Objective To analyze academic influence of SCI papers of TCM colleges and universities in the recent 10 years;To provide references for scientific research and academic exchange. Methods According to the evaluation ranking of degree and graduate education development center of Ministry of Education published in 2012 and standardization of InCites database, 10 Chinese medicine colleges and universities were selected. InCites platform was used to select 13 representative indicators and to analyze the cited cases, H index and the cooperation of the SCI papers published in 2006-2015. Results The SCI papers published by 10 TCM colleges and universities have been growing rapidly since 2010, and the average influence of standardized citations was 0.76. The average percentage of cited papers was 67%, which was slightly lower than that of 71%in clinical medicine papers of mainland of China. H index was 30. The average percentage of international cooperation papers in TCM colleges and universities was 17.71%, which was lower than the percentage of international cooperation papers in clinical medicine of mainland of China (22.85%). Conclusion In recent 10 years, the academic level of TCM colleges and universities in our country has been developing rapidly. However, there is still a need to further explore international perspectives, focus on research frontiers, strengthen international cooperation, carry out innovative research and improve academic influence.

The research outputs from 2010 to 2014 in clinical medicine of the top 10 universities announced by the Academic Degrees Center under Education Ministry of China in 2012 were analyzed and assessed according to the index system for assessment of research outputs in clinical medicine we established on the basis of bibliometrics.

Objective To observe the effect of Danzhi Jiangtang Capsules(DJC) on serum interleukin-18 (IL-18),cystatin C (CysC) and relative biochemical indexes in patients with early diabetic kidney disease(DKD),and to explore its protective action on the kidney.Methods Sixty-two hospitalized patients with early diabetic nephropathy (period 11-Ⅲ) in Endocrinology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into western medicine group and DJC group,31 cases in each group.The patients in western medicine group received conventional hypoglycemic drugs,and DJC group received DJC based on the treatment for the western medicine group.Before and after treatment,we observed the levels of serum IL-18,CysC,fasting plasma glucose (FPG),2-hour postprandial glucose (2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),serum creatinine (SCr),blood urea nitrogen (BUN),microalbumin (mAlb),urinary albumin /creatinine ratio (UACR),and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).Results The total effective rate was 90.0％ in DJC group and 76.7％ in the western medicine group,there being significant difference between the two groups(P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the main traditional Chinese medical syndrome scores of DJC group were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the improvement was better than that of the western medicine group (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01).After treatment,the serum levels of IL-18,CysC,2hPG,SCr,BUN,mAlb,UACR in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01),while eGFR level was higher than that before treatment (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01),and the improvement effect (except for BUN) in the DJC group was superior to that in the western medicine group(P ＜ 0.01).DJC had an effect on lowering the FPG and HbA1c (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01 compared with those before treatment),and the western medicine had no obvious effect on the two indexes (P ＞ 0.05).The results of Spearman correlation analysis showed that IL-18 was correlated with CysC,IL-18 and CysC were correlated with HbA1c,mALB and uACR.Conclusion DJC can protect renal function of patients with early diabetic nephropathy.

Objective:To investigate whether the risk of intravesical recurrence increases in patients with upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma (UUT-UC) and diabetes mellitus (DM) after radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) with bladder cuff excision. Methods:We ret-rospectively analyzed the clinicopathological data of 282 UUT-UC patients with no history of bladder neoplasm and who underwent RNU with bladder cuff excision in the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University from January 2005 to December 2013. The recurrence-free survival (RFS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) were compared between the non-diabetic (233 patients) and diabetic (49 patients) patients. The factors influencing intravesical recurrence in patients with UUT-UC after RNU were analyzed. These factors included age, DM, pathologic grade, and stage. Results:Among the 282 patients included in the study, 80 (28.4%) patients developed intravesical recurrence during the median fol ow up of 41 months, and the median time to recurrence was 11 months. Non-diabetic patients had a significantly longer duration of bladder neoplasm RFS than diabetic patients (P=0.013). Multivariate analysis using Cox's regression model indicated that DM (P=0.014), renal pelvis and ureter tumor (P=0.001), and postoperative chemotherapy (P=0.024) were independent influential factors for intravesical recurrence in patients with UUT-UC after RNU with bladder cuff excision. Conclusion:DM posed an increased risk for intravesical recurrence after RNU with bladder cuff excision in patients with UUT-UC. Therefore, these patients need to be closely monitored, and their blood glucose must be controlled.

