Objective To investigate the expression of serum amyloid A (SAA) in patients adipose tissue with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and the correlations between SAA and insulin resistance (IR) and body mass index (BMI).Methods A total of 60 single full-term pregnant women underwent cesarean section from June 2013 to December 2013 was enrolled in this study (GDM group,n =30;control group,n =30);serum SAA level was detected with Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA);and mRNA expression of SAA1 in adipose tissue was determined by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR);SPSS software was used to compare these markers, and the correlations between SAA and HOMA-IR,BMI were analyzed with Pearson correlation method. Results SAA,mRNA expressions in omental and subcutaneous fat in GDM group (0.447 ± 0.069,0.291 ± 0.067) were significantly higher than those in control group (0.194 ± 0.070,0.231 ± 0.068,P < 0.01).Serum SAA levels [(21.038 ± 6.648) mg/L] and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR) (4.168± 2.416) in GDM group were significantly higher than those in control group [(14.384 ± 12.770) mg/L,2.045 ± 1.008,P < 0.05];SAA1 mRNA expression levels in omental and subcutaneous fat were positively correlated with serum SAA (r =0.353,0.342,P < 0.01).SAA1 mRNA expression levels in omental were positively correlated to pregestational BMI,late gestational BMI,weight gain in pregnancy and HOMA-IR (r =0.543,0.644,0.340,0.473,P < 0.01),and SAA1 mRNA expression levels in subcutaneous fat were positively correlated to pregestational BMI,late gestational BMI,and HOMA-IR (r =0.788,0.693,0.504,P < 0.01),but was no correlation with weight gain in pregnancy(r =0.013,P > 0.05).Conclusions SAA mRNA expressions in omental and subcutaneous fat in GDM group and serum SAA levels increase, which is positively correlated with BMI and the degree of insulin resistance,SAA may participate in the formation of GDM by increasing insulin resistance.SAA may be used as a new monitor of GDM.

Objective:
To learn the status and influencing factors of development among infants at ages of 0 to 36 months in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, so as to provide the reference for promoting healthy development of infants.
Methods:
Infants at ages of 0-36 months who underwent physical examination in Child Health Clinic of Xiaoshan District Community Health Service Center were selected in 2022. General data of infants and their mothers were collected through questionnaires, and the development status of infants was screened by Age and Stages Questionnaire (third edition). Factors affecting the development status were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
A total of 2 519 infants were investigated, including 1 339 males (53.16%) and 1 180 females (46.84%). There were 608 infants with abnormal development of at least one functional area of communication (CM), gross motor (GM), fine motor (FM), problems solving (CG) and personal-social (PS). The abnormal rate was 24.14%, and the abnormal rates of the above functional areas were 9.77%, 6.59%, 7.98%, 6.39% and 9.33%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that gender (male, OR=1.563, 95%CI: 1.191-2.052), mother's childbearing age (≥35 years, OR=1.411, 95%CI: 1.001-1.988), mother's educational level (lower than junior college, OR=1.460, 95%CI: 1.116-1.912) were factors affecting abnormal development of CM; preterm birth (OR=2.323, 95%CI: 1.315-4.103) was factors affecting abnormal development of GM; gender (male, OR=1.654, 95%CI: 1.225-2.232) was factors affecting abnormal development of FM; gender (male, OR=1.511, 95%CI: 1.086-2.102) and mode of delivery (cesarean section, OR=1.460, 95%CI: 1.060-2.010) were factors affecting abnormal development of CG; gender (male, OR=1.340, 95%CI: 1.019-1.763) and birth weight (low birth weight, OR=1.985, 95%CI: 1.149-3.432) were factors affecting abnormal development of PS.
Conclusions
The rate of abnormal development among infants at ages of 0 to 36 months in Xiaoshan District is 24.14%. Gender, preterm birth, mode of delivery, birth weight, mother's childbearing age and mother's educational level could affect the development status of infants.

Objective:To investigate the self-defect sensation and its influencing factors in patients scheduled for photodynamic therapy for port wine stains. Methods:A total of 183 patients scheduled for photodynamic therapy for port wine stains in our hospital were selected and investigated by online questionnaire. The data of the respondents were collected by means of online filling in the questionnaire star using the General Data Survey Scale and the Defect Perception Scale (FIS) at admission. Results:The total score of self-defect in 183 patients with bright red nevus treated by photodynamic therapy was higher than that of the domestic norm. Age ( t=4.19), place of residence ( F=14.90), co-resident ( F=3.21), education level ( F=4.39), marital status ( F=2.47), income level ( F=9.51) and occupation ( F=5.82) had significantly related with the level of self-deficiency of patients ( P<0.05). The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that residence and income level were the main factors affecting patients′ sense of self-deficiency ( F=4.96, P<0.05). Conclusions:The overall self-defect sense of 183 patients with port wine stains treated with photodynamic therapy in this survey is more serious, their own comprehensive conditions and family structure will affect the self-defect sense of patients with port wine stains. We should pay special attention to the mental health of patients from municipal cities and low-income levels, timely carry out clinical nursing education and psychological guidance, jointly improve the compliance and cooperation of patients with treatment, and promote the rapid recovery of patients.

Chest compressions are a key component of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The determination of the optimal compression point (OCP) in adult CPR is an indispensable critical factor for high quality chest compressions (CCs). At present, the OCP for adult CPR is still controversial, which still needs further research and discussion. To provide theoretical reference for determining the OCP, this paper reviews the research progress of the OCP of adult CPR from the development process of compression point and hemodynamic mechanism, so as to improve the quality of CCs and the outcome of cardiac arrest (CA) patients.
