60 cases(aged 18-40 years) underwent orthodontic treatment were divided into 2 groups.30 patients in group A were treated with invisible aligners,while 30 in group B with fixed orthodontic appliance.Periodontal indices (PI,GI,SBI,PD)were examined before treatment,6 weekes,6 months and 12 months after treatment.Before and 6 weeks after treatment the indices were not statistically different between groups,6 and 12 months after treatment the indices of group A were lower than those of group B (P ＜ 0.05).The invisalign appliance is more propitious to periodontal health than the fixed orthodontic appliance.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and restless legs syndrome (RLS) and to further examine relevant factors that may contribute to the co-occurrence of MS and RLS.Methods Seventy MS patients were recruited in the present study.The RLS screen was further performed in MS patients based on the diagnostic criteria for RLS.MS patients with RLS were designated as the case group and MS patients without RLS served as the control group.The clinical data including age of MS onset,MS duration and clinical disability by the expanded disability status scale (EDSS) were analyzed.Results There were 12 MS patients with RLS in total 70 MS patients and the incidence rate was 17.1％.The average age of MS onset in the RLS group was (47.6 ± 10.0) years,and (40.1 ± 10.4 ) years in the control group.The difference of average age of MS onset was found to be significant (t =2.29,P =0.030).The average history of MS in the RLS group was ( 12.6 ± 6.8 ) years,and ( 8.2 ± 6.6) years in the control group ( t =2.10,P =0.039).The average EDSS of the RLS group was 4.5 ±2.5,and 2.5 ±2.0 in the control group (t =3.02,P =0.004).There was no significant association between RLSRS and EDSS in MS patients with RLS (P =0.15).Conclusion The incidence rate of RLS in MS patients was high.Among patients with MS,RLS was associated with older age,longer MS duration,and more severe disability.

Objective To investigate the serum creatinine (SCr) level in patients with sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (sALS) and to explore the relationship between the SCr level and the clinical characteristics.Methods A total of 80 patients with sALS,80 patients with multiple system atrophy (MSA) and 80 patients with tension-type headache (TTH) were enrolled in the study.The SCr levels were compared among the three groups.The association between the SCr level and the revised Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Functional Rating Scale (ALSFRS-R),the forced vital capacity (FVC) percentage of predicted (FVC％ pred),the site of symptom onset,the duration of disease and the rate of disease progression was evaluated in the sALS group.Results The SCr level was significantly decreased in the sALS group than the other two groups [(60.86 ± 16.80) μmol/L vs (70.05 ± 12.79) μmol/L and (66.97-± 14.14) μmol/L,P ＜ 0.01].In the sALS group,the SCr level was positively correlated with the ALSFRS-R (r =0.315,P =0.005),while no correlation was found between the SCr level and the FVC％ pred,the site of symptom onset,the duration of disease and the rate of disease progression (all P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The SCr level is an important biochemical index in the patients with sALS and might play an important role in monitoring the disease progression.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of costunolide and dehydrocostus lactone in Haoweilai soft capsule. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Dikma C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile- water (V/V,55∶45) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 225 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range were 24.00-108.00 μg/ml(r=0.999 7) for costunolide and 20.88-93.98 μg/ml for dehydrocostus lactone (r=0.999 8);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 1%;recoveries were 98.71%-100.00%(RSD=0.25%,n=6)and 96.88%-99.18%(RSD=0.40%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple with good stability and reproducibility,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of costunolide and dehydrocostus lactone in Haoweilai soft capsule.

Objective To investigate the infection status of A ngiostrongylus cantonensis in winkle from 9 cities in Guizhou Province.Methods The winkles were collected randomly from aquatic products wholesale market,agricultural market or restaurants in 9 cities (Guiyang,Zunyi,Tongren,Kaili,Anshun,Duyun,Xingyi,Bijie and Shuicheng) and classified in Guizhou Province,and the third-stage larvas of Angiostrongylus cantonensis were separated and detected with microscopy by tissue homogenization (Pomacea canaliculata was first checked with lung screening method,and then rechecked by tissue homogenization),and infection rate was calculated.Results Totally 2 177 winkles were tested,the overall infection rate of Angiostrongylus cantonensis was 1.5％ (32/2 177),among them,Pomacea canaliculata was 1 287,five was positive,and the infection rate was 0.4％; Achatinafulica was 240,positive 27,the infection rate was 11.3％; Bellamya lithophaga was 372 and all 278 Cipangopaludina chinensis was not positive.Conclusions There is a higher risk of infection with Angiostrongylus cantonensis if eating winkles.The third-stage larva in Pomacea canaliculata and Achatina fulica has been found in Guizhou Province.Market management,food-safety inspection of the winkles on sale,and public health education should be strengthened.

Aim To investigate the effects of silencing MALAT1 gene on cell proliferation inhibition and apop-tosis induced by Melittin in human hepatocellular car-cinoma HepG2 cells. Methods The inhibitory rate of cell proliferation treated with Melittin in HepG2 cells was examined by MTT assay. Apoptotic rate was detec-ted by flow cytometry. The MALAT1 expression level in HepG2 cells was measured by qPCR. Specific siR-NAs were utilized to silence MALAT1 expression. The rates of cell proliferation inhibition and apoptosis in HepG2 cells treated with siRNA and Melittin were compared with those of Melittin alone. Results Melit-tin significantly suppressed the growth of HepG2 and induced cell apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner. Compared with normal liver cell lines, MALAT1 was highly expressed in HepG2 cells ( P<0. 05 ) . The ex-pression of MALAT1 in HepG2 cells was inhibited by Melittin, and the inhibitory rate increased with the in-crease of concentration. The rates of cell proliferation inhibition and apoptosis in HepG2 cells treated with siRNA and Melittin were significantly higher than those treated merely with Melittin. Conclusion Melittin can reduce the expression of MALAT1 and silencing MALAT1 can effectively promote proliferation inhibi-tion and apoptosis in HepG2 cells induced by Melittin.

