Objective To investigate the clinical significance of protein expression of Six1 in cervical cancer. Meth?ods The immunohistochemical (IHC) staining was applied to detect the expression of Six1 protein in normal cervical tis?sues (n=32), cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) tissues (n=49) and cervical cancer tissues (n=123). The localization of Six1 protein was detected in vitro cultured HeLa cells using immunofluorescence (IF) staining. Results The positive rate of Six1was significantly higher in cervical cancer (72.3%) than that of CIN tissues (28.6%) and normal cervical tissues (15.6%,χ2=13.118 and 10.058 respectively, P<0.01). There were significance differences in expression levels of Six1 protein be?tween different tumor sizes and metastasis of cervical cancer (P < 0.01). The Six1 protein showed positive signals in cyto?plasm and nucleoli in HeLa cells. Conclusion Six1 expression is associated with cervical cancer, which may be a potential biomarker for invasion and metastasis of cervical cancer.

Objective To identify the features of 1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-MRS) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) of the hippocampus.Methods 32 patients with COPD randomly selected and 30 normal controls were selected.1H-MRS of the hippocampus was performed given to on all the subjects on hippocampus.The ratios of NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr were determined.Results In the bilateral hippocampus, the NAA/Cr ratio in patients with COPD demonstrated lower than that in normal controls(t=4.963,P=0.007 and t=4.856,P=0.023).The Cho/Cr ratio in patients with COPD showed higher than that in normal controls, the differences was were statistically significant(t=3.469,P=0.013 and t=3.019,P=0.047) Conclusion Abnormal metabolism of neurons on the hippocampus in patients with COPD is showed.

Objective To investigate the clinical features , diagnosis and key technique points of laparoscopic partial adrenalectomy for small adrenal pheochromocytoma . Methods From Oct.2006 to Jun. 2011, clinical data of 32 cases with small adrenal pheochromocytoma (≤3.0 cm) were collected and retro-spectively analyzed .Hypertension was observed in 12 patients, whereas 20 patients presented with adrenal incidentaloma .Thirteen patients had a left adrenal neoplasm , eighteen patients had a right adrenal tumor , while one patients had bilateral tumors .The positive rate of plasma-free metanephrines ( MNs) and 24-hours urinary catecholamine (CA) in diagnosing small renal pheochromocytomas was 92.6%(25/27) and 81.3%(26/32) respectively.The main localization diagnosis included ultrasonography , 131I-MIBG, and CT or MRI, with positive rates of 71.9%(23/32), 93.8%(15/16) and 96.9%(31/32) respectively.All the laparoscopic adrenalectomies were performed retroperitoneally .During the surgery , the internal part of the adrenal gland closing to the retroperitoneum was dissected first , and the whole adrenal gland was resected completely. Results Partial adrenalectomy was performed for 30 cases and radical adrenalectomy for 2 ca-ses.All operations were successful without perioperative or postoperative complications .The maximum diame-ter of tumor was 1.7±0.2 (1.0-3.0) cm.Histopathological results showed that all the cases were benign pheochromocytoma.The operative time was 82 (40-210) min.The estimated blood loss was 57 (20-180) ml.No patient required blood transfusion . Conclusions Plasma-free MNs, 24-hours urinary CA and VMA are important qualitative examinations in detection of adrenal pheochromocytoma .Ultrasonography , CT,MRI, and 131 I-MIBG are important in the localization of adrenal tumors .Retroperitoneal laparascopic partial adrenalectomy is the preferred choice in the management of small adrenal pheochromocytoma .Dissecting the internal part of the adrenal gland closing to the retroperitoneum first and exploring the whole adrenal tissue are the key technique points during the operations .

