ObjectiveTo explore the effect of doctor-nurse integration mode in treating patients with liver cirrhosis treated with endoscopic variceal ligation (EVL).Methods According to the random number table,74 patients were randomly divided into control group and experiment group with 37 in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the experiment group was managed by doctor-nurse integration nursing mode. The two groups were compared in respect of early re-bleeding after EVL and mastery of health knowledge.Result The mastery of health-related knowledge in the experiment group was better than the control one and the rate of re-bleeding was significantly lower (P<0.05).Conclusion The doctor-nurse integration care mode can reduce the early postoperative re-bleeding after EVL in patients with liver cirrhosis and enhance the health education awareness.

Objective To study the different proteins of human and environment Vibrio cholerae (V. cholerae) by two dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) and TOF-TOF-MS. Methods Total cellular pro-tein was extracted by lysate from V. cholerae, and proteins were separated by 2-DE under immobilized pH gradients(IPG), then electrophoregrams were dealed with coomassie brilliant blue, and analyzed by Im-ageMaster 2D Elite 5.0, finally the different protein spots were identified by TOF-TOF-MS. Results High repetitive 2-DE maps were obtained. 2-DE and image analysis revealed 1032±22 protein spots, and PI value was among 4.00 to 7.20. Matching spots were 1025±24 in two repeats electrophoregrams and matching ratio was 96.30%. Conclusion The different protein spots were successfully established with high quality and sharpness separation by 2-DE and TOF-TOF-MS, which stands as a valuable resource for proteomics re-search of V. cholerae.

Objective: To determine the anti rejection effects of CTLA 4 Ig fusion protein on cardiac allografts in mice and to discuss its mechanism in vivo . Methods: BALB/c recipients were performed cervical heterotopic heart transplantation to receive C57BL/6 donor hearts with a cuff technique. BALB/c recipients were intraperitoneally injected with CTLA 4 Ig [100 ?g/d?15 times], control immunoglobins and PBS to observe the survival time of allografts with ECG. The hyporesponsiveness of splenic T cell, the polarization of the T subsets were analyzed after the recipients treated with CTLA 4 Ig. Results: After treated with CTLA 4 Ig, the survival of cardiac grafts was significantly prolonged compared with the control groups, and more than 40% cardiac grafts survived over 2 months. The splenic T cells isolated from recipients did not respond to restimulation of donor splenocytes in MLR, but did exhibit the capacity to proliferate in response to C3H splenocytes(third party). The levels of IL 2 and IFN ? decreased and the level of IL 10 increased in CTLA 4 Ig treated mice. Conclusion: Administration of CTLA 4 Ig can induce donor specific tolerance, which induce T subsets to polarize toward Th2 subset and hyporesponsiveness to alloantigen, and prolong the survival time of the cardiac grafts effectively. BACKGROUNDSurgical resection is the most effective treatment for renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Currently several prognostic factors and models are used for outcome prediction. However, whether intratumoral changes are independent prognostic factors for RCC or not remains unclear. The aim of the study was to investigate the prognostic roles of intratumoral changes in surgical treated localized clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC).
METHODSPatients who received partial or radical nephrectomy between 2004 and 2009 in our center were retrospectively reviewed. Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to assess gender, age, body mass index (BMI), intratumoral hemorrhage, tumor necrosis, cystic degeneration, sarcomatoid change, Ki-67 expression, Fuhrman grade, and T stage on recurrence-free survival (RFS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS).
RESULTSA total of 378 patients were included in our study. In univariate analysis, age, BMI, intratumoral hemorrhage, tumor necrosis, sarcomatoid change, Ki-67 expression level, Fuhrman grade, and T stage were prognostic factors for RFS. Age, BMI, tumor necrosis, sarcomatoid change, Ki-67 expression level, Fuhrman grade, and T stage were prognostic factors effecting CSS. In multivariate analysis, age, BMI, tumor necrosis, sarcomatoid change, Ki-67, Fuhrman grade, and T stage were independent prognostic factors for both RFS and CSS.
CONCLUSIONIntratumoral changes such as tumor necrosis and sarcomatoid change are independent prognostic factors for ccRCC.
