Objective To observe and compare the blood lipid level in patients with colorectal polyps.Methods One hundred and twenty patients with colorectal polyps adminated in Shuangshan Hospital of Anshan from January 2011 to January 2014 were selected as observations and 120 healthy check-ups were selected as control group.The levels of serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) of two groups were detected.Based on the pathological type and position of colorectal polyps and patients' gender, the blood lipid levels of sub-groups were compared.Results For observation group,there were single polyps in 81 cases ,multiple polyps in 39 cases and total colorectal polyps in 7 cases.There were 53 cases (44.17％) of hyperlipidemia (HLP).The levels of TC, TG and LDL-C of observation group were (5.26±0.97) mmol/L, (1.55±0.59) mmol/L, (2.88±0.67) mmol/L, significantly higher than those of control group ((4.51±1.02) mmol/L, (1.05±0.57) mmol/L, (2.43±0.39) mmol/L;t =4.08,4.27, 3.87, P＜0.05).the incidence of HLP based on the different pathological types were not significantly changed (P ＞ 0.05).The blood lipid levels based on the different pathological types were not significantly changed(P＞0.05).According to analysis results of adenomatous polyp, the incidence of tubular and villous adenoma HLP was significantly higher than that of tubular and villous adenoma(x2 =4.51, P＜0.05), while there was no significant difference in term of the blood lipid levels between the two groups(P＞0.05).The specific blood lipid levels were different (95％ CI 1.695-5.276, 1.823-3.517, 1.634-4.186;P ＜0.05).Conclusion TC and TG increase in patients with colorectal polyps.The clinical diagnosis and treatment shall focus on the detection of blood lipid levels.

Dietary intake and biochemical parameters of zinc nutritional status in 270 pregnant women and 44 nonpregnant women have been studied and the results were as follows: 1.Dietary zinc intake was about 60% of RDA in both groups.2.The mean plasma Zn concentration declined progressively during gestation; the mean SOD activities and plasma Cu/Zn and alkaline phosphatase activities increased progressively.3.The zinc nutritional status of pregnant women in Beijing was poor. Using plasma Zn concentration less than 10.71 ?mol/l as a low limit, the incidence of zinc deficiency was 6.5%, 20.2% and 25.7% at each of three trimesters respectively.4.Plasma Zn concentration is more sensitive in evalution of nutritional status than hair Zn concentration. Plasma Cu/Zn could reflect zinc nutritional status. The mean SOD activities had similar trend with plasma Zn during pregnancy, and positive correlation with plasma Zn in second trimester (r= 0.2236,P

Objective To search for the CT and MRI morphological changes in the child patients with cerebral palsy. Method The CT scranning and MRI were carried out in 150 child patients with cerebral palsy, andthe results were analysed. Results In 150 cases, 97 cases (54.6 per cent) have abnormal findings of CT scranning. Diffuse ence-phalatrophy (42 cases), encephalomalacia focus (24 cases) porencephaly (9 cases), and localized ence-phalatrophy (7 cases) ect are the common CT morphological changes in the patients with cerebral palsy.In the 53 patients with normal findings of CT scranning, MRI was carried out for 30 cases and 25 cases(83.3 per cent) were abnormal. The delayed myelinogeny of white matter of brain is the main MRI mor-phalogical abnormality. Conclusion CT scranning and MRI have important value on the etiological diagnosis for child patientswith cerebral palsy. The combination of them can improve the diagnostic accordance rate.

OBJECTIVE:To study the general pattern and characteristics of electrocardiographic abnormality induced by antipsychotic drugs.METHODS:By retrieving China Periodical full-text data base,a total of 5 298 electrocardiographic abnormality cases induced by 9 kinds of antipsychotic drugs reported in 99 papers in domestic medical journals between Jan.1994 to Dec.2008 were collected for a statistical analysis.RESULTS:The antipsychotic drugs that induced electrocardiographic abnormality included clozapine,chlorpromazine,sulpiride,risperidone,haloperidol,quetiapine,perphenazine,ziprasidone and aripiprazole,of which,clozapine showed the highest incidence of electrocardiographic abnormality.The electrocardiographic abnormality manifested as sinus tachycardia,sinus bradycardia,heart block,T-wave changes and S-T segment change etc,with sinus tachycardia showing the highest incidence.The electrocardiographic abnormality was also correlated with patients' sex,age,drug-taking behavior and dosage etc.CONCLUSION:Clinicians should be alert to the electrocardiographic abnormality induced by antipsychotic drugs bypaying close attention to patients' condition and attaching importance to the electrocardiographic monitoring during medication to ensure medication safety.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the utilization status of the second category of psychotropic drug in our hospital.METHODS: By a retrospective method,the utilization of the second category of psychotropic drug in our hospital was analyzed statistically.RESULTS: The second category of psychotropic drugs used in our hospital totaled 11 kinds(two dosage forms).Leading the first 5 places on the list of DDDs were Clonazepam tablets,Zolpidem tablets,Lorazepam tablets,Alprazolam tablets and Estazolam tablets.Leading the first 5 places on the list of consumption sum were Zolpidem tablets,Lorazepam tablets,Clonazepam tablets,Midazolam injections and Alprazolam tablets.CONCLUSION: The clinical utilization of second category of psychotropic drugs in our hospital was basically reasonable;however,some drugs were abused.

