1.Advances in research on microRNA-21 in colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common digestive system neoplasms in China. Recently, the morbidity and mortality rates of CRC continue to increase with the improvement of people's living standard and the change of the dietary structure. It was accepted that the etiology of colorectal cancer is a multi-factor and multi-step process. However, the mechanism of CRC is still unclear. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of -21 nucleotide non-coding RNAs and function as a negative regulator of gene expression after transcription, participating in tumor angiogenesis, tumor cell proliferation and invasion. MicroRNA-21 (miR-21), as an important oncogenic RNA, plays a vital role in the development and progression of CRC. This review summarizes the advances in research on miR-21 in colorectal cancer.
2.Pure tone threshoIds and Otoacoustic Emissions in PCI Patients without Hearing Loss CompIaints

Objective To study the audiometry and otoacoustic emissions in patients with posterior circulation ischemia(PCI) .Methods Forty patients treated by neurologists were selected as the experimental group who re_ceived pure tone audiometry ,tympanometry ,otoacoustic emissions (OAE) and distortion products otoacoustic emis_sions (DPOAE) examinations .Thirty healthy objects were chosen as the control group .The data from the PCI groups and the control group were compared using the SPSS 14 .0 software .ResuIts The difference in pure tone thresholds across 125 to 8 000 Hz between the PCI group and the control group was not statistically significant (P>0 .05) .In the PCI patients ,the prevalence of TEOAE was only 47 .5% ,significantly different from that of in the control group .The prevalence of DPOAE at 0 .5~8 kHz were between 57 .9% ~77 .6% in PCI patients ,and the amplitudes of DPOAE were reduced significantly (P<0 .05) .ConcIusion Cochlear damages can occur to patients with PCI ,especially in the high frequency range .These results suggest that OAE can be used as an important diag_nostic test for patients with PCI ,and might be helpful for the location diagnosis of PCI .
3.Recent Intervention Studies Bushenhuoxue Method of Ovarian Reserve

Objective] To investigate Bushenhuoxue method to improve the effect and mechanism of ovarian reserve, providing a theoretical basis for clinical treatment. [Methods] The intervention method to retrieve recent Bushenhuoxue premature ovarian failure and decreased ovarian reserve related literature, from theoretical research, clinical research and experimental study three aspects discussed Bushenhuoxue method to improve the effect and mechanism of ovarian reserve. [Results] Invigorating kidney on improving the exact effect of ovarian reserve. [Conclusion] In recent years Bushenhuoxue method research progress in improving ovarian function, mechanism of action has a more in-depth elucidation, but further in-depth exploration and research are stil needed.
4.Expression of HIF-1alpha and VEGF in human laryngeal carcinoma and its relationship with angiogenes.

OBJECTIVE:
The aim of this study is to investigate the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha (HIF-1alpha), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in laryngeal carcinoma and its relations to clinical and pathophysiological characteristics, and determine the effect of HIF-1alpha, VEGF in the processing of angiogenesis. To offer the theoretical basis for the pathogenesis of laryngeal carcinoma and the new ideas for early diagnosis of laryngeal carcinoma.
METHOD:
The major was divided into two groups:60 specimens of laryngeal carcinoma and 20 specimens of normal tissues beside the carcinoma. The expression of HIF-1alpha, VEGF was detected in 60 specimens of laryngeal carcinoma tissues and 20 specimens of normal tissues beside the carcinoma as controls by immunohistochemical staining technique. Microvessel was stained by antifactor CD105 antibody to analyse microvessel density.
RESULT:
Positive rate of HIF-1alpha and VEGF protein expression was 71.67% (43/60) and 65.00% (39/60) respectively in laryngeal carcinoma tissues, which was significantly higher than that in normal laryngeal tissues (10.00% and 20.00%, respectively). HIF-1alpha expression was closely related to P-TNM stage, the grade of cell differentiation and lymph node status; VEGF expression was closely related to P-TNM stage and lymph node status. The coincidence rate of the expression of HIF-1alpha and VEGF was 56.67% (34/60), showing a close relation between them. MVD was much higher in tumor with HIF-1alpha(+)/VEGF(+) than that in tumor with HIF-1alpha(--)/VEGF(--) (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSION
HIF-1alpha protein and VEGF was over-expressed in laryngeal carcinoma. The positive expression of HIF-1alpha, VEGF and MVD in laryngeal carcinoma have a synergistic effect on the neovascularization of the tumor.

5.Report of 223 cases of adverse drug reaction

Objective To investigate the incidence of adverse drug reaction (ADR)in patients in a hospital,and evaluate ADR-related factors,so as to provide references for the prevention of ADR and reducing of risk factors in drug use. Methods 223 clinically reported ADR cases were collected from January 1,2011 to December 31,2011, patients'age,types and administration routes of drugs relating to ADR,and ADR-involved organs and systems were analyzed.Results Of 223 patients with ADR,211(94.62% )received intravenous drip,3 received intravenous injec-tion,2 received intramuscular inj ection,and 7 received oral administration. ADR mainly occurred within 1-30 mi-nutes after taking the medicines,39(17.49% )occurred within 1-4 minutes,45(20.18% )within 5-9 minutes,80 (35.87% )within 15-29 minutes. Of organ or system involved by ADR,skin and its appendage damages were com-mon (93 cases),followed by gastrointestinal tract (62 cases)and systemic damage (45 cases);single organ and sys-temic damage were most common (184 cases,82.51% ). 123 cases (55.16% )of ADR were caused by antimicrobial use,60 cases (26.91% )were induced by Chinese medicine injection;Of top 10 ADR-inducing medicines,7 were an-timicrobial agents and 3 were traditional Chinese medicine injections,levofloxacin lactate and sodium chloride injec-tion ranked first(23 cases,10.31% ).Conclusion The occurrence of ADR is related to multiple factors,reporting and surveillance of ADR should be strengthened,the use of antimicrobial agents and traditional Chinese medicine should be rational,thereby reduce the occurrence of ADR.
6.Distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria isolated from intensive care unit

