Objective By discussing the relationship between allergic diseases caused by pollen,pollen density and meteorological factors,making out the warning for the allergic diseases caused by pollen,in order to provide a public service.Methods The data of meteorology from 2001 to 2005 of Tianjin,the pollen monitoring of the Weather Iron Tower Station day by day and the allergic patients whose skin tests were positive in Tianjin Municipal Chest Hospital and Tianjin Municipal Police Hospital were taken to statistical analysis on the rule of seasonal allergic diseases,the relationship between allergic diseases and pollen density and meteorological factors(such as vapor pressure and wind speed),and the prediction equations were obtained for allergic diseases caused by pollen.Results There was obviously positive correlation between the incidence rate of pollinosis(y),weighted pollen density(x11) and vapor pressure(x22) within twenty-days before the onset.The multiple correlation coefficient was 0.805 and the prediction equation was y =2.385+ 0.079 3x11 +3.507x22.Conclusion There is a close correlation between the incidence rate of pollinosis and pollen density.The allergic diseases caused by pollen are also affected by the change of air temperature,varieties of pollen and humidity.

Objective To analyze hematosis of modified homemade Buxue decoction discriminate on patients with hemorrhagic anaemia after unilateral total hip arthroplasty and prognosis.Methods88 patients with hemorrhagic anaemia who underwent unilateral total hip arthroplasty in our hospital from February 2015 to Janurary 2017 were selected, they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 44 cases in each group.The control group received pure western medicine after unilateral total hip arthroplasty, the observation group added modified homemade Buxue decoction discriminate on the basis of the control group.Clinical therapeutic effect on anemia, hematosis indexes including hemoglobin (HB), red blood cell (RBC), erythrocrit (HCT) in the two groups were compared, occurrence of complications during postoperative treatment, hip scores were used to compared prognostic differences in the two groups.ResultsTotal effective rate of the observation group 95.45% was significantly higher than the control group (81.82%) (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in Hb, RBC and HCT level before the treatment in the two groups, Hb (130.23±13.09)g/L, RBC (4.16±0.71)×1012/L and HCT (0.42±0.03) in the observation group after the treatment were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05);complication rate in the observation group 9.10% was significantly lower than the control group (25.00%) (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in hip joint function scores before the treatment in the two groups, hip joint function score in the observation group after the treatment (79.73±5.42)scores was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01).ConclusionTreatment effect of modified homemade Buxue decoction discriminate on hemorrhagic anaemia after unilateral total hip arthroplasty is significant, can promote recovery of hematosis, hip joint and motor function effectively.

AIM: In order to investigate the possible cumulative and chronic toxicity of paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP) and provide more information on toxicity of PSP. METHODS: The sub-acute toxicity of PSP was evaluated in the rat. PSP was extracted from the seafood in market, and the toxicity of the extract was determined by mouse bioassay. The extracts in different toxicity were administrated to rats through gastrotube for 35 days. The biochemical and pathological changes in vital tissues in rats were examined by the detections of some function indexes in blood and urine and the observations under optical microscope during both the exposure period and the subsequent 10-day withdrawal term. RESULTS: No biochemical and pathological changes in tissues occurred for the control and low-dose group (4.6 ?g STX/kg), whereas some changes happened for the middle (9.2 ?g STX/kg) and high groups (18.4 ?g STX/kg). In experiment, some renal function indexes changed in the mid-dose group, and some of the cardiac, hepatic and renal functions indexes altered for the high dose group with some changes in weight of the thymus gland and spleen. What is more, the liver and kidney became indistinct with some inflammatory changes, and some muscles had ruptured for the 40% rats in high-dose group. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that long-term intake of PSP at a concentration, which doesn't exceed the threshold of standard, has some toxicity on rats, and that the toxicity of PSP has an accumulative effect. In a word, it is unsafe for us to eat frequently bivalve seafood polluted by PSP toxins.

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of the patients with hyperthyroidism complicated with acute cerebral infarction, and to evaluate the prognosis and safety of intravenous thrombolysis treatment in the patients with hyperthyrodism complicated with acute cerebral infarctron within time window for thrombolysis. Methods:The clinical materials of patients with acute cerebral infarction treated with intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (rt-pA)were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were divided into hyperthyroidism group (n=41) and non-hyperthyroidismin group (n=160) according to whether complicated with hyperthyroidism.The general imformation,the area of cerebral infarction and intracranial hemorrhage of the patients in two groups were analyzed.Results:The NHISS score of the patients in hyperthyroidism group was higher than that in non-hyperthyroidism group for the first time(P<0.05).The NHISS scores 7 d after treatment and the 90 d modified Rankin scale (mRS) scores had no statistical differences between two groups (P>0.05).The proportions of the different infarction sizes had significant differences between two groups (P<0.05).The patients with large area cerebral infarction in hyperthyroidism group accounted for 51.2%, and it accounted for 27.5% in non-hyperthyroidism group.The incidence of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage of the patients in hyperthyroidism group was higher than that in non-hyperthyroidismin group (P< 0.05),but there was no statistical difference in the incidence of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SHA) between two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion:The patients with acute cerebral infarction complicated with hyperthyroidism could benefit from intravenous thrombolysis, without the increasing of incidence of spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) and SHA.

