OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of minocycline for acute retrograde pulpitis (ARP) and its ef fects on pain.METHODS:One hundred (100 teeth) ARP patients in Hospital of Qingdao Agriculture University and the Affiliated Hospital of Medical College during Jan.-Oct.in 2015 were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table,with 50 cases in each group (50 teeth).Control group was given root canal therapy of Formaldehyde cresol formocresol solution;observation group was given was given root canal therapy of Minocycline hydrochloride cream.Both groups were re checked 3 days later,and therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 5 month follow-up;pain score,IL-2 and TNF-α levels were ob served before and 3 d after treatment,and the occurrence of ADR was recorded in 2 groups.RESULTS:The total response rate of observation group was 98.00％,which was significantly higher than 86.00％ of control group,with statistical significance (P＜ 0.05).There was no statistical significance in percussion pain score,mobility score,IL-2 and TNF-αt levels between 2 groups before treatment (P＞0.05).Three days after treatment,percussion pain score,mobility score,IL-2 and TNF-α levels of 2 groups were significantly decreased;the observation group was significantly lower than the control group,with statistical significance (P＜ 0.05).There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups (P＞ 0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Minocycline shows significantly therapeutic efficacy for ARP,and can effectively improve pain symptoms with good safety.

Conclusion Enriched environment stimulus and hydrotherapy can promote the rehabilitation of neonatal rats with HIBD. The intervention effects of enriched environment and combined application of enriched environment stimulus and hydrotherapy is better than hydrotherapy. The change of NMDA receptor in hippocampus might be one of the mechanism.

Approximately one-quarter of ischemic stroke occurred in vertebrobasilar artery system. Atherosclerotic vertebrobasilar artery stenosis is one of the major causes of posterior circulation stroke. In addition to the conventional medical and surgical treatment, endovascular intervention has received more and more attention, and it has become the most promising therapeutic approach.

OBJECTIVE:To introduce coordinate localization method as a new pharmaceutical care method to provide reference for rational use of drug in cancer patients. METHODS:The way that clinical pharmacists assisted physicians in prescribing for cancer patients with coordinate localization method was interpreted combining with examples. RESULTS:Coordinate localization method was conducive to rational use of drug in cancer patients and pharmacist’s self- quality construction. CONCLUSION:Coordinate localization method can effectively assist the doctor to prescribe rationally.

Objective To explore the clinical diagnositic code(CDC)in ovarian endometrial cysts (OEC).Methods 218 cases of pelvic masses were investigated by use of symptoms,signs,B mode sonography and CA125.172 cases were diagnosed with OEC out of 218 cases,While 46 cases were ruled out by combination exploratory laparotomy and laparoscopy.Meanwhile we compared it with revisional american fertility society(r-AVS)including diagnosis and staging.Results The operation results of 218 cases were compared with the results of CDC and its Diagnositic Sensitiveness;Specificness;Positive predictive value;Negative predictive value;Diagnositic accordance rate as well as Diagnositic index of CDC were 96.4%,79.6%.93.0%,90.0%,91.7% and 73.4% respectively(χ2=127.818,P＜0.001).Further more,172 cases of OEC which diagnosed with CDC were further subdivided into three stages as 1,2,3 according to its score,mild;moderate;heavy and this stage category were compared with the category of AFS(Ⅰ-Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ),the Diagnositic accordance rate of two categories were 95.6%,95.6% and 83.0% respectively,No significant difference were found in Var.mitis and medium-sized(χ2=0,P＞0.05).but the Medium-sized and Gravis tape was significance(χ2=4.472,P＜0.05).Conclusion CDC has a better coincidence with operation in the diagnosis of OEC which can be used in the non-traumatic diagnosis and staging of OEC in clinic.

Object To distinguish the genuine Dioscorea polystachya Turcz. from other species of Dioscorea L. such as D. persimilis Prain et Burkill, D. japonica Thunb., and D. alata L., conventionally used in some localities by sequencing their nuclear ribosomal RNA subunit (18S rRNA), to provide mole cular evidences for the quality control of drugs of Dioscorea L. Methods By direct PCR sequencing to detect the homology of 18S rRNA sequence of different species of Dioscorea L.. Results The 18S rRNA gene sequence of genuine D. polystachya, D. persimilis and D. japonica showed identical length of 1810 bp, whereas that of D. alata was 1807 bp. Multiple sequence alignment of 18S rRNA gene showed that the homology was identical between D.persimilis and the genuine D. polystachya; but a difference of 99.89% with D. japonica and 97.51% with D. alata. Conclusion DNA sequencing can provide an accurate and reliable mean for the identification of the origin and genuineness of Dioscorea L..

