations can be improved by evaluating the conditions of patients correctly and by selecting suitable operation methods, anesthesia means and bowel preparation.