Objective To modify the existing preparation instrument for medical patch material to realize its scale and automatic production.Methods The instrument had its shaking table improved and a cylindrical processing system added with comprehensive analysis on raw materials and kinds of process flows.A spreading and fixation mechanism for animal materials was placed in the cylindrical processing system,which had the holes for liquid inlet and outlet respectively on its top and bottom.The cylindrical processing system was fixed to the base of the shaking table.Results The instrument enhanced preparation efficiency significantly,and had the raw material utilization rate increased by 20％,product qualification rate raised by 35％,preparation cycle reduced by 33％ and total cost saved by 40％.Conclusion The instrument behaves well in adaptability to multi animals,preparation process,inter-assay difference,raw material utilization rate,product qualification rate and cost reduction,which is of great significance to promote the clinical application of medical biological patch.

Objective:To understand the clinical characteristics and prognosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) with skin-limited lesion.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on clinical characteristics and prognosis of 16 skin-limited LCH patients, out of 578 LCH patients who were hospitalized in Beijing Children′s Hospital during December 2013 to June 2018.Results:A total of 16 skin-limited LCH cases, accounted for 2.7% of all 578 cases, were included.Among which, sex ratio (male vs.female) was 1.28∶1.00.Median ages of skin eruption occurrence and of diagnosis of the disease were 3.5 months (3 days to 2 years and 5 months) and 6 months (2 months 14 days to 2 years and 8 months) in this group.Among the 16 cases, seborrheic dermatitis-like lesions(11 cases, 68.7%) was the most common, and the trunk was most frequently involved[75.0% (12 cases)]. Serine/threonine protein kinase gene V600E [ BRAF (p.V600E)] mutation was detected in pathological specimens from 10 skin-limi-ted cases, with 9 cases being positive.Plasma samples from 5 positive cases were further detected for BRAF (p.V600E) mutation, and 4 positive results were gained.Of all 16 patients, 11 cases (68.7%) were treated.Remission were achieved in 3-6 months from treatment start in patients treated whether according to the Histiocyte Society′s LCH-2009 protocol for 25 weeks(6 cases, 37.5%), or with topical mometasonefuroate for 3 months (3 cases, 18.8%). Two patients(12.5%) with solitary cutaneous lesions underwent excision biopsy (one face and one prepuce) and were considered to be in remission immediately after surgery.None of these patients suffered from the recurrence of the disease.The remaining 5 patients (31.3%) with skin-limited LCH were just evaluated regularly, and achieved remission in 3-6 months of commencing observation.Among these untreated patients, 1 with consistently positive BRAF (p.V600E) mutation in plasma had bone involvement in the 24 th month of assessment, and was then treated based on the Histiocyte Society′s LCH-2009 Protocol.No clinical or imageological evidence supporting disease progression was found on this patient.Median follow-up period was 32.8 months (2.9-63.9 months). Except one patient, none of the rest cases had active disease till follow-up ended.Two-year event free survival(EFS) of this research was (92.3± 7.4)%.There was no significant difference between EFS of treated group and that of observation group( χ2=1.250, P=0.264). Conclusions:Skin-limited LCH often occurs in infants and newborns, with strong heterogeneity in clinical manifestations, laboratory indicators, and pathogenesis.Seborrheic dermatitis-like lesions were the most common cutaneous type.The prognosis of the patients is excellent despite progressing into multisystem involvement can be seen in a few patients.

A long chain structure of DNA(polyaptamer)composed of multiple aptamer units was synthesized by rolling circle amplification and used for the construction of polyaptamer-doxorubicin system in the treatment of leukemia cells. It was found that the system was significantly more effective than monoaptamer in targeting and killing leukemia cells as it provided 35-fold enhanced binding affinity and 10-fold greater drug loading via multivalent effects. Drug release and cell viability also proved that the conjugates could gain entrance into the cells and rapidly release doxorubicin under the action of lysosome, leading to the tumoricidal effect.