Aim To investigate the protective effect of allicin against EA. hy926 endothelial cell injury in-duced by PM2. 5 and the possible mechanism. Meth-ods The samples of fine particulate matter ( PM2. 5 ) were collected and made into suspension. Different concentrations of PM2. 5 ( 20 , 200 , 400 mg · L-1 ) were added to EA. hy926 cell. The viability and apop-tosis of EA. hy926 cell, the protein levels of p-ERK1/2, Bax and Bcl-2 in the EA. hy926 cell, the contents of tumor necrosis factor-α( TNF-α) , interleukin-6 ( IL-6 ) , and malonaldehyde ( MDA ) , the activities of su-peroxide dismutase ( SOD ) and lactic dehydrogenase ( LDH) in the EA. hy926 cell culture supernatant were measured by MTT assay, flow cytometry, Western blot, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA ) and colorimetry, respectively. Allicin at different con-centrations(5,20,40 mg·L-1 ) or a specific inhibitor of ERK1/2 signaling pathway PD98059 ( 20 μmol · L-1 ) was added into the EA. hy926 cell to observe the effect of allicin. Results Compared with control group, PM2. 5 significantly increased the apoptosis, the contents of TNF-α, IL-6 and MDA, the activity of LDH, the protein levels of p-ERK1/2 and Bax/Bcl-2 ratio, but decreased the viability and SOD activity in the EA. hy926 cell(P<0. 05). Compared with PM2. 5 group, allicin significantly decreased the apoptosis, the contents of TNF-α, IL-6 and MDA, the activity of LDH, the protein levels of p-ERK1/2 and Bax/Bcl-2 ratio, but increased the viability and SOD activity in the EA. hy926 cell ( P <0. 05 ) . Conclusion Allicin displays a significant protective effect against EA. hy926 endothelial cell injury induced by PM2 . 5 and its mechanism may be related to the attenuations of in-flammation and oxidative stress via the inhibition of ERK1/2 pathway.

Objective To observe the effects of self-made Yicong-Shugan drink in the treatment of anxiety disorders before the college entrance examination.Methods Random number table was adopted for dividing 121 outpatients with anxiety disorders before the college entrance examination in the People's Hospital of Gaomi and Gaomi TCM Hospital since January 2007 to March 2011 into a treatment group with 69 cases,and a control group with 52 cases.The treatment group was treated with Yicong-Shugan Decoction,while the control group was given alprazolam.Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA),the Clinical Global Impression Scale (CGI) and Anxiety Rating Scale (SAS) were used to determine the clinical efficacy in both groups before treatment and 1,2,4,6 weeks after the treatment.Results ① In the control group after treatment,one week HAMA score (23.1 ±7.9) was significantly changed than before the treatment (31.1 ±7.6) (P＜0.05); whereas no significant change in the treatment group (P＜0.05).This demonstrated that alprazolam has a faster affection than Yicong-Shugan drink.② HAMA integral scores,CGI integral scores and SAS scores of both groups at 2,4,6 weeks after treatment were:HAMA integral score:(22.6 ± 7.5),(11.7 ± 5.3),(7.9 ± 5.4) in the treatment group,while (18.7 ±6.9),(13.8 ±6.7),(11.8 ±6.5) in the control group; CGI integral score:(3.4 ±0.7),(2.1 ±0.6),(1.8 ±0.7) in the treatment group,while (3.2 ±0.8),(1.8±0.5),and (1.6 ±0.6) in the control group; the SAS scores:(53.8±8.5),(38.7 ±9.6),(30.6 ±7.6) in the treatment group,while (50.2 ±8.9),(41.5 ±9.8),and (39.2 ±8.3) in the control group respectively.All these scores showed significant difference than those before the treatment in the same group (P＜0.01).HAMA and SAS scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group after the treatment (P＜0.01).This demonstrated that both alprazolam tablets and Yicong-Shugan drink have a good anxiolytic effect,but Yicong-Shuxin drink has a longer lasting effects.Conclusion Self made Yicong-Shugan drink can effectively improve the patient with college entrance examination anxiety disorder.Alprazolam tablets have a quicker effects than self-made Yicong-Shugan decoction,while Yicong-Shuxin decoction has a longer lasting effects than alprazolam.

Objective To observe the effect of treating chronic renal failure with self-made Huazhuo Baoyuan decoction.Methods 90 patients of chronic renal failure belonging to spleen and kidney yang deficiency and turbid toxic obstruction type diagnosed by TCM syndrome differentiation were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group according to the date of reception.40 cases in the control group were treated with conventional western medicine,which were low-salt high-quality low-protein diet; to correct acid-base balance and electrolyte imbalance; to correct anemia; adding amino acids; to control blood sugar in patients with history of diabetes; to control blood pressure in patients with hypertension.50 patients in the treatment group were additionally treated with self-made Huazhuo Baoyuan decoction on the basis of the control group.Such indexes as symptom score,serum creatinine (Scr),blood urea nitrogen (BUN),endogenous creatinine clearance rate (Ccr),hemoglobin (Hb),liver function:aspartate aminotransferase (AST),alanine aminotransferase (ALT) ; lipids:total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were observed before and after the treatment.Results After treatment,total effective rate was 88.0％ and 67.5％ in the treatment group and the control group respectively,the difference was statistically significant (P=0.012).The value of Scr (292.95± 85.95) μmol/L,BUN (22.69 ± 9.84) mmol/L,Ccr (22.69 ±9.84)rn1/min,CH(6.23 ± 0.57)mmol/L,TG(1.70± 0.22)mmol/L,HDL-C(1.45 ± 0.04)mmol/L,LDL-C(3.30 ±0.60) mmol/L showed significant difference after the treatment than before in the treatment group (P＜0.05 or P＜ 0.01).Compared with the control group of after treatment [Scr (336.63 ± 90.77)μmol/L,BUN(10.47 ±2.71) mmol/L,Ccr (19.47 ± 6.71) rnl/min,CH (7.21 ± 0.62) mmol/L,TG (2.30 ± 0.27) mmol/L,HDL-C (0.87 ±0.05)mmol/L,LDL-C (5.60±0.70)mmol/L],the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Self-made Huazhuo Baoyuan decoction was effective and safe to treat chronic renal failure.
