Objective To explore the administration of Dexmedetomidine combined with remifentanil for sedation and analgesia of ICU patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage after operation.Methods A total of 60 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage treated with hematoma removal under craniotomy were selected from May 2013 to June 2015.The patients were randomly (random number) divided into the Dexmedetomidine combined with remifentanil group (D + R, n =30), and Midazolam combined with remifentanil group (M + R, n =30).The blood pressure, respiration rate, oxygen saturation, heart rate, ICP (intracranial pressure), Ramsay sedation scores, and IL-1, and TNF-α levels were recorded after sedation and analgesia in ICU, and 6 h, 24 h, 48 h after operation (T0-T3).Results Compared with M +R group, the MAP, RR, HR, ICP, IL-1β, TNF-α, rate of reoperation for check bleeding, and mortality were significantly decreased in D + R group (P ＜ 0.05), and Ramsay sedation score was significantly increased at the same time (P ＜ 0.05) without excessive sedation and analgesia noticed.Conclusions Dexmedetomidine combined with remifentanil exhibits significant benefit in many respects including control of great fluctuations of blood pressure and intracranial pressure after craniotomy, reduce the production and release of inflammatory mediators, reduce the occurrence of rebleeding after operation.It shows good controllability and safety, it is an optimal method producing sedation and analgesia in ICU patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage after operation.

BACKGROUND:The articular cartilage has weak self-repair ability, mainly due to its lack of trophoblast cels in blood vessels and slow cel metabolism. Current treatment methods cannot restore the original function of the cartilage tissue, and cartilage tissue engineering in recent years has garnered increasing attention. OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of adipose-derived stem cels transfected with bone morphogenetic protein 14 combined with type I colagen sponge scaffold on the repair of articular cartilage injury in the knee of rabbits. METHODS: Adipose-derived stem cels were isolated and cultured from rabbit subcutaneous adipose tissue, and transfected with Ad-CMV-BMP-14-IRES-hrGFP-1. Type I colagen sponge scaffold with the transfected adipose-derived stem cels was used to repair articular cartilage injury in the knee of rabbits. Twelve weeks after operation, the articular tissue was taken for gross assessment and histological evaluation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The expressions of bone morphogenetic protein 14, type II colagen and Sox-9 were higher in cels transfected with bone morphogenetic protein 14 than untransfected ones. At 12 weeks after operation, adipose-derived stem cels transfected with bone morphogenetic protein 14 combined with type I colagen sponge scaffold had good repair effect on articular cartilage injuries, and the injured cartilage tissues were smooth and had good texture, color and integration junction; adipose-derived stem cels combined with type I colagen sponge scaffold could partialy repair the injured cartilage tissues that had similar color and texture to normal tissues, and there was a remarkable boundary between the repaired tissue and normal cartilage tissue;simple type I colagen sponge scaffold was almost colapsed, and no hyaline cartilage tissue formed. These findings indicate that transfection of bone morphogenetic protein 14 can strengthen the ability of adipose-derived stem cels dramaticaly to repair cartilage injuries.

AIM:To explore the effect of water extract propolis(WEP)from Taishan on apoptosis of human umbilical vascular endothelial cells(HUVECs)induced in vitro by tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?).METHODS:HUVECs were collect by digestion-perfusion and cultivated.TNF-? at concentration of 50 ?g/L was administrated to induce the apoptosis of HUVECs.After injury,HUVECs were treated with WEP at concentrations of 50,100,and 200 mg/L,respectively,for 24 h.Apoptosis was evaluated by terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated nick end labeling(TUNEL)and flow cytometry(FCM).RESULTS:Apoptosis index in injured group was significantly higher than that in control group,and decreased significantly after treating with WEP at concentrations of 50,100,and 200 mg/L,respectively(P

The three-dimensional organization and anastomoses of lymphatics in the rabbit stomach were demonstrated by scanning electron microscopy of lymphatic corrosion casts. Casting medium is the diluted low viscosity Mercox used for intraparenchymatous injection into the mucosal, submucosal, muscular and serous layers of the stomach. The lymphatic capillaries with blind ends were found in the deep mucosa and the lymphatic capillary networks and lymphatic plexus were observed in all the submucosal, muscular and serous layers. The distinct imprints which correspond to the bicuspid valves of lymphatics and the oval or fusiform impressions of the endothelial nuclei were seen on the casts.

Objective:To develop a mental status scale in non psychiatric settings (MSSNS) and to test its reliability and validity.Methods:Based on the common negative emotions in non psychiatric settings confirmed by nursing specialists and international scales, the MSSNS was constructed with psychological testing and statistical techniques. The reliability and validity were examined with 1 010 patients in non psychiatric settings.Results: The MSSNS consisted of 38 items. The reliability coefficients were 0.932 9 for internal consistence(Cronbach ?) and 0.894 0 for split half. Using the principle component analysis with varimax rotation, we got 4 factors: anxiety, depression, anger and loneliness. The correlation between MSSNS and related factors of HAD were 0.652 and 0.533 respectively. Conclusion: With its good reliability and validity, MSSNS is an ideal rating scale for total and convenient rating of patients' mental status in non psychiatric settings.

Objective To provide the evidence for working out the strategies for library service by investigating the characteristics of Internet users' information behaviors in medical college and university library. Methods The In-ternet users' information behaviors in electronic reading room of medical college and university library were recorded using management software and analyzed using the SPSS. Results Medical undergraduates were the major readers in electronic reading room of medical college and university library. Their Internet information behaviors were charac-terized by information searching which accounted for 55. 19%. The use of foreign databases, especially PubMed, was more than that of domestic databases. The time of readers to search and use information was centralized in their working hours. Conclusion Library should help its readers to know how to search the databases, how to make full use of Internet resources, and how to improve their learning efficiency in order to make sure that the readers can ef-fectively search and use the Internet information.
