A simple, precise, and rapid high-performance liquid chromatographic method was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of vitexin-2-O-glucoside, vitexin-2-O-rhamnoside, rutin, vitexin, and hyperoside. The HPLC separation was performed using a Shim-pack VP-ODS C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm i.d. , 5 μm) with the isocratic mobile phase consisting of tetrahydrofuran/acetonitrile/0.05％ phosphoric acid solution (20:3:77, v/v/v), and the flow rate was set at 1.0 mL/min. UV detection was carried out at a wavelength of 360 nm and the whole analysis took 25 min. The method was linear in the range of 4.12-206.00 μg/mL for vitexin-2-O-glucoside, 4.05-202.50 μg/mL for vitexin-2-O-rhamnoside, 1.64-82.00 μg/mL for rutin, 1.74-87.00 μg/mL for vitexin, and 1.41-70.60 μg/mL for hyperoside with the correlation coefficient for each analyte more than 0.998.The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of qnantitation (LOQ) were 0.6 and 2 ng for vitexin-2-O-glucoside, 0.6 and 2 ng for vitexin-2-O-rhamnoside, 0.3 and 1 ng for rutin, 1 and 3 ng for vitexin, and 0.5 and 2 ng for hyperoside, respectively. Lntra- and inter-day precision and accuracy (RSD) were less than 3％. The developed HPLC method was successfully applied to the analysis of five flavonoids in hawthorn leaves, hawthorn fruits, and the preparations containing hawthorn leaves or fruits.

Objective To study the relationship between arousal and sleep apnea in old people with sleep apnea syndrome(SAS). Methods Sixty-two aged patients were diagnosed of SAS after polysomnography (PSG). Records included total sleep time, apnea-hypopnea index(AHI),total arousal number(TAN), arousal index(AI), total respiratory-related arousal number(TRAN), total number of arousal lasted over 15 seconds (T15AN) and the severity of hypoxemia (desaturation). Sixty-four non-aged patients were included in control group. Ten aged patients were intervened with nasal continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP) treatment. Data were compared with that before treatment. Results The results for the above parameters of the aged and the non-aged SAS patients were( 35.1?23.2)/h and (39.1?27.2)/h respectively for AHI, (15.8?11.4)/h and (20.4?13.0)/h for AI, 44.1% and 51.3% for the ratio of TRAN/TAN, only 6.1% and 6.7% for ratio of T15AN/TAN. 50% of 62 aged and 64 non- aged SAS patients were in severe desaturation. Objective To reconstruct tissue-engineered uterine patch similar to native endometrium and myotrium. Methods The purified rabbit uterine smooth muscle cells and stromal cells were mixed with liquid type Ⅰ collagen, and laid on mold respectively. Then the collagen-embedded cells were combined to create a cell complex, epithelial cells were inoculated on top of the complex, histological and immunohistochemical staining, and scanning electron microscopy were used to analyze the engineered uterine tissue. Results The engineered uterine tissues (EUTs) were reconstructed with isolated and cultured uterine smooth muscle cells, stromal cells and epithelial cells. After cultured for 14 days, histological and immunohistochemical analyses showed that the smooth muscle cells and stromal cells in the EUTs distributed evenly in the two layers and the majority of the cells, with elongated nuclei, stretched along the stretching direction. The morphology of EUTs resembled that of the native uterine tissue. In scanning electron microscopy, some epithelial cells protruded pinopodes. The surface of epithelial cells was covered abundantly with microvilli and some cells were ciliated. Conclusion Uterine smooth muscle cells and stromal cells were mixed with Liquid type Ⅰcollagen respectively, and epithelial cells were inoculated on top of the complex for generation of EUTs similar to the native uterine tissue.

Objective: To explore weather microRNA let-7c (miR-let-7c) could regulate myotrophin gene expression in rat’s H9c2 cardiac myocytes with possible mechanisms.
Methods: Recombinant plasmid carrying 3′ untranslated region (3′-UTR) of myotrophin and miRNA precursor of let-7c was co-transfected into Hela cells to construct the luciferase reporter system in order to measure luciferase activity. Rat’s H9c2 cardiac myocytes were cultured. The let-7c gene expression was detected by Taqman probe-based real-time PCR after let-7c miRNA precursor or let-7c miRNA inhibitor transfection respectively; protein expressions of myotrophin and nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) were examined by Western blot analysis.
Results: Luciferase activity examination indicated that compared with recombinant luciferase gene expression carrier (pMIR-MTPN)+miR precursor negative control group, pMIR-MTPN+miR-let-7c miRNA precursor group showed reduced luciferase activity (59.30±9.90) % vs (98.10±15.10) %. Western blot analysis presented that compared with miR negative control group, miR-let-7c precursor group had decreased protein expressions of myotrophin (0.28±0.05) vs (0.90±0.09) and NF-κB (0.25±0.06) vs (0.75±0.07); in contrast, compared with Negative inhibitor group, miR-let-7c inhibitor group had increased protein expressions of myotrophin (1.14±0.09) vs (0.44±0.09) and NF-κB (1.09±0.05) vs (0.71±0.06), allP<0.05.
Conclusion: miR-let-7c could inhibit myotrophin expression via acting on its 3′-UTR domain and may also inlfuence NF-κB signaling pathway in rat’s H9c2 cardiac myocytes.

