Objective To research the trichomonacidal effect of secnidazole benzoate in vitro.Methods Trichomonas vaginalis was cultured in liver extract medium in 96-well microplate.The culture suspension of Trichomonas vaginalis was divided into four groups:secnidazole benzoate, secnidazole, metronidazole and control, with medium as blank control.MTT colorimetric assay was applied to determine the inhibitory effect of secnidazole benzoate on the proliferation of Trichomonas vaginalis.The culture suspension was transfered into test tubes and divided into same groups to observe inhibitory effect by the classical microscopic counting method.Results After 24 h incubation, the proliferation of the parasites was concentration-dependent by secnidazole benzoate(t=9.02, P

Objective:To explore whether different phospholipid peptides could induce different pathological features of EAE in Lewis rats.Methods:Lewis rats were immunized with myelin basic protein 82-99 (MBP82-99),MBP68-86,and myelin oligodendroglia glycoprotein 35-55 (MOG35-55),respectively,and evaluated everyday for neurological scores.The cerebrum,brain stem,cerebellum and spinal cord of every rat were removed and pathological features observed.Results: Rats immunized with the two MBP peptides exhibited neurological signs of EAE wherein the central nervous system had extensive inflammation infiltration.The number of infiltrates in spinal cords in the two MBP peptides groups was higher than that in the cerebrums,brain stems and cerebellums.In spinal cords, there was no statistical difference of infiltrates between MBP82-99 and MBP68-86 groups;however,the both groups had more infiltrates than MOG35-55 group.Inflammatory cells were observed only in spinal cords of animals immunized with MOG35-55.Conclusion:This study provides certain evidence for understanding the diversity of pathological manifestations of EAE in Lewis rats.

Objective To explore the optimal time and sequence for getting the best magnetic resonance (MR) imaging when MR image of synovium macrophages was used for the diagnosis of collageninduced arthritis (CIA) in a rat model,and whether it can be used to monitor the efficacy of drug treatment.Methods CIA was induced by subcutaneous injection of chicken type Ⅱ collagen and complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA).Arthritis rats were randomly divided into the model group,the leflunomide group and the control group.Knees of the model group rats were imaged before and 24 h,48 h,72 h after USPIO intravenous administration (300 μmol Fe/kg) on day 28,29,30,31,respectively.From day 28,the leflunomide group was given a gauge of drug at a dose of 8 mg/kg.Then they were imaged before and 24 hours after USPIO administration on day 42,43 respectively.MR sequences included SE T1WI,SE T2WI,GRE T2 * WI.After the completion of MR imaging,rats were sacrificed to obtain histopathologic samples of synovial membrane.LSD-t test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used for statistical analysis.Results No distinct signal enhancements were observed on the 24 h,48 h,72 h post-contrast enhancement on T1WI.On T2WI,signal intensity ratio of synovium (SNR) pre-contrast and 24 h,48 h post-contrast were 24.13±1.96,17.09± 1.23,19.14±0.91,respectively.On T2 * WI,SNR pre-contrast and 24 h,48 h post-contrast were 22.28±0.92,11.40±0.53,17.18±0.63,respectively.Distinct signal changes were observed on 24 h,48 h post-contrast on T2WI and T2 * WI (P＜0.05).The changes between SNR at 24 h,48 h,72 h post-contrast and pre-contrast were-29.09±2.42,-20.83±2.90,-6.2±2.9 respectively on T2WI,which were-48.4±1.3,-22.9±0.8,-8.2±1.6 respectively on T2 * WI.Changes were more obvious at 24 h post-contrast than 48 h post-contrast on both T2WI and T2 * WI (P＜0.05).The quantitative analyses were coinci-dent with the visual differences in signal changes between pre-contrast and post-contrast images.Difference between △SNR of leflunomide group and the control group on T1WI was not significant,while that on T2WI and T2 * WI were significantly different (P＜ 0.01).Histological examination confirmed the uptake of iron in the macrophages of arthritic knees.Signal intensity changed more on GRE T2 * WI than SE T2WI in all arthritis rats.Conclusion GRE T2 * WI is more sensitive for the diagnose of rat CIA,and 24 h post-contrast is better than 48 h and 72h post-contrast to get better images.We successfully observed the effects of leflunomide through signal changes of synovium,and the technique maybe contribute to diagnosis and therapeutic monito-ring of rheumatoid arthritis.