Objective To study the influence factor of recurrence in breast cancer.Methods The grouping treatment and tumor by stages,tumor transfer were observed in 105 cases with primary breast cancer.Results Among 105 patients,the inside of 2 years relapse was 47.6%(50/105);Tumor Ⅱ period recurrence rate was 40.0%(10/25),Ⅲ period recurrence rate was 28.0%(7/25);Among 105 cases,the distant place transfer to recurrence rate was 31.4%(33/105);Among 105 patients for surgical operation,its relapsing rate was 40.0%,but in 25 cases after operation putting radiation treatment,relapse rate was 16.0%;The part recurrence rate totally was 58.0%(61/105),among them the chest wall recurrence rate was 13.3%(14/105);The supraclavilar lymphonodes transfer was 20.9%(22/105),the axlla lymphnides transfer was 23.8%(25/105);The distant place transfer was 31.4%(33/105).Conclusion The recurrence rate of association treatment obviously is lower than that pure surgical operation,the relapsing of tumor with tumor by stages and transfer relevanted.

Objective To explore the impact of different doses of dexmedetomidine on the anesthetic sedative and analgesic effect of anesthesia agents in hysterectomy of patients with uterine fibroids under laparoscopy.Methods 90 patients with uterine fibroids with ASA class Ⅰ or Ⅱ who were going to undergoing general intravenous anesthesia laparoscopic hysterectomy were selected and they were divided into group A (dexmedetomidine 0.4μg·kg-1·h-1,n=30) and group B (dexmedetomidine 0.2μg·kg-1·h-1,n=30) and group C (no dexmedetomidine,n=30) by digital random method.The analgesia effect (VAS score) of group A,group B and group C preoperation and postoperative 1h,12h and 24h,and the sedation (Ramsay sedation score) were compared.General information,postoperative blood pressure,heart rate,pulse oxygen saturation,postoperative patients'' satisfaction on analgesic effect and the sedation effect and adverse reactions of the three groups were also compared.Results Age,body mass index and other basic information of three groups had no statistically significant differences (all P＞0.05).The preoperative VAS score of the three groups also had no statistically significant difference (F=0.625,P＞0.05).Postoperative 12h,24h,the VAS scores of group A and group B were lower than those of C group,which of group A were lower than group B (F=11.250,P＜0.05,F=21.181,P＜0.05).The Ramsay sedation score was higher than that of C group[(3.67±0.18) vs.(2.13±0.11)].The satisfaction of group A was significantly higher than group B and group C (96.67％ vs.73.33％,46.67％,χ2=25.953).The Ramsay sedation score and satisfaction were higher than those of group B (all P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in blood pressure (F=0.362,P＞0.05),pulse oxygen saturation (F=0.978,P＞0.05) and heart rate among the three groups before and after operation (F=1.268,P＞0.05).There was no obvious adverse reaction in the three groups.Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can promote anesthetic sedative and analgesic effect of anesthesia agents in hysterectomy of patients with uterine fibroids under laparoscopy,and the dose 0.4μg·kg-1·h-1 of dexmedetomidine has better effect,feasibility and safety,it is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective To study the development of cardiomyopathy complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the rats. Methods The 120 health male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 180-220 g, were divided into 4 groups: (1)STZ-modeled diabetes, fed with high-carbohydrate plus high-fat diet (n=40);(2)fed with regular diet (n=30);(3)and (4)SD rats with citrate buffer instead of STZ injection, fed with high-carbohydrate and high fat diet (n= 25);and fed with regular diet (n= 25); At the 4th, 8 th, 12 th and 16 th week after the intra-peritoneal injection of STZ solution or citrate buffer solution, rats from each group were scarified and examined. Results There were no significant differences in body mass and blood glucose among those groups after one week of feeding (P＞0. 05).After 4 weeks of feeding before injection, the body mass, fasting insulin (FINS) and insulin sensitive index (ISI) were obviously increased in diabetes group and high-carbohydrate plus high-fat control group as compared with STZ control group and normal control group (P＜ 0. 05). There were no significant differences between diabetes group and high-carbohydrate plus high-fat control group,between STZ control group and normal control group (P＞0. 05). After injection, the blood glucose,body mass, ventricular mass, TG and TC were higher in diabetes group and high-carbohydrate plus high-lipid control group than in STZ control group and normal control group (P＜0.05). The above parameters were much higher in diabetes group than in high-carbohydrate plus high-lipid control group, but there was no difference between STZ control group and normal control group (P＜0. 05).Pathological examination showed that the weight of the heart was significantly increased, the myocardial cells were hypertrophied accompanying degenerative changes and apoptosis, the interstitial collagen fibers were hyperplasia in the diabetic rats. The ultrastructures also presented severe damage.These changes indicated that cardiomyopathy was induced in the diabetes rats. Although similar changes were found in the rats fed with high-carbohydrate plus high-fat diet, they were much less significant than those in the diabetic rats. Conclusions Cardiomyopathy developes frequently in the rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus induced by feeding high-carbohydrate plus high-lipid diet and single intra-peritonial injection of 30 mg/kg STZ solution.