Objective To approach the reasons and influence factors about sudden deafness of nurs-es in the operating room. Methods We investigated the psychologic status and etiological factors of nurs-es in operating room through questionnaires designed by ourselves about general work pressure and sudden deafness correlative reasons. Results The total score of pressure was 21.486,among which rush work and check and examination,worrying about mistakes and accidents, pricking wound were the main reasons re-suiting in sudden deafness for the operating room nurses. Conclusions Enhancement of psychological nursing, health education and working environment improvement can lessen the anxiety emotion of nurses who have sudden deafness and has considerable effect to promote recovery.

Objective The research of impeller blood pump has been the key point in cardiac surgery and biomedical engineering fields in recent years. To investigate hydrodynamies of self researched and developed mini axial flow pump, parameters of pump were tested on a homemade mimic vitro platform. Methods Hydrodynamics tests were performed in vitro mimic circulation, water and 30% glycerin in water as respeetive circulatory mediator to simulate blood. Results Flow rates can reach 6. 19L/min and 5.08L/min respectively in water and 30% glycerin, when rotation speed was 13000rpm and pressure was 100mmHg. Conclusion Axial flow blood pump has good hydrodynamics to substitute for left ventricle, whieh can meet the demand of assisted circulation in congestive heart failure patients.

Objective To explore unexplained syncope (UPS) morbidity of elementary and middle school students in Changsha city.Methods Four thousand two hundred and fifteen students aged 5 to 18 years from six fulltime elementary or middle schools were randomly selected and the survey was conducted by giving them 4 215 copies of questionnaires and they were categorized into 3 groups:key school group(n =1 062),normal school group(n =1 310) and peasant laborer dependent's school group (n =1 349).Three thousand seven hundred and twenty-one copies of returning questionnaires (88.28％) were collected.Results 1.Morbidity:among 3 721 students there were 738 students(19.83％) who had once or more symptom of UPS.And the morbidity of middle school students was higher than elementary school students (28.87％ vs 7.96％,x2 =252.11,P ＜ 0.01).The morbidity of key school students was higher than normal school and peasant laborer dependent's school students (25.99％ vs 16.34％ vs 18.38％,x2 =40.93,P ＜ 0.01).2.Onset age:the onset age of UPS was 6-18 (14.23 ± 2.70) years old.3.Gender difference:for the middle school group,the morbidity of female students was higher than male students(31.34％ vs 26.49％,x2 =6.06,P ＜ 0.05).But for the elementary school group (male 9.04％ vs female 6.68 ％,x2 =2.85,P ＞ 0.05) and the total secondary school students (male 18.67％ vs female 21.12％,x2 =3.51,P ＞ 0.05),there was no significant difference between genders.Conclusions The UPS morbidity of students in Changsha is 19.83％.There are differences in age,school and gender.

Objective To explore the application of subdermal vascular network skin graft in severed finger reunion with small area skin defects.Methods Modified subdermal vascular network,which was inversion thin and middle thick,was used to repair defect of severed finger reunion without exposure of blood vessel.There were 10 patients and 14 fingers,including 7 patients and 10 fingers injured in the dorsal sid with 5 fingers' extensor tendon exposed,and 3 patients and 4 fingers injured in the palmar side with 2 patients' flexor tendon exposed.The defect area was ranged from 1.0 cm × 0.8 cm to 3.0 cm × 1.5 cm.Results In 6 larger subdermal vascular network,skin's edge became blue and blister appeared in the middle.The others was good with skin texture and aspect.Conclusions Modified subdermal vascular network skin graft is safe and effective choose to solve severed finger reunion with smnall area skin defects.

Objective To analyse CT diagnosis of unusual closed retroperitoneal trauma so that to improve its diagnostic accuracy.Methods CT features of unusual closed retroperitoneal trauma confirmed by clinical data and surgery in 13 cases were analyzed.Results There were adrenal hematomas in 11 cases,among them,2 cases accompanied with renal arterial occlusion,appeared as renal arterial ruptured suddenly and "interface sign".The hematomas appeared as round,similar round or mass hyperdense shadows and in combination with periadrenal tissue injury;pancreatic rupture in 2 cases,appeared as linear area of low attenuation inside pancreas.Conclusion CT scan is an effective modality for diagnosing the unusual closed retroperitoneal trauma.Correct CT diagnosis is very important for the effective surgical treatment as well as reduction of severe complications and mortality of unusual closed retroperitoneal trauma.
