OBJECTIVE: To study protective effect of serum containing Shangjining (SJN) capsules on myocardial cell damage induced by adriamycin (ADR).METHODS:Primary culture of myocardial cell in neonatal SD rat was conducted and ADR-inducing myocardial cell damage model were established.Biochemical index of supernatant fluid were detected and flow cytometry was used to determine the apoptosis of myocardial cell.RESULTS: ADR increased the content of supernatant fluid LDH and MDA while decreased the activity of SOD.High,middle and low dose of SJN capsule can decreased the activity of LDH and the content of MDA and increased the activity of SOD.Results of flow cytometry showed SJN could reduce cell apoptosis.CONCLUSION: SJN capsule could inhibit ADR-inducing peroxidation of myocardial cell free radical and cell apoptosis and protect myocardial cell damage.

Objective To investigate the curative efficacy of buyang huanwu decoction in combination with cyclophosphamide in treating patients with Takayasu arteritis(TA)at active stage and its improvement on vascular endothelial injury.Methods 88 patients with TA at active stage who received therapy in The Hospital of Beijing Armed Police Corps from January 2015 to April 2016 were selected as research objects.According to therapeutic schemes,those patients were divided into the control group(n=42)and the observation group(n=46).The control group was given cyclophosphamide,while the observation group was given cyclophosphamide in combination with buyang huanwu decoction.Then,the total therapeutic efficacy ratio,laboratory-related indices and indices of vascular endothelial injury were compared between the two groups.During the treatment,incidence of adverse reactions were compared.Results The observation group had a total therapeutic efficacy ratio of 89.1％,which was statistically higher than that of 71.4％in the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment,in comparison with the control group,laboratory-related indices of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C reactive protein(CRP)and vascular endothelial injury indices of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),endothelin-1(ET-1)in the observation group were statistically lower(all P<0.05).During the treatment,the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 26.1％,which was statistically same with that of 21.4％in the control group.Conclusion Cyclophosphamide in combination with buyang huanwu decoction is effective for patients with TA at active stage with a high total therapeutic efficacy ratio.And it can significantly improve laboratory-related indices and vascular endothelial injury without increasing incidence of adverse reactions.

AIM: To investigate cl in ical usage of drugs for respiratory system diseases. METHODS: Th e in-hospital records from November 2001 to February 2002 were investigated in a hospital. The usage and utilization of the drugs were analyzed with DDDs. Drug interactions were evaluated with a software (Reasonable Medication System). RESULTS: The frequency of use of antimicrobial accounted for 35% in total. The other two kinds were anti-asthma drugs and the removing fever of re ady-made traditional Chinese medicine. Some unreasonable interactions were foun d in this investigation. CONCLUSION: In the hospital, the usage of drugs for respiratory system diseases is rational on the whole, but drugs int eraction should not been neglected.

Objective: To prepare the processing solution of realgar by bacteria and to explore the change of pharmacodynamic action and toxicity. Methods: The processing solutions of realgar were prepared using the strain thiobacillus ferroxidans, the realgar powder processed by normal method was selected as control. The effects on RPMI8226 cell proliferation of them were investigated by methyl thiazolyl terazolium (MTT),cell cycle distribution was determined by FCM in RPMI8226 cell. The distribution of arsenic concentration in blood and tissues including heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidney in the samples were determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma-atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES). Results: Compared with control group, the solubility rate and the induced apoptotic rate increased, and dosage significantly reduced, while arsenic was hardly found in the tissue in processing group by bacteria. Conclusions: The processing group by bacteria may be enhanced medicinal efficacy and inhibited the toxicity in realgar. It’s intending to provide new approaches for scientific processing realgar.