Objective To study influences of magnetic field on behavior of depressive rats under chronic unpredictable mild stress,and possible mechanisms under such phenomena.Methods Thirty-six Wistar rats were divided into model group,magnetic field group and control group (n =12 in each group) according to random number table.The model group and the magnetic field group received CUMS stimulation daily for 5 weeks,while the control group received no any treatment.At the end of the fifth week,rats in the magnetic field group were placed in the center of a magnetic machine (400 mT),and the model group was raised freely for4 weeks.The severity of depressive behaviors,cortisol levels and contents of C-reactive protein in blood and urine sample were tested pre-treatment,at the end of 5 weeks and 9 weeks.Results After 5 weeks,consumption of glucose solution of the control group was higher than the other two groups (P ＜ 0.05).After 5 and 9 weeks,body weights of the magnetic group and the model group were lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).At the end of 9 weeks,performance of the magnetic group as indicated by frequency of grid crossing,grooming time and suspending tail test were improved to a significantly greater extent than the other two groups (P ＜ 0.05).In addition,the urine content of cortisol in 24 hours in magnetic field and model groups was higher than the control group at the end of 5 weeks,and the serum level of cortisol in the magnetic field group were significantly higher than the model group at the end of 9 weeks (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The 400mT magnetic field can reduce the severity of behavior changes of rats with CUMS-induced depression,which might be attributable to its influence on the cortisol levels in blood and urine.

Laboratory diagnosis is the main contents of diagnostics course for clinical majors,whose contents is too broad and too difficulty to understand.For this reason,the results of traditional teaching method are not satisfactory.Therefore,teaching and research section did an exploratory reform on experiment diagnosis teaching by clearly defining teaching contents,emphasizing clinical thinking way,reforming experimental teaching,adding multimedia to assist teaching and cultivating high quality teaching teams.As a result,the reform enhanced study interest of students,promoted teaching quality and effects greatly and achieved preliminary success.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy differences between domestic gefitinib and original gefitinib in the first-line treatment of patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) sensitive mutation advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (stage Ⅲ B and Ⅳ). Methods:A total of 91 cases with EGFR sensitive mutation advanced NSCLC in Dezhou People's Hospital of Shandong Province from January 2017 to July 2019 were selected and were randomly divided into the observation group (47 cases) and the control group (44 cases) according to random number table method. The observation group was given the treatment of domestic gefitinib, and the control group was given the treatment of original gefitinib, and then the treatment outcome, adverse reactions, survival status and the cost of two groups were compared.Results:The objective response rate in the observation group and the control group was 91.5% (43/47) and 84.1% (37/44), respectively; the disease control rate in the observation group and the control group was 100.0% (47/47) and 97.7% (43/44), respectively; and the differences were not statistically significant ( χ2 = 2.708, P = 0.224; χ2 = 1.080, P = 0.484). The median progression-free survival (PFS) time of domestic gefitinib group and original gefitinib group was 13.26 months (95% CI 11.34-14.66 months) and 13.19 months (95% CI 12.52-15.48 months), respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant ( P = 0.735). The subgroup analysis showed that the median PFS time of patients with an exon 19 deletion mutation in the observation group and the control group was 12.98 months (95% CI 11.25-14.75 months) and 13.89 months (95% CI 12.04-15.96 months), respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant ( P = 0.604). The median PFS time of patients with an exon 21 L858R missense mutation in the observation group and the control group was 15.08 months (95% CI 11.79-18.21 months) and 11.94 months (95% CI 9.20-14.79 months), and the difference was not statistically significant ( P = 0.114). There was no statistically difference in the incidence of adverse reactions including skin rash, diarrhea, interstitial pneumonia, oral mucositis, nausea and vomiting, myelosuppression, abnormal aminotransferase of the two groups of patients (all P > 0.05). The treatment cost in the observation group and the control group during the treatment period was (2 118.43±137.93) yuan per month and (5 945.48±247.48) yuan per month, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant ( t = 12.854, P = 0.001). Conclusions:Domestic gefitinib and original gefitinib have the same therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of EGFR sensitive mutation advanced NSCLC. The adverse reactions are similar between domestic gefitinib and original gefitinib. Compared with the original gefitinib, the drug economy of domestic gefitinib is better and it can significantly reduce the financial burden of patients, and it can be used as an important option in the first-line treatment of patients with EGFR sensitive mutation advanced NSCLC.

