Objective To study the effect of automobile exhaust pollution saturation of carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) in traffic policemen. Methods 169 traffic policemen working outdoors were selected as a exposure group and 112 traffic policemen working indoors as control group in a traffic policemen detachment in Tangshan. Questionnaires and health examination were conducted in two groups. The carbon monoxide levels in the exhalation were measured in 281 traffic policemen by a micro_smokerlyzer and the corresponding saturation of carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) were read. Objective To investigate the comparison of the clinical treatment efficacy of propafenone and amiodarone in patients with paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia ( PSVT ) .Methods Retrospective a total of 89 patients with PSVT from June 2013 to June 2015 in our hospital were selected.According to the different administration methods, the patients were divided into the propafenone group of 46 cases and the amiodarone group of 43 cases.The changes of left ventricular end-systolic volume, left ventricular end-diastolic volume, ejection fraction, cardioversion success rate, mean cardioversion time, heart rate and side effects were compared.Results After treatment, the left ventricular end-systolic volume (52.31 ±8.34) mL/m2 , (54.28 ±7.23) mL/m2, left ventricular end-diastolic volume (47.31 ±8.56) mL/m2, (45.28 ±7.16) mL/m2 and ejection fraction (61.57 ± 0.76)%, (61.39 ±0.69)% were without significant differences.After treatment, the heart rates of the two groups were significantly decreased, the propafenone group ( 85.31 ±12.84 ) times/min, amiodarone group ( 87.26 ±11.95 ) times/min, and there were not significant differences.The recovery time of propafenone group was ( 19.34 ±4.76 ) , higher than the amiodarone group ( 25.69 ±6.09 ) ( P <0.05 ).But the success rate of cardioversion (52.17%) was lower than the amiodarone group (88.37%) (P<0.05).The side effect rates in the propafenone group (21.74%) was significantly higher than that in the amiodarone group ( 4.65%) ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion Propafenone and amiodarone cardioversion PSVT have achieved good results, but propafenone rapid onset, the average cardioversion time is short, which is only suitable for acute tachycardia and without serious organic heart disease patients.Amiodarone onset is slower,but the cardioversion success rate is higher.

AIM: To investigate effect of Wujibaifeng Pills (WJBFP) on osteoporosis of ovariectonmized (OVX) rat. METHODS: Ovariectonmized (OVX) rat model was established to evaluate osteoporosis of which parameters investigated included bone gla protein (BGP), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), bone minera density (BMD), Serum phosphorus and serum total calcium. RESULTS: WJBFP(1.0g/kg,2.0g/kg,4.0g/kg) could enhance the contents of serum estradiol and calcitonin, decrease serum BGP level in OVX rats; It had no effect on serum total calcium and ALP activities but increase level of serum phosphorus; It could enhance BMD, prevent OVX rat from decreasing bone loss without raising body weight; furthermore, it could inhibit both the uterus and adrenal gland atrophy. CONCLUSION: WJBFP might have better prevention on osteoporosis of ovariectionmized rats.

Objective To investigate the in vitro effects of KAAD-cyclopamine, a specific inhibitor of hedgehog signaling pathway, on the growth and apoptosis of human squamous cell carcinoma cell line A431. Methods A431 cells were cultured and treated with KAAD-cyclopamine(0.5, 1, 2, 5 μmol/L).Then, MTT assay was used to detect the proliferation of A431 cells, and light microscopy to observe cell morphology at different time points with a 24-hour interval. Flow cytometry was used to assess cell cycle,and annexin-V/propidium iodide double staining to evaluate the apoptosis in these cells after 48 hours of treatment with KAAD-cyclopamine. Results KAAD-cyclopamine of 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 μmol/L inhibited the proliferation of A431 cells by (7.0±2.3)%, (20.6±2.8)%, (48.3±3.4)% and (61.6±3.3)%, respectively (F = 49.92, P＜0.01 ). Furthermore, in the presence of KAAD-cyclopamine of 5 μmol/L, on day 1, 2, 3, 4,and 5 the proliferation of A431 cells was suppressed by (18.5±2.6)%, (56.1±3.7)%, (65.4±2.8)%,(71.2±1.9)% and (75.9±3.0)%, respectively, the difference was significant among these time points(F =16.32, P＜0.01 ). Statistical analysis showed that KAAD-cyclopamine downregulated the growth of A431 cells in a dose-and time-dependent manner (r = 0.91, 0.86, P＜0.01 and 0.05, respectively). Light microscopy revealed typical morphological changes of cell damage in A431 cells. KAAD-cyclopamine in creased the percentage of cells in G1 phase from (51.8±2.9)% to(76.2±1.8)% (F = 26.34, P＜0.01 ), the proportion of hypoploid cells from (1.7±0.3 )% to (8.7±0.2)% (F = 6.32, P＜0.05 ), which suggested that KAAD-cyclopamine could arrest A431 cells in G1 phase of the cell cycle. The apoptosis ratio in KAAD-cyclopamine-treated cells was significantly higher than that in the untreated control [ (46.2±2.8)% vs (18.5±3.1 )%, F = 32.01, P＜0.01 ]. Tomatidine treatment did not affect the proliferation or apoptosis of A431 cells (both P＞0.05).Conclusion KAAD-cyclopamine can markedly suppress the proliferation and induce apoptosis of A431 cells.

Objective To explore whether differences in high school student health exist between urban and suburban areas in Beijing.Metheds To make comparative analysis on the related data collected from the physical examinations conducted in the 19 districts in Beijing for senior high school admission and college admission in 2007.Results Differences in student health(including height,weight,eyesight)exist between urban and suburban areas in Beijing.There is significant difference in eyesight(t=2.321,P=0.033)between urban and suburban junior school graduates in Beijing.There are significant difierences in height(t=2.617,P=0.018)and the incidence of overweight(t=4.650,P=0.000)between urban and suburban boys junior school graduates.There is significant difference in height(t=3.792,P=0.001)between girls.Conclusions The health condition of high school students is being affected by the overloaded study tasks and unhealthy lifestyle.which needs to be intervened.

AIM:The method of HPLC was established for the analysis of fingerprint of Compound Danshen Tablet (Radix et Rhizoma Salvial miltiorrhizal,Radix et Rhizoma Notoginseng,Borneolum Syntheticum) and the determination of its main components. METHODS:The fingerprint chromatograms of liposoluble constituents of Compound Danshen Tablet were set up and its main components of 10 batches were determined. RESULTS:The fingerprint chromatograms were simulated with mean method and the analysis of different batches of Compound Danshen Tablet was made after the analysis of the fingerprint chromatograms from different groups of Compound Danshen Tablet. The similarities which were proved to be higher than 0.99 were calculated with the help of The Similarity Calculation Soft of Fingerprint Chromatography of Traditional Chinese Medicin. CONCLUSION:This method is accurate and provides a scientific basis for controlling the quality of Compound Danshen Tablet.

Patients with gastrointestinal diseases are more likely to exhibit malnutrition. Nutritional support is needed for those who are with malnutrition or at risk. Nutritional support can be categorized into enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition. With the widely application of nutritional support,more and more attention has been paid on its role in gastrointestinal diseases. It not only can improve the nutritional status,but also can alleviate the clinical symptoms to some extent and improve prognosis,which makes it a kind of extremely important treatment modality for gastrointestinal diseases. In this article,the advances in study on nutritional support of gastrointestinal diseases were reviewed.