ObjectiveTo use the rapid screening of low vision and cataract of Zhangjiakou agricultural region by free pupil hole bottom digital camera,to approach cataract needed operation and rural cataract of Zhangjiakou by free pupil hole bottom digital camera.MethodsTo screening of low vision and cataract of above 55 years the crowd of Zhangjiakou 10 suburban county.ResultsThe actual screening 438000 persons,lower visual acuity 41787persons,total number of screening 9.5％,binocular parallax 22305 persons,total number of screening 5.09％,All of the low number of total vision 64092 persons( 14.6％ ).The screening was also found,cataract 12439 persons,total number of screening 2.74％,cataract needed operation 4623 persons,total number of screening 1.06％.ConclusionUsing non-mydriatic fundus digital camera Zhangjiakou agricultural regions of low visual acuity and cataract rapid screening was feasible,Zhangjiakou agricultural area cataract prevention should focus on Zhangbei,Hong Bao,Shangyi County in a remote mountainous area,Zhangjiakou agricultural areas to establish an information sharing,efficient operation of multiple departments linkage mechanism.

The paper is to report the preparation of realgar bioleaching solution (RBS) by bacteria and the comparison of pharmacokinetics of RBS and H3AsO3 (ATO), and the study of its possible change of absorption and distribution of soluble arsenic in rat. The experiment was carried out on Wistar rats given peritoneal injection of RBS at a dose of 0.3 mg x kg(-1) (soluble arsenic content, 0.3 mg x kg(-1)), and rats given ATO at the dose of 0.3 mg x kg(-1) (soluble arsenic content, 0.3 mg x kg(-1)). The arsenic concentrations in many tissues including heart, liver, spleen, lung, renal and brain were determined. The changes of pharmacokinetic parameters and arsenic distribution in different tissues were detected and compared in these two groups of rats. The pharmacokinetic parameters of RBS and ATO are very similar. There is very few distribution of arsenic in the tissues in RBS group, compared with the ATO group. There is significant difference in the content of arsenic between two groups statistically (P < 0.01). It is feasible that we select the bacteria bioleaching solution as a candidate drug, which may be employed for primary change of arsenic compounds including dissolved inorganic arsenic and organic arsenic, in order to improve bioavailability and decrease the amount of arsenic accumulation in animal tissues. In addition, there is significant difference in the change of arsenic compounds between two groups. It can be concluded that, the investigation on application of microbial technology may provide a basis for exploratory research of realgar.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of abdominal acupuncture plus pricking bloodletting in treating diabetes-associated herpes zoster. Methods One hundred diabetes patients were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 50 cases each. Both groups took oral hypoglycemics and acyclovir. In addition, the treatment group received abdominal acupuncture plus pricking bloodletting and control group, electroacupuncture plus local surround needling. The time for blister disappearance, the time for pain relief and the time for scabbing were observed in the two groups before and after treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Results The total efficacy rate was 92.0%in the treatment group and 86.0%in the control group;there were statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in the time for blister disappearance, the time for pain relief and the time for scabbing between the two groups (P<0.01, P<0.05). Conclusion Abdominal acupuncture plus pricking bloodletting is an effective way to treat diabetes-associated herpes zoster.

The presence of pre-S2 protein in the kidney was investigated in 30 patients with biopsy-proved glomerulonephritis (GN) using indirect immunoperoxidase technique and monoclonal antibody. HBsAg and HBeAg in the kidney were detected using the same techniques and HBsAg, HBeAg, anti-HBs, anti-HBe and anti-HBc in serum were assayed at the same time.It was shown that pre-S2 prtein was present in the kidney in 7/22 patients with primary GN and 6/8 with lupus nephritis. It was deposited along the glomerular capillary walls or within the mes-angium, depending on the type of GN as well as the deposition of immunoglobulins and complement components in the kidney. Deposition of pre-S2 protein in renal tissue was correlated with HBsAg deposition in the glomeruli, but not HBeAg deposition. In membranous GN, there was a good correlation between the presence of pre-S2 protein in the kidney and virus antigetiemia. It is concluded that pre-S2 protein detection in the kidney is of value in evaluating the hepatitis B virus associated GN.

