Objective To develop the public mood scale and test its reliability and validity, and explore the components construct of the public mood. Methods 423 college students responded to the inventory.Correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were applied to the data analysis. Results Public mood scale was consisted of two dimensions, positive emotions and negative emotions.Factor analysis indicated that the two factors explain 61.3% of the variance with factor loading ranging from 0.68 to 0.86;The Cronbach' s coefficients of positive and negative public mood were 0.81 and 0.76 respectively; Conffirmatory factor analysis indicated that the public mood scale had ideal structure validity.Joint factor analysis showed that public mood and personal mood were separated.Positive public mood had positive correlations with Big Five personalities, which were extraversion, agreeableness, responsibility and openness (r =0.22-0.33,P< 0.01),negative correlation was found between neuroticism and positive public mood(r=-0.25,P<0.01).Positive public mood had significant positive correlation with government satisfaction, economic development confidence and social stability(r=0.34-0.45,P<0.01),while they had significant negative correlations with negative public mood (r =-0.32--0.24,P< 0.01).Conclusion The public mood scale obtained in the present study has ideal validities and reliabilities and it is suitable to assess the public mood.

BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that dibutyl phthalate has certain toxicity to the reproductive system of male animals.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of dibutyl phthalate on secretion of rat ovarian granulose cells. METHODS:Ovarian granulosa cells from 25-day-old female Sprague-Dawley rats were cultured in vitro and exposed to different concentrations of dibutyl phthalate (0, 5, 20, 80μmol/L) for 24 hours. Estradiol and progesterone in ovarian granulosa cells were measured by the method of radio-immunity. Expression of the cytochrome P450aromatase and P450 side chain cleavage enzyme mRNA in granulosa cells were examined by real-time PCR.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The levels of estradiol and progesterone in granulosa cells decreased after exposure to dibutyl phthalate. With the increase of the dibutyl phthalate concentration, the expression of
P450arom and P450scc mRNA decreased gradual y. Dibutyl phthalate could induce reproductive dysfunction and toxicity to female rats.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the bacterial contamination status of ventilator systems and corresponding measurements.METHODS Bacterial culture samples of auxiliary equipments of 36 ventilators, including inlet and outlet tube, mask, humidifier, water collector, nebulizer, and air filter, were respectively collected. The culture results were reported to the infectious disease control office of the hospital. After improved the sterilization management, then repetition of bacterial culture was performed and the results were compared with the former.RESULTS The first cultural results demonstrated severe bacterial contamination and the positive rate of inlet tube, humidifer, water collector, nebulizer, and air filter was even higher than 50%.After countermeasures were conducted, the positive rate of second bacterial culture of all ventilator systems was significantly dropped to less than 5.5%.CONCLUSIONS Bacterial contamination of ventilator systems commonly exists which can be significantly diminished by improved conception of asepsis and standardized sterilization.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University founded an online hospital campus leveraging the Internet-plus environment. Supported by the offline hospital, this campus made full use of Internet features and advantages in its attempts to optimize the distribution of medical resources,to improve the accessibility of medical service, to reduce medical costs, and to expand the service coverage among others. Meanwhile, this online system, via interconnection with the hospital′s HIS system, achieved online medical insurance payment, prescriptions checking and drug delivery service.

BACKGROUND:In clinic, monosegmental pedicle screw fixation via the fractured vertebrae is commonly used for the treatment of thoracolumbar fracture. Studies have confirmed that the spinal stability is strengthened through bilateral pedicle screw fixation via fractured vertebrae, but some studies suggest that monosegmental pedicle screw fixation via fractured vertebrae can increase the spinal stability, and the conclusion lacks of the supports of biomechanics.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the biomechanical properties of monosegmental pedicle screws fixation via fractured vertebrae for thoracolumbar fracture.
METHODS:Eight cadavers’ thoracolumbar specimens (T11-L3) were provided by the Department of Anatomy, Yangzhou University School of Medicine. Saw was used to transect 2/3 of the vertebrae in order to make complete experimental thoracolumbar specimens. Eight specimens were divided into two group;beyond-fractured vertebrae fixation group and monosegmental fixation via fracture vertebrae group. The specimens in the two groups were treated with adjacent vertebral four screw fixation beyond fractured vertebrae and adjacent vertebral four screw fixation+monosegmental pedicle screw fixation via fractured vertebrae respectively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After thoracolumbar fracture, the differences between beyond fractured vertebrae fixation and monosegmental pedicle screw fixation via fractured vertebrae were as fol ows:load-strain relationship 12%, load-displacement relationship 11%, strength 18%, axial rigidity 11%, torsional mechanical properties 11%and pul out test 1.8%, and there were no significant differences between two groups (P<0.05). The biomechanics performance of monosegmental pedicle screw fixation via fractured vertebrae was more superior to that of pedicle screw fixation beyond the fracture vertebra for thoracolumbar fracture.

Objective:To analyze the clinical features of the recurrence of febrile seizures(FS), and observe the efficacy of levetiracetam(LEV)in preventing FS recurrence. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 101 cases of FS recurrence who were admitted to the Department of Neurology of our hospital from May 2017 to May 2020, and collected the information of the recurrence after discharge and adverse effects of LEV application.Cox proportional hazards model regression was applied to explore the relationship between FS recurrence and LEV prophylaxis. Results:Among 101 cases of recurrent FS, the section of 18-60 months(63/101)composed the dominant proportion, of which the episode of 18-36 months(40/101)took the biggest recurrence rate. All 101 recurrent FS cases occurred within 24 hours of fever-beginning time, and 74.3%(75/101)occurred within 3 hours of fever onset.39.6% cases(40/101)were non-high febrile seizures, of which 30.0%(12/40)even had a temperature ≤38°C at the onset.Ninty-five cases of FS were included in the retrospective cohort study.Thirty-eight cases(4 lost to follow-up)were treated with LEV, while 57 cases(7 lost to follow-up)were not treated with any anticonvulsant drugs. The recurrence rate in the prophylactic group was 17.6%(6/34), compared with 44.0%(22/50)in the control group. The recurrence rate of the prophylactic group was statistically lower than that of the control group( χ2=6.325, P=0.012). Cox regression analysis was used to explore the relationship between FS recurrence and various factors, suggesting LEV prophylaxis( OR=0.325, 95% CI 0.129-0.821)and family history of FS( OR=3.060, 95% CI 1.427-6.560)affect the recurrence of FS.Then FS family history was stratified, LEV prophylaxis still statistically reduced the recurrence of FS( OR=0.316, 95% CI 0.124-0.802). Conclusion:The risk of recurrence increases significantly after 18 months of the age.Besides, FS recurrence is relatively common in the initial episode of fever and in the stage of low fever. For children at months of high probability of recurrence, prophylactic drugs should be used in the initial episode of fever and in the stage of low fever.LEV prophylaxis therapy is effective, with mild adverse reactions.