Objective To provide reference basis for clinical ,it is necessary to analyse the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria isolated from intensive care unit .Methods The bacterial specimens from patients that treated in intensive care unit from January to December in 2013 ,had been collected and cultivated .The VITEK automatic bacterial identification system was performed to identify pathogens and drug susceptibility test .The software of Whonet5 .6 was used for statistically analysis .Results 1261strainsofpathogenicbacteriawereisolated,including900strainsofgramnegativebacilli,348strainsofgrampositivebac‐teria and 13 of fungi .Conclusion Gram negative bacillus is the main pathogenic bacteria in the critical patients .In order to improve the clinical efficacy ,clinical treatment should be based on the pathogenic bacteria culture and drug sensitivity test results to reasona‐bly apply antibacterial drugs .
7.Observation of establishing external device quality management system in operating room of primary hospital

Objective To investigate the effect of establishing external device quality management system in the operating room of primary hospital.Methods 100 pieces external orthopaedic surgical instrument cleaned and packaged by company personnel in 2012 were randomly selected as control group,and 100 packages of orthopaedic surgical instrument cleaned by the professional of our hospital were randomly selected and set as the observation group.The cleaning quality of the two groups were compared.Results The numbers of no blood on the surface,sur-face of the device without rust,instrument storage box no stains,cloth bag no stains in the control group were 92,91, 86,90,respectively,which in the observation group were 99,98,97,98.The cleaning quality improved obviously in the observation group,and there were statistically significant differences between the two groups (χ2 =4.19,471,7.78, 5.67,all P <0.05).Conclusion To establishment of surgical patients external device quality management system in the operating room of primary hospital,standardized management of external devices,can ensure that the management and implementation of quality control of external devices in all aspects and to ensure clinical safety.
8.The comparative analysis for two kinds of serum procalcitonin quantitative detection and prediction of blood culture

Objective The detection results of two methods of quantitative methods and blood culture method were compared to explore the value of quantitative detection of serum procalcitonin.Methods From February 2014 to January 2015,the clinical data of 192 patients who were tested for two quantitative detection and blood culture were collected at the same time,and the results were eligible analyzed.One of the two quantitative detection methods was the electrochemical luminescence,and the other was the up-converting phosphor method.Results Compared with the result of blood culture,the positive rate was significantly higher in electrochemical luminescence and the up-con-verting phosphor method (χ2 =70.531,43.671,all P<0.05).The positive rates of up-converting phosphor and electrochemical luminescence were 66.1% and 75.5% respectively, and the difference between two quantitative methods was also statistically significant (χ2 =5.297,P<0.05).Method of electrochemical luminescence tested on higher sensitivity.When the level of PCT was less than threshold,for method of the electrochemical luminescence,the sensitivity on the blood culture was 93.7%,the specificity was 33.3%,the positive predictive value was 40.7%,the negative predictive value was 91.5%,the area under ROC curve was 0.628.For method of up-converting phosphor, the sensitivity on the blood culture was 90.5%,the specificity was 46.5%,the positive predictive value was 45.7%, the negative predictive value was 90.7%,the area under ROC curve was 0.554.Conclusion The electrochemical luminescence detection method of serum procalcitonin was better than up -converting phosphor method and blood culture.The electrochemical luminescence method which makes rapidly qualitative and accurately quantitative detec-tion,can give early diagnosis,medication guide in a short time,and predict the prognosis of disease.
9.Correlation analysis of type A influenza virus genetic variation characteristic with survival selective pressure

Objective Study the relationship between type A influenza virus genetic variation with survival selective pressure, help for the finding of possible vaccine conserved antigen target. Methods Select seven strains of same HA (Hemagglutinin) serotype, regional and isolation time closely related type A influenza virus with full HA gene coding sequence; use Blast2 program to calculate the parameter of nucleotide conservative, amino acid conservative, mutation ratio of codon 3rd (over) non 3rd locus, survival selective pressure indicator of these virus strains; analysis the parameters relationship with survival selective pressure indicator. Results Nucleotide conservative of HA gene is significantly lower than that of other genes; amino acid conservative of HA gene is similar with NS gene, all lower than that of other genes; genetic variation of HA gene is under survival selective pressure; selective pressure toward NS, PB1 gene is relatively lower than that toward NA, NP gene; survival selective pressure indicator is strongly correlated with mutation frequency upon codon 3rd locus. Conclusions Genetic variation of influenza virus is determined both by mechanism of relax replication model and survival selective pressure; genetic conservative of each gene is different, NA, NP gene could be selected as possible vaccine target for their relative high conservative, HA gene possesses medium genetic conservative with prospective of finding more conserved epitope region within its full sequence, NS, PB1 are not recommended as vaccine candidate for their relative low genetic conservative.
10.Effects of alltride on gastric ulcer and promoting bowl movement

AIM: To study the effects of alltride on experimental gastric ulcer and promoting bowl movement.
