1.The application of bioelectrical impedance measurement of body composition in patients with liver diseases
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(04):-
The status of bioelectrical impedance measurement especially the multifrequency segmental bioelectrical impedance measurement of liver diseases is introduced. The multifrequency segmental bioelectrical impedance can well rule out the impact from the change of body weight caused by edema and ascites, and can evaluate the volume of ascites.Compared with single frequency bioelectrical impedance, the multi frequency bioelectrical impedance measurements probably display good prospect. It helps to produce objective judgement on nutrition status and energy metabolism for patients with liver diseases. The effect, however, needs further clinical research.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2016;32(1):169-173
There are about 150 million people around the world with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV)infection currently,of whom 20%will ultimately progress to cirrhosis and eventually die of end-stage liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma.Interferon (IFN)has long been recognized as the cornerstone of the treatment of chronic hepatitis C because of its role in sustained virologic response and prevention of disease progression. However,it has limited efficacy and multiple adverse effects. In recent years,direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs) have shown good efficacy. This review summarizes the recent advances in IFN-free anti-HCV therapeutic regimens based on DAAs.We believe that, with the emergence of DAAs,IFN-free therapies will develop rapidly and display better prospects.

Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2012;28(1):37-40
Objective To observe the clinical characteristics and efficacy of laser photocoagulation of aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity (AP-ROP).Methods Twenty-eight eyes of 14 infants with AP-ROP from May 2008 to December 2010 were enrolled in this study. The infants were examined using RetCam photography and indirect ophthalmoscopy.Among the 28 eyes,24 eyes were classified as zone one and 4 eyes zone two.All eyes were treated within 24 hours using binocular indirect ophthalmoscope and laser photocoagulation. The initial energy was 200 mW,using energy was 200 - 500 mW,exposure time was 200 ms.Every two photocoagulation spot was linked together, but no overlap.Follow-up ranged from 3 to 24 months, with a mean of 11.5 months. The retinal bloods, the iris surface vessels, the fiber hyperplasia on retina, retinal detachment or ruffle form were observed. Results Twenty-five of 28 eyes (89.3 %) recovered or were classified as control; 1 of 28 eyes (3.6 %) was suffered retinal detachment one month after treatment. The detachment was resolved through vitrectomy Surgery. Two of 28 eyes (7.1 %)did poorly. The parents gave up treatment resulting in loss of vision. No treatment-related complications were observed during the follow-up period, such as damage to cornea, iris and lens. Conclusion Photocoagulation is a safe and effective way to treat most AP-ROP.

Chinese Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology 2017;33(3):237-240
Purpose To investigate the expression of RNF2 in breast disease tissues and cell lines, and to analyze the association between expression of RNF2 and clinicopathological characteristics in breast carcinoma. Methods Expression of RNF2 protein and mRNA levels was detected using immunohistochemistry of EnVision two-step and qRT-PCR in breast carcinoma and benign breast disease as well as in cell lines. Results RNF2 expression was sigmificantly higher in breast carcinoma tissue specimens compared with benign breast disease specimens (P <0.05).Besides,the expression of RNF2 protein was significantly associated to tumor size, lymph node status and TNM stage (P < 0.05 for both),but was not related to age, histological grade, the expression of ER,PR and HER-2 (P > 0.05 for both).Higher expression of RNF2 mRNA was detected in breast carcinoma cell lines compared with breast epithelial cell lines (P < 0.05).Conclusion RNF2 is overexpressed in breast carcinoma and can be a potential therapeutic target for breast carcinoma.

Objective To investigate effects of 1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D3 on the cell cycle and apoptosis of K652 cells. Methods Vitamin D receptor (VDR) expression was identified by western blot analysis. Cell growth, apoptosis and cell cycle were evaluated by MTT assay, acridine orange/ethidium bromide (AO/EB) and flow cytometry. Results VDR was present in K562 cell nucleus. 10-8mol/L 1, 25-Dihydroxyvitamin D3 could markedly inhibit K562 cells growth and induced cell apoptosis. Most of cells were arrested in G2/M phase, the ratio of apoptosis increased from 4.1% in control group to 26.5 % in treatment group (P<0.01). Conclusion 1,25-Dihydrexyvitamin D3 exhibited obvious inhibitory effects on cell proliferation and cell cycle, and induced apoptosis in K562 cells.

Objective To investigate the effects of phosphocreatine postconditioning on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion(IR)injury in rats. Methods Thirty-six SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:groups Sham,IR (treated with normal saline)and PCr.IR was induced by intraluminal middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO).All treatments were given intravenously at the begining of reperfusion.Twenty-four hours after the reperfusion, neurological deficit score and magnetic resonance scan were performed.serum concentrations of malonaldehyde and 4-hydroxynonenal,cere-bral infarct volume and destruction of cerebral cortex were estimated.Neuronal apoptosis was further assessed by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescent staining of caspase-3 and NeuN. Results Compared with group IR,phosphocreatine significantly decreased neurological deficit score, infarct volume, malonaldehyde and 4-hydroxynonenal levels(P < 0.05 ).Cortex structure was more complete,as well as neuronal apoptotic index was smaller in group PCr (P <0.05).Conclusion PCr can reduce cerebral infarct volume, thereby promote neurofunctional recovery. The mechanism of Pcr is related to reduced oxidative stress and inhibitted apopotosis during IR.
