1.Analysis of Monitoring Results on Cyclosporin A Plasma Concentration in Bone Marrow Transplantation Recipients

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of the effective blood concentration of cyclosporin A in patients after bone marrow transplantation.METHODS:By fluorescence polarization immunoassay(FPIA),the whole blood trough concentration of CsA in 14 patients after undergoing bone marrow transplantation was monitored for 216 times in total from day 1 to day 466,and the monitoring results were analyzed.RESULTS:The effective blood concentrations of CsA in patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia(CML),acute non lymphocytic leukemia(AML),acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL),Mediterranean disease(THAL),and pancytopenia were(50~450) ng?mL~(-1),(100~450) ng?mL~(-1),(100~350) ng?mL~(-1)(200~500) ng?mL~(-1),and(250~500) ng?mL~(-1),respectively.Rejection reaction appeared in 7 cases after bone marrow transplantation,with whole blood trough concentration of CsA ranged from 67.4 ng?mL~(-1) to 189.34 ng?mL_(-1) (125.44?39.56 ng?mL~(-1)on average).Adverse drug reaction appeared in 3 cases,with trough concentration of CsA ranged from 412.5 ng?mL~(-1) to 548.62 ng?mL~(-1)(481.39?68.08 ng?mL~(-1) on average).CONCLUSION:Timely monitoring of plasma concentration of CsA and modifying of the dosage regimen can avoid the occurrence of rejection reaction and adverse drug reaction,which is of great significance for patients' medication safety and efficacy.

3.Mechanism progress on enteric nervous system of acupuncture for slow transit constipation.

In recent years, according to the etiology and pathology researches of slow transit constipation (STC) STC is considered as a kind of "enteric neuropathy", indicating it is a kind of disease caused by abnormity of the enteric nervous system (ENS). Through reviewing the mechanism of acupuncture to regulate STC, it is found out that there is a close relationship between acupuncture regulating STC and ENS. Through various channels including ganglion cells, nerve plexus, neurotransmitter and TRPV1 (the primary sensory neurons receptor of the ENS) of the ENS, acupuncture is likely to make comprehensive adjustment on STC.

4.Effect of Electro-acupuncture and Banxia Xiexin Decoction on Motilin in Functional Dyspepsia Rats

【Objective】To observe the effect of electro-acupuncture(EA) and Banxia Xiexin Decoction(BXD) on motilin levels of functional dyspepsia(FD) rats.【Methods】 Sixty SD rats were randomized into normal control group,model group,mosapride citrate tablets(MCT,2.82 mg?kg-1?d-1) group,EA group,BXD(33g?kg-1?d-1) group,EA + BXD group.Except the normal control group,the rats with FD in other groups were induced by stimulating the rat tails with forceps clip. 5.Retrospective Analysis on Unqualified Prepared Slices of Chinese Crude Drug During Checking and Accep-tance of Drug Warehousing

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the general rule on checking and acceptance of drug warehousing of prepared slices of Chinese crude drugs.METHODS:The warehousing acceptance data of prepared slices of Chinese crude drugs during 2003-2007 in our hospital were sorted and the reasons for drug acceptance rejection were analyzed.RESULTS:Of the 5 228 batches of prepared slices of Chinese crude drugs checked before acceptance over 5 years,138(2.61%) were unacceptable.Most of the rejected batches were prepared processing slices of Chinese crude drugs.There were more than 30 factors resulted in the rejection.CONCLUSION:The key to ensure the quality of prepared slices of Chinese crude drugs is to improve their processing level.
6.The Feature of CT and MRI in the Patients with Eclamptic Encephalopathy

Objective To incestigate the fetures of cranial CT and MRI in the patients with eclamptic encephalopathy.Methods The CT and MRI findings of eight cases of eclamptic encephalopathy with the charge of CT,MRI appearance of FLAIR(fluid attenvated inversion-recovery),DWI(difussion weighted imaging),ADC(apparent diffusion coefficient)were analyzed retrospectively.Results Of eight patients,5 cases had abnormal finding in the cranial CT with showed symmetric plaque-like low-attenuated lesions in cortex and subcortical white matter of parietal and occipital lobes in six cases;eight cases had abnormal findings in the cranial MRI,the lesions were demonstrated as slightly hypointensity on T1WI and slightly hyperintensity on T2WI and remarkably hyperintensity on FLAIR,and iso or slightly hyperintensity on DWI,and remarkably hyperintensity on ADC.The lilateral parietal occipital lobes and cerebellar hemisphere and Brain Stem were the more common sites.Conclusions The only characteristric findings of eclamptic encephalopathy in MRI and CT imaging studies is vasogenic edema and reversible,especially in the subcortical white matter of the parietal and occipital lobes bilaterally,and cereballar hemisphere et al;especially cranial CT showed symmetric plaque like low-attenuated lesions of posterior brain;FLAIR,DWI and ADC of MRI can be helpful for early diagnosis and diffenential diagnosis,prognosis and curative effect of hypertensive encephalopathy.
7.Setting and configuration of our hospital's PACS workstation

