1.Protein expression of cyclin D_2 and p16 in proliferation and differentiation of cultured cardiac myocytes
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
AIM: To investigate the protein expression of cyclin D_2 and p16 in proliferation and differentiation of cultured cardiac myocytes.METHODS: One-day-old Sparague-Dawley rats were used. Cardiac myocytes(CM) were collected by a trypsin-dispersal method and cultured. Cell growth line and fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) were used to investigate the proliferation of CM. Ultra-thin sections were made to observe the ultrastructure of CM under transmission electron microscope. The expression of cyclin D_2 and p16 in CM were measured using immunocytochemistry and image analysis.RESULTS: ①Results of cell growth line and FACS analysis showed that cultured CM could proliferate in the first 3 cultured days, but the ability decreased quickly, concomitant with differentiation. CM was obseved quiescent in cell cycle three days later. The ultrastructure of CM showed the large amount of myofilaments and mitochondrion. ②The protein expression of cyclin D_2 in 3,4,5 day CM group was 0.89 times( P

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(7):620-622
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of different acupuncture methods in treating post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN). Method Eighty PHN patients were randomized into group A, B, C and D, 20 in each group. Group A was intervened by fire-needle acupuncture, group B was by surround acupuncture, group C by pricking and cupping, and group D was by oral administration of Pregabalin. The visual analogue scale (VAS) was observed before and after intervention, and the clinical efficacy was compared. Result Compared to the pre-treatment VAS scores, the VAS scores were significantly changed after intervention and at 30 d after intervention in the 4 groups (P<0.05). The recovery rate and markedly-effective rate were respectively 55.0%and 95.0%in group A, 45.0%and 90.0%in group B, 50.0%and 85.0%in group C, and 40.0%and 60.0%in group D. There were no significant inter-group differences in comparing the recovery rate (P>0.05). The markedly-effective rates of group A, B and C were significantly different from that of group D (P<0.05). Conclusion Fire-needle acupuncture, surround acupuncture, and pricking and cupping are all effective methods in treating PHN;they safe and reliable and can obviously reduce pain intensity.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2017;33(21):1634-1638
Objective To investigate the breastfeeding knowledge of neonatal unit medical staff. Methods A purposefully designed anonymous survey was piloted and then distributed to nurses and doctors working in the neonatal unit. Respondents were required to answer twelve single choice and eight multiple choice questions to assess their level of knowledge of breastfeeding. A total of 180 questionnaires were distributed and 135 were returned. Results The average total score of the questionnaire was (61.11 ± 10.85) points. Item ofhow to deal with the thawed milk with not finished after heatingwas highest right rate ,97.8%(132/135);item ofdrug used during breastfeedingwas lowest right rate, only 1.5%(2/135). Conclusions This project has demonstrated that the medical staff is lack of knowledge towards the practice of breastfeeding in neonatal unit and the education of breastfeeding is urgently needed to help the medical staff and guarantee the security of breastfeeding.
5.Current status and influencing factors for child neglect in 3-6 years old rural children in Henan
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(9):792-796
ObjectivesTo study the current status of child neglect and its inlfuencing factors in children aged 3-6 years in rural Henan.MethodsScales and evaluation methods in the Chinese rural child aged 3-6 years neglected eval-uation model were applied in this study. The neglect rate and the neglect degree were used to describe the neglect status of rural children aged 3-6 years in Henan. The inlfuencing factors for child neglect were also analyzed. ResultsThe total neglect rate in 450 enrolled children was 37.1% (167/450). The total neglect degree was 51.9±6.5. The boys had signiifcant-ly higher neglect rate than girls (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in neglect degree between boys and girls (P>0.05). There were significant differences in neglect rate and neglect degree among the different age groups (P<0.05), the higher neglect rate and higher neglect degree over age. The neglect rate and neglect degree in nuclear families and fam-ilies with three generations were lower than those in single-parent families and remarried families (P<0.05). The neglect rate and neglect degree in non-only children were higher than those in only children (P<0.05). The left-behind children had signiifcantly higher neglect rate and neglect degree than children living with parents (P<0.05). Based on multivariate logis-tic regression analysis, the risk factors of child neglect were single-parent families (OR = 4.78, 95%CI : 2.10-10.87) and remarried families (OR=4.53, 95%CI : 1.99-10.01). The protective factors of child neglect were parents working on sci-ence (OR = 0.20, 95%CI : 0.10-0.67) and living with parents (OR = 0.03, 95%CI : 0.00-0.54).ConclusionsThe neglect status is serious in Henan rural children, particularly in left-behind children.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(8):566-568
Mutations of BRCA1 and BRCA2 are closely related to developing of breast cancer andovarian cancer. There are a great diversity of founder mutations of BRCA1 and BRCA2. Their types and fre quency are greatly different in populations from different geographic regions and ethnicities. In particular ethnicgroups, founder mutations show a high frequency due to a founder effect. Compared with the expensive wholegenomic scan, screening of founder mutations which could provide information for the prevention and treatmentof related cancer is more convenient and easy to popularize with low cost.
