Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of treating cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type (CSA) mainly by needling EX-B2 point & Tui na,and to investigate the advantage of needling EX-B2 point to treat CSA.Methods 60 patients with CSA were divided into a trial group (30cases) and a control group (30cases) by the sequence of visit.Patients in the trial group were treated by needling EX-B2 point combined with electro-acupuncture and Tui na,other patients in the control group were treated by Tui na,with 2 weeks as a therapeutic course.Then,the change of therapeutic effect,symptoms index,mono-symptomatic therapeutic effect and average blood flow velocities of vertebral artery and basilar artery were observed in both groups before and afer the treatment.Results The therapeutic effect constitution & cure rate showed significant differences between the two groups (P＜0.05),but there was no difference in total efficacy.Significant differences were found in both groups in symptoms index before and after treatment,and after the treatment the symptoms index was lower.There was significant difference between the two groups in symptoms index difference (P＜0.05),and the trial group was better.The mono-symptomatic therapeutic effect of vertigo,nausea and vomiting showed significant difference between the two groups (P＜0.05),and the trial group was better.No marked differences were observed in avenge blood flow velocities of vertebral artery and basilar artery between groups and in each group.Conclusion The therapeutic effect of CSA mainly treated by needling EX-B2 point & Tui na was much better than just treated by Tui na,and this method showed obvious advantage in relieving vertigo.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy of BO's abdominal acupuncture for obese type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).

METHODSSixty patients of obese T2DM were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and a medication group, 30 cases in each one. Patients in the medication group were treated with basic treatment combined with oral administration of regular antidiabetics, three weeks as one session. Patients in the acupuncture group, based on the medication group, were treated with abdominal acupuncture at Yinqiguiyuan [Zhongwan (CV 12), Xiawan (CV 10), Qihai (CV 6), Guanguan (CV 4)], Fusiguan [Huaroumen (ST 24), Wailing (TE 5)], Tianshu (ST 25), Daheng (SP 15), Qixue (KI 13), etc.; the treatment was given three times per week, 3 weeks as one session. The systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), body weight, waist circumference (WC), hip circumference, body mass index (BI) were observed before and after treatment in the two groups, and fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting insulin (FINS), 2-hours postprandial blood glucose by oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and insulin, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), HOMA-IR of insulin resistance index were calculated and adverge events were recorded.

RESULTSCompared before the treatment, SBP, WC, body weight, BMI, FPG, OG-TT2hBG, FINS, GTT2h insulin, HOMA-IR, TC and LDL-C in the acupuncture group were all significantly reduced (all P <0. 05), while FPG, OGTT2H insulin and TG were increased in the medication group (all P<0. 05)'. The differences of reducing SBP, WC, FPG, OGTT2H insulin, HOMA-IR, TC, TG and LDL-C were statistically significant between the two groups (all P<0. 05). The total effective rate was 93. 3% (28/30) in the acupuncture group, which was significantly superior to 23. 3% (7/30) in the medication group (P<0. 01).

CONCLUSIONBO's abdominal acupuncture has obvious clinical efficacy for obese type-2 diabetes mellitus, featuring in lowering blood pressure, reducing weight, decreasing blood glucose, im- proving insulin resistance and lowering lipid, which has no adverse effects and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.

Objective To understand the diabetic patients' attention towards their disease and promote the implement of self-management behaviors.Methods The questionnaire designed byThe new community care model in China-community care and management about chronic disease project was used to investigate 387 diabetic patients in two communities in Chengdu,understanding their attention situation to their disease and its' influenced factors.Results 56.1％(217/387) patients were aware of their own disease status.Univariate analysis showed that different communities (x2=40.858),age(x2=8.138),disease duration (x2=4.698),complications of diabetes (x2=31.643),special outpatient service (x2=7.181) had statistically significant influence on patients' attention towards their disease,P＜0.01 or ＜0.05.While Logistic regression analysis showed that different communities(Wald=35.953),complications of diabetes (Wald=20.068),special outpatient service (Wald=7.192) had statistically significant influence on patients' attention towards their disease.Conclusions The diabetic patients' attention towards their disease is insufficient in community,the factors include different communities,complications of diabetes,the medicare form,and it suggests that the community should focus on strengthening the patient's awareness of the disease situation,then effectively improve their self-management behavior.

Objective To investigate the roles of aberrant expression of c-myc,c-myb,and c-erbB-2 in the development of breast cancer and its clinical significance.Methods Immunohistochimical technique (S-P method)was used to detect the expression of c-myb,c-myc and c-erbB-2 protein in 150 cases of breast cancer and 30 cases of benign proliferative lesions.heir relation to clinical pathological parameters were analyzed.Results The protein expression levels of c-myc,c-myb,and c-erbB-2 in breast cancer were higher than those in benign proliferative lesions and the difference was significant(all P ＜0.05).Expression of c-myc protein had obvious relationship to histological grade,lymph nodes metastasis and pathological types(all P ＜ 0.05).Expression of c-myb protein related significantly to histological grade (P ＜ 0.05).c-erbB-2 was associated with the tumor size,grading,PR expression (all P ＜ 0.05).The association among the three kinds of genetic proteins was observed.Conclusion Expressions of oncogenes c-myc,c-myb,and c-erbB-2 proteins are higher in breast cancer and lower in benign proliferative lesions.The difference is significant.They are related to the grading and some other prognostic factors such as tumor size,pathologic types,PR expression and lymph node metastasis.The results suggest that these oncogenes are activated in the development of breast cancer and provoke cancerous cells multiplication.Expressions of oncogenes c-myc,c-myb and c-erbB-2 mightbe considered to be the prognostic indicators of breast cancer.

Objective In order to understand the students' experience and satisfaction in community nursing practice and the factors that influence them,to provide a basis for improving the quality of teaching in community practice.Methods The students were invited to compete the questionnaire that consisted of preceptors,the length of clinical practice time in hospital,practice items and satisfaction,opinions and harvest to community practice after completing 3-week practice in a designated community placement.Results 327 nursing undergraduates participated in the survey,and the average practice items were (9.7±2.0).The satisfaction of students was (3.89±0.58) points.There were significant differences of practice items and the scores among different preceptors,duration of students practice in hospital ahead,and the length of community conducting the practice teaching.There was a positive correlation between practice items and the satisfaction of students.Conclusions It is time to improve the quality of preceptors,strengthening the practice management in late stage,and promote students self-improvement.

Objective To understand the incidence and the clinicopathological characteristics of breast cancer in Bengbu area.Methods The clinicopathological datas of 446 cases of breast cancer were analyzed retrospectively,which included the clinical profile,tumor size,pathological grading,lymphatic metastasis,pTNM staging,hormonal receptor status and oncogene C-erbB-2 protein expression of some cases.Results Female was found in 99.6% of the patients.The average age was 49.76 years old.Most patients presented firstly by breast masses.The average time was 11.58 months from discovering the mass to final pathological diagnosis.The average longest diameter was 3.06cm.Invasive ductal carcinoma was found in 92.8%.Metastasis was found in 58.8%.Lymphatic metastasis rate was higher in extrinstic and posterior pectoralis monor.ER expression rate was 45.3% and PR,44.2%.The positive rate of C-erbB-2 was 81.4%.C-erbB-2 protein expression was found to be related to the status of ER and PR.Conclusion Breast cancer is more commonly found in middle and old women.Early discovery rate is lower and invasive carcinoma is diagnosed in most cases while metastasis is found in halof the cases.Carrying out breast cancer census is of important significance for prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