BACKGROUND: What deserves exploration is the relationship between menstrual cycle phase and athletic ability of female athletes, especially the mechanism of athletic performance influenced by different menstrual cycle phases.OBJECTIVE: To compare the hormone level of different menstrual cycle phases and the changes of athletic performance as well as its effect on athletic performance.DESIGN: Single sample and single factor analysis.SETTING: Zhejiang Insftute of Sport Science; College of Education,Zhejiang University; Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital.PARTICIPANTS: Specially designed menses card were distributed to all the female athletes in the gig team and track & field team in Zhejiang Province in 2000. Consecutive 3-month recording was made to investigate the status of menstrual cycle phases of female athletes. Twenty-five athletes with regular menses were chosen as subjects, among whom 12 were specialized in gig racing with the average age of 19 years and 13 were specialized in track & field events with the average age of 18 years. They all had more than 3-year training experience, 6 days a week and 4-6 hours a day. They were healthy, had regular menstrual cycle, and had not taken any drug which influences the menstrual cycle.METHODS: Blood samples of the testees were collected at hour 8-9 AM at follicular phase (days 6-10) and luteal phase (days 19-23). Full-automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay equipment was used to measure the level of estradiol (E2), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone, and testosterone in serum. coefficient of variability in batch of reagent was ＜5%. Testees accomplished test of their athletic performance and the test of lactic acid 1 to 2 days after blood sample collection. Gig athletes performed 2000 m and 500 m full-strength pull with Concett Ⅱ boating ergometer while track & field athletes performed 100 m and 200 m full-speed running; the time needed was recorded. Gig athletes conducted 2000 m movements on the ergometer with the frequency of 26 times per minute. Track & field athletes carried out three times of 300-meter running with 90% of intensity with 3-minute intervals. Immediately after movements, the lactic acid value was measured following blood collection.Paired t test of the small sample study was used for significance detection.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The level of E2, FSH, LH, proges-terone and blood lactic acid in serum; 2000 m and 500 m performance of gig athletes as well as 100 m and 200 m performance of track & field athletes were measured by the ergometer.RESULTS: Twenty-five athletes accomplished detection of all the indexes and entered the result analysis. The level of FSL, progesterone and testosterone of gig athletes was higher at luteal phase than at follicular phase;however, E2 and LH level did not significantly differ. The level of progesterone and testosterone of track & field athletes was higher at luteal phase than at follicular phase; however, E2, FSH and LH level did not significantly differ. 500 m performance of gig athletes detected by the ergometer, and 100 m and 200 m full-speed running performance of track & field athletes at luteal phase were superior to those at follicular phase, but no significant difference was found in 2000 m performance of gig athletes. When the same loading was accomplished at follicular phase and luteal phase, the lactic acid value at luteal phase was significantly lower than that at follicular phase.CONCLUSION: Tested athletes at luteal phase have good functional status, which may be related to the changes of menstrual cycle hormone level and synergistic effect of various hormones under thes state of athletic movements. It suggests that sufficient attention should be paid to the menstrual cycle of female athletes.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of electrochemical therapy (EchT) on hemangiomas of liver.Method 186 cases of hemangiomas of liver with,male 97 and female 89 were selected for the study.The age ranged from 31～55 years old.The electrochemical therapy instrument of model ZAY-B and the electrode made of platinum were used.Suitable manipulating technique and treating quantity of electricity were investigated for the patients.Electrodes were inserted into the tumor through a tracer directly by opening the abdominal cavity.Normal tissue of liver was protected by the spaghetti and the electrodes were connected to EchT device,then the treatment began.The therapeutic voltage was 6～8V,electic current 120～160mA.The quantity of electricity was 100～150 Coulombs per 1.0cm diameter of the tumor.The treatment could be terminated when the tumor became from soft to stiff.Result The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated 6 months after EchT.Through the follow-up of 1～5 years,103 of total 186 cases of hemangiomas of liver completely disappeared(72.5%);31 cases partially relieved (21.8%) and 8 cases were ineffective (5.6%).Conclusion EchT to treat hemangiomas of liver is safe and efficacy,with less traumatic and a quick recovery.It can be served as a new method for treating hemangiomas of liver.