This paper introduces the setting and configuration of our hospital's fPACS workstation, which is developed by the First Military Medical University. The fPAX video workstations are used as the terminals, including fPAX sampling workstation for video, picture and number, fPAX diagnosis workstation, fPAX clinician workstation and fPAX consultation center workstation. The workstation is equipped with an IBM4 2G host computer, an 80G fixed disc, an EMS memory more than 512M and a SONY 21″ pure flat display. Our experience of building PACS workstation proves that the reasonable setting and configuration is helpful to save the money and increase the efficiency.
8.Effect of 2,3,4′,5-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-?-D glucoside on proliferation and antioxidation of vascular smooth muscle cells

Aim To study the effect of 2,3,4′,5-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-?-D glucoside(TSG) on vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) proliferation induced by fetal bovine serum and explore the underlying mechanisms.Methods VSMCs were cultured from rat aorta using explant technique.VSMCs proliferation was analyzed by 5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine(Brdu) incorporation assay.Cell cycle phase distributions were determined by flow cytometry.The expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) was evaluated by Western blot analysis.The level of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS) was estimated through fluorescence assay.The intracellular activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),and glutathi one peroxidase(GSH-px) were measured using biochemical method.Results TSG in the experimental concentration 0.1~100 ?mol?L~-1 exhibited no apparent cytotoxocity.10 ?mol?L~-1 and 100 ?mol?L~-1 TSG significantly inhibited the proliferation of VSMCs induced by serum,cell cycle transition from G0/G1phase to S phase,PCNA expression in nucleus of VSMCs and level of intracellular ROS.100 ?mol?L~-1 TSG markedly increased the activities of SOD and GSH-px.Conclusions Certain concentration of TSG can prevent VSMCs proliferation effect mediated by serum;the mechanism about TSG effect may be associated with arresting G0/G1 to S progression,decreasing PCNA expression and improving the antioxidation of VSMCs.
9.Comparison of three mouse models infected with influenza virus by aerosol

Objective To compare and analyze the differences and characteristics of three strain mouse models in-fected by influenza virus aerosol inhalation, and provide the reference for choosing the appropriate infection model in the re-search of pathogenesis of influenza and the development of vaccines and drugs.Method C57BL/6, BALB/c and ICR mice were infected with A/Puerto Rico/8/34 (H1N1) virus strain by aerosol inhalation.The symptoms and body weight of mice were observed every day.At 3, 7, 14 days after infection, the mice were sacrificed.The lungs of mice were weighed, then virus assay and pathological observation were carried out.Results The three strains of mice were infected.The sur-vival rate in the C57BL/6 mice was lower than those in the BALB/c and ICR mice.The lung index and viral load of C57BL/6 mice were significantly higher than those of ICR mice ( P<0.05) at 3 days after infection.The pathological changes of C57BL/6 mice were also more obvious than other two strains.Compared with other two mouse strains, the weight recovery of BALB/c mice was the slowest.The survival rate in BALB/c mice was higher than that of C57BL/6 mice and lower than that of ICR mice.The lung index and viral load were not significantly different among the three strains of in-fected mice.The pathological changes among the three strains of infected mice were similar, but the degrees of pathological changes in the BALB/c mice were milder than in the C57BL/6 mice and worse than in the ICR mice.Compared with other two mouse strains, the process of disease is similar, but the body weight, mortality, lung index, viral load, and the micro-scopic pathological changes were lighter in the ICR mice than in the other two strain mice.Conclusions The three strain mouse models can be established by influenza virus aerosol inhalation, but showing different characteristics.Appropriate strain mice can be chosen to build model according to different research purpose in the experiment.
10.Clinical study of 149 patients with epileptic spasms

Objective To summary the clinical characteristics of epileptic spasm(ES)that is the unique form of seizures in childhood. Methods A total of 149 patients with ES who visited our hospital from May 2009 to June 2015 were collected. The documents of clinical data, treatment and outcome were analyzed retrospectively. The statistical analysis of some clinical characteristics and prognosis of patients were performed. Results There were 97(65.1%) male and 52 (34.9%) female in the 149 patients. The onset age of ES was from 30 days to 42 months (median value was 6 months) including 17 patients more than 12 months.The peak age of onset was 4-7 months. One hundred and forty-seven patients manifested clustered spasm. One pair of twins showed single spasm.Other types of seizure were seen before ES onset in 13 (8.7%) patients, and after ES onset in 42 (28.2%) patients.Eighty-three patients (55.7%) were diagnosed as West syndrome (WS). There were 46 patients (30.9%) with cryptogenic cause, 103 patients (69.1%) diagnosed with symptomatic epilepsy, in which 69 patients were with a clear cause. The proportions of developmental delay in the cryptogenic and symptomatic patients were 74.5% and 92.2% after the onset of the ES. The degree of developmental delay was linearly related to the course of ES. The hyperarrhythmia of electroencephalogram (EEG) background was seen in 122 patients (81.9%), and there was no significant difference in hyperarrhythmia between different etiology groups or different onset age groups. The short-term efficiency of topiramate evaluated within one month was 30.5% in 59 newly diagnosed patients. The short-term effective rate of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) was 80.3% in total 76 patients, but single ACTH treatment was associated with an increased recurrent rate. Conclusion ES is a highly age dependent seizure type that mainly found in WS,which typically follows a EEG hyperarrhythmia and developmental delay. The treatment of ES is difficult. ACTH combined with effective antiepileptic drugs (AEDS) is currently the most reasonable drug treatment program.