X TM,④Turbine+whole acid corrosion+Esthet.X TM respectively with 12 samples in each group. Then resin adhesive was applied.Microtensile testing was used to examine the microtensile bond strength. Anesthesia plays an essential role in clinical operations. Guiding anesthesia by EEG signals is one of the most promising methods at present and it has obtained good results. The analysis and process of the EEG signals in anesthesia can provide clean signal for further research. This paper used variance threshold method to remove the mutation fast and large interfering signals; and used notch filter to remove frequency interference, smoothing filter to remove baseline drift and Butterworth low-pass filter to remove high frequency noise at the same time. In addition to this, the translation invariant wavelet method to remove interference noise on the signals which was after the classical filter and retained non-stationary characteristics was used to evaluate parameter calculation. By comparing the calculated parameters from treated signal using this paper's methods and untreated signal and standard signal, the standard deviation and correlation has been improved, particularly the major parameters BetaR, which provides better signal for integration of multi-parameter to evaluate depth of anesthesia index for the latter.

The clinical trials of gossypol at the dosage of 15 mg and 22.5 mg per day were carried out in the city and the rural area respectively. The results of cytological, cytochemical as well as ultrastructural studies of the semen obtained before and during gossypol administration were as follows:1. It was shown that a decrease in sperm count and the occurrence of abnormal sperm in semen was detectable 4 weeks after gossypol administration. By the 8th week the sperm count being reduced markedly in semen, while exfoliated spermatogenic cells (including mainly spermatids and spermatocytes) increased concomitantly, the date indicated that the site of gossypol action was at the spermiogenic spermatids as well as the mid-and late stage spermatocytes.2. Decrease in the activity of SDH in the middle piece of the sperm and damage to the spiral mitochondrial sheath including derangement, vacuolation, and loss of mitochndrial cristae were observed following gossypol treatment. Such changes suggested that gossypol might suppress the energy matoblism of sperm. The effect of gosspol on the PLE of acrosome system appeared to be secondary.3. The ultrastructural changes of sperm nuclear chrmatin after gosspol treament suggested the possibility that gosspol might exert effect on the matoblism of the nuclic acid.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of rhein lysinate (RHL)on the liver of the models with diabetic rats,and to provide basis for research on treatment of fatty liver in the patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods The models of diabetic rats were established by intraperitoneally injecting streptozotocin(STZ).40 rats were divided into control,model,25 mg·kg-1 RHL,and 50 mg·kg-1 RHL groups(n=10).The levels of malonaldehyde (MDA)and the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD)and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were detected by thiobarbituric acid method, pyrogallol autoxidation method, and NADPH coupling method, respectively.The pathological changes of liver tissue were observed by hematoxylin and eosin (HE)staining;the content of fat in liver tissue was observed by Nile red staining;the expression levels of fat synthesis-related proteins were detected by Western blotting method.Results Compared with control group,the body weight of the rats in model group was decreased and the levels of blood glucose,total cholesterol(TC)and triglyceride(TG)were increased (P<0.05);the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in liver tissue were decreased (P<0.05);there were a plenty of fat vacuoles and fat accumulation in liver tissue. The signal pathway of fat synthesis-related ERK1/2-SREBP-1c was activated in model group;compared with model group,it was inhibited in 25 and 50 mg· kg-1 RHL groups (P<0.05).Compared with model group,the blood glucose,TC and TG of the rats in 25 and 50 mg ·kg-1 RHL groups were decreased (P<0.05);the activities of SOD and GSH-Px were increased (P<0.05);however the body weight had no change. Compared with model group, the fatty vacuoles and the fatty accumulation of liver tissue in 25 and 50 mg·kg-1 RHL groups were decreased. Conclusion The hepatic protection of RHL is correlated with the inhibition of oxidative stress, fat degeneration and fatty accumulation of liver tissues.