Objective To evaluate the effects of dexmedetomidine on perioperative pulmonary compliance and the expression of Toll?like recep?tor(TLR)?2 and TLR?4 in the peripheral blood during perioperative period in patients undergoing open colorectal cancer radical surgery. Meth?ods Twenty patients with colorectal cancer underwent elective general anesthesia,with ASA gradeⅠ?Ⅱand body mass index(BMI)<30 kg/m2, aged 30 to 68 years old,were enrolled for the study. They were randomly divided into control group(group C,n=10)and dexmedetomidine group (group D,n=10). In group D,dexmedetomidine was infused at a rate of 0.4μg·kg-1·h-1 from the beginning of surgery till 30 min before the end of surgery. The patients in group C received same manipulation as in group D except dexmedetomidine was replaced by normal saline. The mean ar?terial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)were recorded before anesthesia induction(T0),30 min(T2),60 min(T3),and 90 min(T4)after the beginning of surgery,extubation(T6),and 3 min after extubation(T7). Airway pressure and lung dynamic compliance were recorded at T1?T7 time points,respectively. Vein blood samples were drawn to analyze the TLR?2,TLR?4 and tumor necrosis factorα(TNF?α)concentration at T0,T4,T7 and the day after operation(T8),respectively. Results Compared with group C,MAP and HR increased in group D at T6(P<0.05);lung dynamic compliance increased in group D at T4(P<0.05);TLR?2 and TLR?4 concentration in serum decreased in group D at T4, T7 and T8(P<0.05);TNF?αconcentration in serum decreased in group D at T4,T7 and T8(P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous infusion of 0.4μg·kg-1·h-1 dexmedetomidine can help to stabilize hemodynamics,relieve inflammatory stress response,maintain the relative stability of intra?operative hemodynamic parameters,and also can improve the pulmonary dynamic compliance of patients.

Ginsenoside Rb3 (GRb3) is one of the main components in plasma of Panax quinquefolius Saponin of stem and leaf (PQS), which can be into human plasma. Previous studies have found PQS has estrogen-like vascular protective effects. In the present study, we investigated the estrogen-like protective effect of GRb3 on oxidative stress and dysfunction of endothelial cells induced by oxidized low-density lipoprotein. The activities of SOD, NOS and the contents of MDA in the cell lysate were examined by enzyme method or spectrophotometry. The NO and ET-1 concentrations in the cell culture supernatant were measured by ELISA method. The iNOS and eNOS mRNA expression were measured by real time RT-PCR, while the phosphorylation levels of Akt was measured by Western blotting. The results showed that GRb3 could enhance the activity of SOD, reduce the content of MDA, increase the level of NOS, NO, ET-1 and iNOS mRNA expression while decrease the eNOS mRNA expression and the phosphorylation level of Akt. These effects were blocked by estrogen receptor antagonist ICI182780. GRb3 can play a role in protecting vascular endothelial cells by estrogen receptors, the protective mechanism is similar to 17-β estrodiol.
