Objective To explore the biological effects of the luteinizing hormone receptor (LHR) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on the ovary of mice during peri-implantation. Methods The immunohistochemistry SABC method and image analysis were used to study the distribution and changes of the LHR and VEGF in Kunming mouse( n =28) ovary during estrous, pregnancy of day 1, day 4 and day 6 stage. Results The expression of LHR-immunoreactive substance and that of VEGF-immunoreactive substance had the same distribution and changes. Compared with other groups, the level of LHR-immunoreactive substance and that of VEGF-immunoreactive substance increased highly on the stroma cells around largergrowing follicles in estrous group ( P <0.05). Along with the pregnancy, the positive immunostaining for LHR and VEGF increased gradually on the granulosa lutein cells, and reached the highest level on day 6 of pregnancy. Positive immunostaining for LHR or VEGF on some endothelia and blood cells were observed in day 1 of pregnancy or estrous group respectively. Form day 1 of pregnancy, the theca cells had positive immunostaining for LHR. Conclusion The expression of LHR and VEGF is closely related with the process of follicle growing, ovulation and corpus luteum formation.

Objective to determine predictive factors of intestinal obstruction in acute myocardial infraction (AMI) patients after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and to establish predictive model. Methods A total of 1220 AMI patients underwent primary PCI in Jiangxi provincial people's hospitalfrom June2004 toJune 2014were retrospectively analyzed. And 1025 cases of them whichall met the inclusion and exclusion criteriawere randomlydivided by using random number generated by SPSS 17.0 into two cohorts:model derivation cohort (MDC) and model validation cohort (MVC).MDC was divided into intestinal obstruction group and control group.predictive factors were identified using univariable andmultivariable logistic regression analysis in MDC.Interger point values were assigned to each predictor based upon their coefficient in multivariable logistic regression model to establish scoring model. The summed scores of each case in MVC were calculated to test predictive ability of the model by ROC cure. Results Total of 1 025 patients,103 patients were diagnosed with different types of intestinal obstruction and the incidence of intestinal obstruction was 10.0%.Low position intestinal obstruction, incomplete intestinal obstruction and simple intestinal obstructionwere main characteristics in these patients.logistic regression analysis identified ten risk factorscan predict the appearance of intestinal obstruction:age > 65years old (OR =1.44,95% CI:1.26-4.63,P =0.000),diabetes mellitus (OR =3.37,95% CI:2.39-9.47,P =0.000),habitual constipation (OR =4.75,95 % CI:3.58-11.24,P =0.024),inferior and extensive anterior wall myocardial infarction (OR =2.16,95% CI:1.94-4.79,P =0.017),cardiac functiongrade≥3 class (Killip classification) (OR=2.86,95%CI:1.98-5.67,P=0.002),femoral approach (OR=2.76,95%CI:1.38-6.12,P=0.002),K+ <3.5 mmol/L (OR=1.86,95%CI:1.11-5.47,P =0.005),taking laxative (OR =3.59,95% CI:2.99-10.21,P =0.000),using morphine (OR =1.98,95% CI:1.07-3.12,P =0.021) and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) <60 mL · min-1 · 1.73m-2 (OR =1.19,95% CI:1.10-3.22,P =0.031).and areas under the ROC cure was 0.815 (95% CI:0.802-0.883,P =0.000) and indicating the accuracy of predicting intestinal obstruction. Conclusions age > 65 years old, diabetes mellitus, habitual constipation, inferior and extensive anterior parts of myocardial infarction, cardiac functiongrade ≥3class (Killip classification),femoral approach,K + <3.5mmol/L,taking laxative, using morphine and eGFR < 60 ml.min-1.1.73m2 were important predictive factors for intestinal obstruction in AMI patients after underwent 0 and the scoring model can predict accurately intestinal obstruction in such patients.

Objective To analyze the conding region of hantanvirus S gene and predict the structure of nucleoprotein for diagnostic antigen study. Methods RT-PCR was used to amplify the S gene of hantanvirus Hunan03 strain after designing specific primers. The amplification product was cloned into pGM-T vector and then the recombinant vector was transformed into E.coli TOP10,gene sequencing was carried out after blue-white selection and PCR screening for positive clones. The database of NCBI and Swiss-Prot/TrEMBL were used to predict and analyze the structure, biological characteristics and protein structures of S gene. Results The amplification product was about 1290 bp,the pGM-T/S vector was constructed and successfully sequenced, the whole length of the open reading frame (ORF) was composed of 1290 nucleotide residues, among them the GC content was 44.11% and the AT content was 55.89%,it was composed of 429 amino acids (20 kinds),the accession number of the sequence submitted to GenBank was JN712306,its homology of nucleotides to the 76-118 strain was 83% and the homology of amino acids was 98%,ten nonspecific variation sites were found. The grand average of hydropathicity was-0.405.There were three transmembrane domains and four non transmembrane domains in the secondary structure of nucleoprotein including 55% of helix structure,6.1% of sheet structure and 38.9% of loop structure. Conclusion The bioinformatics analysis of Hunan03 strain S gene might be important for provide the substructure data to reveal the significance of S gene characteristics on hemorrhagic fever renal syndrome (HFRS) prevention and control.

Primary hepatocytes are widely used in drug metabolism and toxicity assessment. As the culture of primary hepatocytes in vitro is a process of dedifferentiation, hepatocytes lose normal metabolic detoxification function gradually. The mechanism of hepatocyte dedifferentiation has been not clear so far. TFs play an important role in the dedifferentiation and non-parenchymal cells can maintain the function of hepatocytes in vitro. However, the current methods cannot be used in effective identification and quantitative analysis of a large number of TFs. In this paper, the mo-culture system (only primary hepatocytes) and co-culture system (primary hepatocytes and non-parenchymal cells) were established. The cells were cultured for 24 h, 48 h, 72 h as monolayer. The changes of TFs during the culture were obtained by TOT (Transcription factor response elements on tip) transcription factor enrichment method and mass spectrometry. A total of 219 TFs were identified in three individual replicates. The result revealed that up-regulated TFs were enriched in cell proliferation, death and immune response pathways, and down-regulated TFs were involved in metabolism pathway. The establishment of such culture-TFs identification system is of great significance to reveal the mechanism of primary hepatocyte dedifferentiation and crosstalk between hepatocytes and non-parenchymal cells.