Objective To prospectively evaluate the ability of 7.0 T magnetic resonance (MR) imaging enhanced with ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO) particles in detecting synovial macrophages in a rat model of collagen-induced arthritis (CIA).Methods CIA was induced by subcutaneous injection of chicken type Ⅱ collagen.Arthritis rats were randomly divided into early,middle and late model group.Other rats served as controls.Knees of rats were imaged by a 7.0 T MR imager before and 24 hours after USPIO intravenous administration (200 μ.mol Fe/kg) on Day 14,28,42,respectively.The MR imaging protocol included T1-weighted (T1W) spin-echo (SE) sequences,T2-weighted (T2W) SE sequences,T2 * W gradientecho (GRE) sequences.After the completion of MR imaging,rats were sacrificed to obtain histopathologic samples of synovial membrane and staining.LSD-t test and one-way ANOVA were used for statistical analysis.Results Knees of arthritis rats in early,middle and late model groups developed synovial thickening and joint effusion on images from all sequences,whereas not developed in the control group.On USPIO-enhanced images,synovial tissue of arthritis knees showed slight to distinct signal intensity loss on post contrast T2WI and T2WI.However,no signal intensity enhancement of inflamed synovium was observed on postcontrast T1WI.Meanwhile,no control knees developed any visually detectable changes between pre-and postcontrast images.The quantitative analyses were coincident with the visual differences in signal changes between preand postcontrast images.Histologic examination confirmed uptake of iron in the macrophages of arthritic knees.Conclusion USPIO enhanced 7.0 T MR imaging can detect synovial macrophages in different period of CIA,which may be an additional tool for early and accurate diagnosis of RA.

Purpose To investigate the adverse reactions and management in the process of transvaginal real-time three-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (3D-HyCoSy).Materials and Methods A total of 976 patients with infertility accepting 3D-HyCoSy in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,from December 2014 to August 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.The pain degree was evaluated using visual analog scale (VAS).Adverse reactions,including contrast countercurrent,vomiting,syncope and allergies,were recorded.The relationship between adverse reactions and ultrasound imaging signs was explored.Results There were 66 cases (6.76％) of VAS grade 0,346 cases of mild pain (35.45％),374 cases of moderate pain (38.32％) and 190 cases (19.47％) of severe pain.With the increase in the degree of tubal obstruction,the degree of pain gradually increased.Pain was the most common adverse reaction among patients,followed by vomiting (15 cases,1.54％),syncope (1 case,0.10％),and allergies (1 case,0.10％).The incidence of contrast countercurrent was 12.30％ (120 cases).The adverse reaction incidence of patients with abnormal ultrasound imaging signs was significantly higher than that of patients with normal signs (x2=29.02,P＜0.01).Conclusion With the extensive use of 3D-HyCoSy examination,its clinical application value has attracted a lot of attention,meanwhile,the understanding of its safety and related adverse reactions should also be improved.The state of patients should be closely observed before,during and after 3D-HyCoSy.Medical personnel should watch out for syncope and allergic reactions,and prepare for emergency management.

Objective: To investigate the antimicrobial resistance in and multilocus sequence typing (MLST) of Campylobacter jejuni in meat and meat products in Liaoning Province, so as to provide insights into the management of C. jejuni infection. Methods: Nine C. jejuni isolates from meat and meat products in 2020 were subjected to whole genome sequencing, and the minimum inhibitory concentration was measured with the agar dilution method. MLST of C. jejuni isolates was performed with the microbial resistance mechanism traceability reference database and analysis system. Results: Six drug-resistant C. jejuni isolates were detected, and there were four multidrug-resistant isolates. There were six C. jejuni isolates resistant to tetracycline, five isolates resistant to nalidixic acid, four isolates resistant to ciprofloxacin, two isolates resistant to florfenicol, one isolate resistant to gentamicin and one isolate resistant to streptomycin. Nine C. jejuni isolates showed sensitive to azithromycin, chloramphenicol and clindamycin. MLST identified six ST types in nine C. jejuni isolates, with ST45 and ST2274 as the predominant type, and detected one isolate with unclassified ST type. Phylogenetic analysis showed that KW028 and KW029 of ST45 type were closely related and had high homology, and KW040 and KW042 of ST2274 type were closely related with high homology, while KW007 of ST6701 type was closely related to KW040 and KW042 of ST2274 type, with only one pgm housekeeper gene in difference. Conclusions High resistance to tetracycline, nalidixic acid and ciprofloxacin was detected in nine C. jejuni isolates from meat and meat products, and ST45 and ST2274 were predominant ST types of C. jejuni.
