1.On the Correlation of Law and Ethics in Constructing a Harmonious Physician-Patient Relationship
Chinese Medical Ethics 1996;0(01):-
Starting with XIAO Zhi-jun case, this article discussed the construction of a harmonious physician-patient relationship, and the tendency that rules of law were emphasized excessively while ethics was overlooked existing in theoretical research and practice. However, this tendency was theoretically segmentary and practically harmful.By analyzing the correlations between law and ethics, the authors insisted on the mutual dependence between law and ethics and came up with a combination of law and ethics as a basic principle to build a harmonious physician-patient relationship.

Objective To discuss cultivation of higher vocational nursing talents in the model of learning and working rotation during the cooperation of school and hospital. Methods Students were cultivated by two years school study, two years learning and hospital work rotation and one year hospital position practice which was adopted as an "221" mode by means of organizational leadership, agreed safeguard and co-management. Half day learning and half day practice in four learning situation which have been transformed from the real professional workplace. Results Scores of professional core courses and operation skills had been improved significantly; Students cultivated by "221" mode had more superiority on the aspects of post adaptability, hand skills, communication skills and the ability of linking theory to practice. Conclusions The model of learning and working rotation during the cooperation of school and hospital is the important way of cultivating higher vocational nursing talents.

[Objective]To investigate the effect and complications of treating radial neck fractures in children with elastic stable intramedullary nail(ESIN).[Method]A retrospective study was applied in 35 children(5~13 years) with displaced radial neck fractures, that were corrected with ESIN in our hospital from 2005 to 2008.[Result]All cases were successfully followed up,with an average time of 7.5 months.Ninteen cases were evaluated as excellent,6 cases were good, the excellent and good rate was 68%.Avascular necrosis was found in 9 cases, including 4 cases of radial head bulk formation,1 case showed ossification and delayed union was proved in 2 cases.[Conclusion]Treating the radial neck fracture with ESIN is a simple and minimally invasive method, the overall effect is good while the complications are limited.

[Objective]To evaluate the efficacy and short-term results of FASTIN anchor in cervical expansive open-door laminoplasty(ELAP).[Method]From February 2005 to February 2006,a total of 89 cases of cervical spondylotic myelopathy(CSM) were assessed in this study.Forty patients undergoing expansive open-door laminoplasty(ELAP) by FASTIN anchor were classified as study group.Fouty-nine patients undergoing conventional ELAP served as controls. The clinical results and radiological examinations of both groups were evaluated at 24 months after surgery.[Result]There were no significant differences in operation time, bleeding quantity and recovery rate of Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA) scores. The incidences of axial symptoms and C5 palsy in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2003;0(06):-
Objective To establish a non-irradiated precondition strategy for successful donor specific transplantation tolerance induced by bone marrow transplantation which may be introduced to clinical application by a murine model. Methods Male C57BL/6 and female BALB/c mice were used as skin transplant donors and recipients respectively. In all, 11 groups were studied: group 1, control mice with skin graft and without any other treatment; group 2, mice receiving only donor bone marrow transplantation (DBMT) before skin transplantation; groups 3~5, mice administrated by only high dose FK506, CsA or CTX respectively and then skin transplantation; groups 6~8, mice receiving DBMT preconditioned by high dose FK506, CsA or CTX respectively and followed by skin transplantation. Both skin and bone marrow donors were male C57BL/6 mice in above 8 groups. Mice in groups 9~11 were treated almost equally to groups 6~8 except that skin grafts were from the third party ICR donors to prove specificity of tolerance. Every group included 6 recipients. Survival time of skin graft was recorded. Macrochimerism were examined by PCR method. Results Neither standard dose DBMT nor high dose immnodepressants alone could prolong skin graft survival, and macrochimerism was not detected, either. But skin graft survival time was significantly prolonged and macrochimerism was also detected in mice of 6~8 groups. Survival time of skin graft from the third party mice was not prolonged. Conclusions Bone marrow transplantation preconditioned with high dose immunosuppressants and without irradiation can induce donor specific transplantation tolerance and prolong murine skin graft survival. It may work through the mechanism of establishment of macrochimerism.

Objective To explore the correlation between the higher-order personality dimension(neuroticism) and the lower-order personality traits (alexithymia,dependence,self-criticism,perfectionism) in the sample of university students, and explore the effect of the higher-order personality dimension and lower-order personality traits to depression in the same sample. Methods A convenient sample of 563 university students from the two Universities College in Hunan province. These students were assessed with Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression Scale (CES-D),Depressive Experiences Questionnaire (DEQ),The twenty-item Toronto Alexithymia Scales (TAS-20),Frost multidimensional perfectionism scale (FMPS) and neuroticism subscale in EPQ.Results (1) There were significant relationships between the total score of CES-D,each depressive symptoms and 10 personality factors, such as neuroticism, doubts about action and so on (The coefficients ranged from 0.105 to 0.569,P <0.05 or P<0.01).(2)Factor analysis and multiple linear regression on the neurotic showed that doubts about action, concerned over mistakes, difficulties identifying feelings (DIF),difficulties describing feelings (DDF),dependency,self-criticism and neuroticism belonged to the factor 1 (the factor load coefficients ranged from 0.574 to 0.775).(3) Neuroticism can explained 32.3 % variance of depression (R 2adj =0.323),after 6 personality factors entered the regression equation, such as difficulties describing feelings (DDF),parental criticism and so on,the explained variance of depression increased to 43.2% (R2adj =0.432).Conclusion There are overlapping and interaction between personality traits which include self-criticism,dependency,difficulties describing feelings(DDF),difficulties identifying feelings (DIF),concerned over the mistakes and neuroticism personality dimensions. The depressed affect are effectively predicted by neuroticism which is a effectively predict factor of depression, personality traits included self-criticism,dependency,alexithymia and malajustment perfectionism have a gain function of depression base on the Neuroticism.

BACKGROUND: It is of great significance to study the resilience of articular cartilage for human daily routine and their match quality. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the micromechanical properties of articular cartilage resilience under different loads and at time points. METHODS: The swine cartilage samples coated with tracers were compressed using the MTF-100 tensile machine, and the cartilage compression and resilience were recorded by CCD. Images were processed using digital image correlation technology.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: During resilience, the strain value on the superficial surface of the cartilage was decreased most, successively followed by the middle layer and the deep layer, while the time of a decrease from 20%, 10% and 6% to 3% was similar. The longer the resilience time was, the more slowly the strain changed in different layers of the cartilage, but the ultimate strain was less than 1%. On the same layer under different compressive stress, the larger load caused faster strain change firstly, and then the smaller load brought about faster strain change. The effect of different continuous compressive time on the same layer of cartilage was similar with the load. These results showed that 90% resilience of the articular cartilage occurred within the first 15 minutes. The mechanical resilience of different layers of the articular cartilage has a close relationship with the loading and the loading time, and both compressive time and loading do harm to the resilience of articular cartilage. Besides, the cartilage will rebound to the state before compression.