Objective To evaluate the characteristics of two angiographic manifestation of ocular fundus in choroidal metastatic carcinomas. Methods Fundus fluoresein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) were performed on 17 patients (24 eyes) with choroidal metastatic carcinomas, and the characteristics of these two kinds of angiograms were analyzed and compared each other. Results According to various clinical features, e.g., locations of metastatic tumor in ocular fundus, disease course, and different kinds of original malignancy, the findings of ocular fundus were divided into (1) Isolation type: FFA showed pinpoint and mottled leaks against hypofluorescence background, increased and confluent fluoresecence in later stage. ICGA showed the similar images as in FFA, except later appearance of leaks and the choroidal vesseles could be seen beneath the thin metastatic tumor mass.(2) Diffusion type: Tumors showed hypofluorescence in early stage and uneven ill defined hyperfluorescence both in FFA and in ICGA. (3) Small metastatic carcinomas: Hypofluorescence in early stage and mild mottled hyperfluorescence were found in FFA as well as in ICGA. Conclusion Both FFA and ICGA are helpful in the diagnosis of choroidal metastatic tumors and ICGA may be conducive if there are some troubles in diagnosing the tumors with FFA.

Objective By compared FAB classification of myelodysplastic syndrome with WHO classification of myelodysplastic syndrome,understanded the proposed WHO new classification of myelodysplastic syndrome as soon as possible.Methods Retraced and analysed 78 cases of myelodysplastic syndrome based on examination of the bone marrow.Restults(1)According to the FAB classification,divided myelodysplastic syndrome into 5 kinds:RA,RARS,RAEB,CMML,RAEB-T.(2)According to the WHO classification,its subtypes were adjusted again,and its concluded:RA,RARS,RCMD,RAEB-Ⅰ,RAEB-Ⅱ,5q-del.(3)There were 9 cases possess chromosome to revise particularly in the chromosome check 28 cases myelodysplastic syndrome. Conclusion WHO classification has clinical guiding significance for early diagnosis,therapy observation and prognosis decision.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the correlation between drinking behavior and polymorphism combination of extracellular superoxide dismutase (EC-SOD) and aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) genes and oral squamous cell carcinoma.

METHODSThe genetic polymorphisms of EC-SOD and ALDH2 were analyzed by polymorphism-polymerase chain reaction technique in peripheral blood leukocytes of 750 oral squamous cell carcinoma cases and 750 non-cancer controls.

RESULTSThe frequencies of EC-SOD (C/G) and ALDH2 variant genotypes were 38.27% and 69.47% in oral squamous cell carcinoma cases and 21.07% and 44.40% in healthy controls, respectively. Statistical tests showed significant difference in the frequencies between the two groups (P < 0.01). The risk of oral squamous cell carcinoma with EC-SOD (C/G) was significantly higher than that of controls (OR = 2.32). Individuals carrying ALDH2 variant genotypes had high risk of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OR = 2.85). Combined analysis of the polymorphisms showed that percentages of EC-SOD (C/G)/ALDH2 variant genotypes in oral squamous cell carcinoma and control groups were 30.67% and 6.80%, respectively (P < 0.01). Individuals carrying EC-SOD (C/G)/ALDH2 variant genotypes had high risk of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OR = 8.13). The drinking rate of the case group was significantly higher than that in the control group (OR = 2.70). Statistical analysis suggested an interaction between drinking and EC-SOD (C/G) and ALDH2 variant genotypes, which increase risk of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OR = 25.00).

CONCLUSIONEC-SOD (C/G) and ALDH2 variant genotypes and drinking are the risk factors in oral squamous cell carcinoma, which could carry out a coordinated attack of oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Objective:To analyze the impact of NBP on the expression of HSP 70 and TLR4 in the rat with ischemia-reperfusion.Methods:The 144 rats were divided into 3 groups,Sham group,IR group and NBP group.The 3 groups were divided into 4 groups again according to the time of reperfusion (6h,12h,24h and 48h).The intraluminal ischemia-reperfusion model was made by improved Longa.When the model was made successfully ,the rat in NBP group was gave oral NBP immediately while the IR and Sham group was gave oral NS.The neurological deficit scores , number of apoptotic cells , expression of HSP70 and TLR4 were compared during the 3 groups.Results:The neurological function ,apoptosis,the expression of HSP70 and TLR4 in NBP group at any reperfusion time were statistical lower than in IR group.In all the infusion periods,apoptotic cells in IR and NBP group were significantly higher than that in the Sham group.In all the infusion periods ,the positive cells in IR and NBP group were significantly lower than that in the Sham group.Conclusion:NBP can protect the function of neuron by improving the inhibition of HSP 70 and TLR4.