By means of literature review and comparative study, the paper studied the organization and policy system of emergency drug administration in the U.S. As found by the authors, that the U.S. has established a horizontal and vertical organizational structure system centering on the Department of Health and Human Services. This system covers a series of policy and legal regulations, such as the research and development, procurement, storage, emergency use, and clinical treatment of emergency medical products. In consideration of the experience of emergency drug administration in the U.S. and problems existing in China's current system in command and management, departmental coordination, resource allocation, and legal system construction of emergency drug, it is suggested that China should establish a core organization for emergency drug command and management, and improve relevant legal system. China also needs to focus on enhancing capabilities of local medical emergency rescue and information transmission, in order to establish a coordinated, well-organized, resource-sharing system of drug emergency administration in the country.

The concept of "Bo" （搏） originates from The Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor （《黄帝内经》）. Its original meaning mostly refers to gathering and attacking， but in pulseology it reflects the potential of conflict and was widely used in the methods of taking pulse from zang-fu organs and yin and yang. This paper conducted a literature research on the concept and connotation of "Bo" （搏）， and summarized the seven meanings of it， including contention， intersection， stop， change， attachment， pulse， and pathological pulse. At the same time， the pathomechanism of "Bo" （搏） was explained and its four characteristics are summarized， including contention to transformation， concurrent transformation， latent pathogen gathering， and changes transforming to qi； the pathomechanism and locations of "Bo" （搏） were also summarized， including zang-fu organs， channels and collaterals， five body constituents， qi level， blood level， and other aspects， involving therapeutic methods like the opening and diffusing， expressing and tonifying， regulating balance. The concept and connotation of "Bo" （搏） were systematically studied and improved to provide new perspectives and ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of many modern intractable diseases.

Objective:To investigate the repair effect of electrospun gelatin polycaprolactone (GT/PCL) nanofiber aerogels (NFA) combined with cartilage extracellular matrix (ECM) for treatment of cartilage injuries in rabbits.Methods:Firstly, the GT/PCL electrospun membrane was prepared by electrospinning and was ground into the short fiber at high speed. ECM was extracted and separated from fresh bovine articular cartilage, which mixed with the short fiber solution (10 ∶1). Subsequently, it was used to prepared GT/PCL/ECM (NFA) three-dimensional scaffold. Finally, the physical characteristics of the three different scaffolds (GT/PCL, ECM and GT/PCL/ECM) were detected by scanning electron microscope and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer, including the composition, microstructure, swelling rate, porosity, compressive strength and degradation rates. And the biocompatibility research was getting on by co-culturing the scaffold with chondrocytes. Fifteen male New Zealand white rabbits were divided into blank control group (Group A, n=5), ECM group (group B, n=5) and composite scaffold(GT/PCL/ECM)group (Group C, n=5) according to the random number table. An injury model was established and three types of bio-scaffold materials were implanted into different groups. At 3 weeks, the cartilage repair was evaluated among groups by semi quantitative global MRI scoring system (WORMS). After the animals were killed, the knee joints of each group were scored by the international society for cartilage repair histological score (ICRs); the ICRs histological score was performedby HE staining and safranine green staining. Results:Three scaffolds showed a porous three-dimensional structure under the scanning electron microscope. FIRT showed that GT and PCL were introduced into the scaffolds successfully. The GT/PCL NAF was loose and unable to be characterized by materials science. The swelling rate of GT/PCL/ECM scaffold [(1, 092.0±32.2)%] was higher than that of ECM scaffold [(933.6±16.3)%] ( P<0.01). The porosity of GT/PCL/ECM scaffold [(92.3±2.3)%] was higher than that of ECM scaffold [(85.9±2.2)%] ( P<0.05). The compressive strength of ECM scaffold [(2.7±0.1)kPa] and of GT/PCL/ECM scaffold [(2.4±0.1)kPa] showed no statistical difference ( P>0.05). The degradation rate of ECM scaffold was higher than that of GT/PCL/ECM scaffold, but the difference was not statistically significant ( P>0.05). The cytotoxicity rating of GT/PCL/ECM scaffold was grade I, indicating that its biocompatibility was better. At 3 weeks, the MRI WORMS score in Group C [(49.0±11.4)points] was significantly higher than that in Group B [(40.0±6.7)points] and that in Group A [(24.0±6.5) points] ( P<0.05 or 0.01); the general ICRS score of group C was [(7.4±1.1) points], which was significantly higher than that of group B [(4.6±1.1)points] and group A [(3.0±1.2)points] ( P<0.01); The ICRS histological scores of group C and group B were [(6.8±0.8)points] and [(4.2±0.8)points] respectively compared with group A [(2.8±0.8)points] were significantly higher ( P<0.05 or 0.01). Conclusion:GT/PCL/ECM (NFA) scaffold has similar tissue structure to natural cartilage and is superior to traditional ECM scaffold in physical properties and biocompatibility, which provides a stable environment for chondrocyte adhesion and growth, promotes collagen regeneration, and thus accelerates the repair of cartilage injury.

Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics and outcomes of pediatric Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) with craniofacial bone involvement. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 145 pediatric LCH patients with craniofacial bone involvement registered at Beijing Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2007 to July 2013.The patients were divided into 2 groups: central nervous system risk craniofacial bone involvement group(CNS-RISK) and non-central nervous system risk craniofacial bone involvement group(non-CNS-RISK). All patients were assessed at 5 weeks, 11 weeks, 25 weeks and 52 weeks respectively after chemotherapy started, and 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 3 years after chemotherapy withdrawal.Statistics and related risk analysis was performed respectively. Results: A total of 145 craniofacial bone involved LCH cases were included, which was composed of 62.5% of 232 LCH cases hospitalized during the same period.The median age of these patients was 29 months, and median follow-up time period was 31 months.The most commonly involved craniofacial bone was parietal bone(78 cases, 53.8%), followed by temporal bone(59 cases, 40.7%) and frontal bone(57 cases, 39.3%). The onset age was significantly different (26 months vs.54 months, Z=-2.777, P<0.05) between CNS-RISK group (103 cases) and non-CNS-RISK group (42 cases). Moreover, compared with non-CNS-RISK group, CNS-RISK group showed higher ratio of patients classified as multisystem involvement of risk organs (72/103 cases, 69.9%)vs.(15/42 cases, 35.7%)(χ²=16.908, P<0.05), and a higher rate of overall relapse rate (45/103 cases, 43.7%) vs. (7/42 cases, 16.7%) (χ²=9.427, P<0.05), a lower survival rate of 3-year relapse-free survival rate [(66.9±5.7)% vs.(88.2±7.8)%, Z=2.205, P<0.05]. The incidence of diabetes insipidus was 13.7% in 232 LCH patients.Compared with patients without craniofacial bone involvement, patients with craniofacial bone involvement demonstrated a higher rate of diabetes insipidus [(27/145 cases, 18.6%) vs.(5/87 cases, 5.7%), χ²=7.579, P=0.006]. But the incidence of diabetes insipidus showed no statistical difference between CNS-RISK group and non-CNS-RISK group (21.3% and 11.9%, χ²=1.760, P=0.185). Diabetes insipidus was not found in single system LCH with Single-Bone CNS-RISK lesions.Till the end of follow-up, 1 out of 145 patients died.Among 145 patients, 5 cases had a single-bone CNS-RISK lesion.They received systemic chemotherapy.One showed reactivation, and none of them died.Multivariate analysis of variance showed that all the independent factors indicating diabetes insipidus included parietal bone, frontal bone, maxilla and mandible involvement(HR=2.697, 3.487, 5.425, all P<0.05), while independent factors indicating relapse included temporal bone, maxilla and mandible involvement(HR=3.712, 3.380, all P<0.05). Conclusions Among involved craniofacial bones, the parietal bone is most commonly involved.LCH occurs averagely at an earlier age in CNS-RISK group, along with lower 3-year relapse-free survival rate, high relapse rate, and more patients classified as multisystem LCH involvement of risk organs.The incidence of diabetes insipidus in children with craniofacial bone involvement with single system CNS-RISK is low.Patients with the parietal bone, frontal bone, maxilla and mandible involvement at diagnosis are at a increasing risk a significantly to develop DI during the course of disease.