Objective:To investigate the effects of serum from smoking individuals with periodontitis in the process of Fusobocterium.Nucleatum(Fn)invading KB cells and the expression of matrixmetalloproteinase1(MMP1)of KB cells.Methods:Serum was prepared from 10 smokers with periodontitis(group Y),10 nonsmokers with periodontitis(group N)and 5 periodontal healthy nonsmokers(group H).Serum of 200,400 and 800 μl from the subjects was added to the model of Fn invading KB cells respectively and cultured for 24 hours,the cfu of cellinvaded bacteria was estimated by colony counting.MMP1 protein level in culture supernatant wasmeasured by ELISA.Results:In the 800 μl serum groups,the percentage of invaded cfu was 12.59 ±1.27,8.03 ±0.075 and 7.99±0.14 in group Y,N and H(P ＜0.05)respectively,the concentration(μg/L)of MMP1 in the cultrue supernatant of group Y,Nand H was 400.04 ±21.02,252.57 ±18.89 and 262.47 ±35.29(P ＜0.05)respectively.In the 200 μl and 400 μl serum groups,no significant difference was detected in invasion cfu of Fn in KB cells and MMP1 secrition of KB cells among Y,N and H groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Higher doses of smokingserum might play a role in the course of Fn invading KB cells and promote the expression of MMP1 secretion from KB cells.

Objective To investigate the serovar distribution of Chlamydia trachomatis (Ct) isolated from male patients with urethritis in sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinic.Methods Urine specimens were collected from male patients with urethritis in STD clinic at Hospital of Dermatology,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences between January 2013 and December 2013.Fluorescence-based quantitative PCR was performed to detect Ct DNA in these specimens.DNA was extracted from Ct-positive urine specimens,and nested PCR was conducted to amplify the VS1-VS2 regions of the outer membrane protein A (ompA) gene,followed by gene sequencing.The resulting sequences were aligned to reference sequences by the DNAStar5.0 software to determine Ct serovars.Results A total of 432 urine specimens were collected,and 33.1％ (143/432) of them were positive for Ct.The VS1-VS2 regions of the ompA gene were amplified from 127 out of the 143 Ct-positive specimens,but not from the other 16 specimens.Nine serovars were identified by gene sequencing among the 127 specimens,including serovar E (29 strains,22.83％),F (28 strains,22.05％),D (19 strains,14.96％),G (16 strains,12.60％),J (16 strains,12.60％),K (8 strains,6.30％),H (5 strains,3.94％),I (3 strains,2.36％) and B (3 strains,2.36％),and Ct serovars E,F,D,J and G accounted for 85.02％ among all the strains.Synonymous mutations were identified in 14 out of the 127 strains when compared with reference strains.Conclusions E,F,D and G serovars were the main Ct serovars in male patients with urethritis in STD clinic.The proportion of Ct serovar E strain was decreased,but that of serovar J strain was increased compared with 20 years ago.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of children's Pseudo-Bartter syndrome(PBS) in order to enhance physician's understanding of the disease.Methods Nine children with PBS who were admitted into Beijing Children's Hospital from Nov.2008 to Sep.2013 were selected as research subjects.A retrospective study was carried out with the clinical data and the outcome of treatment.Results 1.Clinical characteristics:there were 9 cases in this group including 5 male and 4 female.The patients' age ranged from 4 months to 8 years 8 months.The most common cause of children's PBS was gastrointestinal symptoms(such as diarrhea and vomiting) induced by respiratory tract infection (7/9 cases).Six patients had no striking clinical manifestations,and hypokalemia was found in the treatment of primary disease.2.Laboratory tests:All of the children in this group had hypokalemia and metabolic alkalosis in varying degrees.The activation of renin,angiotensin and aldosterone system increased.3.Therapy:all children were treated by giving potassium supplemental treatment or indomethacin therapy [1 mg/(kg · d),3 times orally].After treatment,all cases achieved clinical improvement and normal blood electrolytes.All patients' blood electrolytes remained normal for 5 to 7 days after stopping treatment.Conclusions 1.In China,the most common cause of children's PBS is gastrointestinal symptoms(such as diarrhea and vomiting) induced by respiratory tract infection.2.Except for clinical manifestations related to causes,patients have no significant clinical manifestations.Hypokalemia can be found in the treatment of primary disease.3.The biochemical results show low blood potassium chloride with metabolic alkalosis.In PBS renin,angiotensin and aldosterone concentration in blood are all elevated.4.Treatment of children's PBS mainly includes etiological treatment and electrolyte supplement therapy.The treatment effectiveness is good after etiological treatment and potassium supplement treatment.In the condition of controlling etiology and potassium supplementation,electrolytes mas return to normal in 2-4 days.
