Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
This investigation was made on 30 adult female rats weighing approximately 150~200g. during estrus as judged from vaginal smear examination. Ovaries which investigated with electron microscope, were fixed in 3% glutaraldehyde. Other ovaries were embeded in paraffin and examined under light microscope.Theca folliculi of large antral follicles were examined with electron microscope. Three kinds of theca cells were distinguished. They were secretory cell, fibroblast and smooth muscle cell. The secretory cell showed the characterastics of the steroidproducing cell, having smooth endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria and lipid droplets. The fibroblast contained rough endoplasmic reticulum, free ribosomes and mitochondria in the cytoplasm. The smooth muscle cell was located in the outer layer of theca folliculi, and its structural features were typical according to the criteria of Somlyo and Somlyo: (1) pinocytotic vesicles of the cytoplasmic membranes; (2) myofilaments in the cytoplasm; (3) dense bodies intimately related to the myofilaments; and (4) location of mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum at the nuclear poles. The ultrastructure of smooth muscle cell, its differentiation and other problems were discussed.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
The report of ultrastructure of dog ovarian follicle wall has not been seen yet. This investigation was made on 5 adult dogs in the estrus stage of the cycle and examined with electron microscope. There are granular cells, fibroblasts and secretory cells in the ovarian follicle wall, The typical smooth muscle cell is absent.

Objective To analyze the articles and citation published in the Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine from 2008 to 2010,in order to investigate the influence factors of impact factor (IF).Methods All articles published in the Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine covered by Chinese Medical Citation Index(CMCI) from 2008 to 2010 were searched and downloaded. Some article related attributions were manual added and their influences to IF were analyzed. Results A total of 1164 academic papers were published in the journal in 3 years, with 9.95 references per paper. The total citation was 1029 times, with 0.93 time per paper and 0.31 time per page.Among them,736 articles were not cited, accounting for 63.2%.Original articles, pure clinical articles had good citation output. For fund supporting, the citation of articles without fund was higher than those with fund. The articles on hematology, cardiology and gastroenterology accounted the most, while ICU,emergency and nephrology were the least internal medicine reported specialties.Although there exists citation difference among different subjects, for considering the absolute values,neurology/psychiatry (0.73 time per paper),cardiology (0.65 time per paper) and gastroenterology (0.54 time per paper) had better citation output, while hematology, basic research and rheumatology had no good performance to IF.Conclusion We should further strengthen acquisition and dissemination of excellent articles, reduce the number of non-cited paper, expand periodical visibility, and provide a quick and convenient way of literature reading.

A total of 189 stool samples from swine with diarrhea, collected in various porcine farms in the central region of China were tested for porcine enteric caliciviruses (PEC) member porcine sapoviruses (SaV) by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification using primers designed to detect porcine SaV. Selected amplicons were sequenced to establish phylogenetic relationships with reference strains. Porcine SaV were detected in 12.70% (24/189) of the samples. Phylogenetic studies based on partial RNA polymerase gene sequences indicated that the field strains of viruses isolated in China were closely related (75.6 88.3% identity) to the porcine SaV Cowden reference strain. These results provide evidence that caliciviruses of the genus sapovirus circulate in piglets in China, but further studies are needed to clarify their importance as cause of diarrhea. This is the first report of PEC in China.

Objective:To understand the incidence of diabetes and influencing factors, the trend of FPG change and risk for mortality in HIV-infected individuals after antiretroviral therapy (ART) in Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture (Dehong). Methods:The HIV/AIDS treatment database was collected from China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention. This retrospective cohort study was conducted in HIV-infected individuals with access to ART in Dehong during 2004-2020.The Cox proportional hazard regression model was used to analyze the incidence density of diabetes, the influencing factors and risk for mortality in HIV-infected individuals with access to ART, mixed linear effects model was used to analyze the trend of FPG change and predict FPG in those with different glucose metabolic status at baseline survey. Statistical analysis was performed using software SAS 9.4.Results:A total of 8 763 HIV-infected individuals were included, in whom 8 432 (96.2%) had no diabetes, 331 had diabetes. The incidence density of diabetes was 2.31/1 000 person years. Multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analysis revealed that 30- 59 years old, BMI ≥24.0 kg/m 2, Efavirenz (EFV) based initial treatment regimen and impaired fasting glucose (IFG) at baseline survey were significantly and positively associated with incidence of diabetes. Mixed effect model revealed that FPG was positively correlated with the duration of ART, age and baseline FPG. Suffering from diabetes was a risk factor for mortality in HIV-infected individuals both at baseline survey and during follow-up. Conclusions:The risk for diabetes increased in HIV-infected individuals who were 30-59 years old, baseline BMI ≥24.0 kg/m 2, received EFV based initial treatment, and IFG in HIV-infected individuals after antiretroviral therapy in Dehong, 2004-2020. It is important to pay close attention to their blood glucose, and patients with high blood glucose should receive treatment as early as possible.

ObjectiveTo analyze the prevalence of HCV antibody positive and associated factors among drug users in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan, and to provide scientific evidence for HCV prevention. MethodsQuestionnaire surveys and serological testing were conducted among 400 drug users continuously selected from four national AIDS sentinel surveillance in Dehong Prefecture between January and July during 2014‒2021. Results11 683 drug users were included. The prevalence of HCV antibody positive was 20.2% overall, and 14.9%, 20.1%, 22.4%, 19.8%, 22.5%, 20.6%, 24.5%, 19.0% from 2014 to 2021, respectively (trend Z=-3.78, P<0.001). Multivariable analysis indicated the following were independently associated with HCV antibody positive: that older age (OR=1.02, 95%CI: 1.02‒1.03), male (OR=1.70, 95%CI: 1.19‒2.42), unmarried (OR=1.64, 95%CI: 1.44‒1.87), divorced or widowed (OR=1.73, 95%CI: 1.48‒2.02), Jingpo ethnicity (OR=1.39, 95%CI: 1.19‒1.63), injection drug use (OR=15.46, 95%CI: 13.13‒18.12), and HIV infection(OR=4.96, 95%CI:4.12‒5.99). ConclusionThe prevalence of HCV antibody positive among drug users in Dehong Prefecture is high and increases with some fluctuations during 2014 to 2021, which highlights the need to develop interventions targeting this population.
