Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(2):258-259
Objective To investigate the value of blood glucose concentration in estimating risk stratification and early prognosis in patients with massive cerebral infarction. Methods 136 patients were divided into three groups according to the level of the blood glucose concentrations:group A with irritable hyperglycemia, group B with diabetes' hyperglycemia and group C with normal blood glucose. The early prognosis and the degree of neurologic impairment were observed and compared with three groups. Results The degree of neurologic impairment in group A was significantly higher than that in group C.The patients in group A had higher adverse prognosis than those in group C (P<0.05).No significance was occurred between group A and group B about the early prognosis and the degree of neurologic impairment(P>0.05).Conclusion The blood glucose level for the patients suffered from acute massive cerebral infarction is helpful to the diagnosis of disease situation, evaluation for prognosis and instruction for treatment.

It was proved that Phenolic alkaloids from Menisphermum dauricum (PAMD) has extensive pharmacological effects, manifested as affecting electrophysiology of the heart, resisting cardiac arrhythmia, inhibiting myocardial infarction, protecting nverves in cerebral ischemia, exerting resisting action in thrombogenesis, dementia, and tumor, and improving learning disorder, and so on. We made an overall sum up of researching progress on PAMD pharmaceutical actions in this article.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(12):-
Objective To observe the efficacy of ozone in the inactivation of f2 phage in water. Methods The concentration of ozone in water was measured by iodometry. During the experiment, the suspension of f2 phage was added in the ozonized water, at 5,15,30 min, the f2 phage inactivation rate was calculated. Results Under the same condition of ventilation,in the range of pH regulated in the drinking water sanitary standard, the effect of pH on the inactivation of f2 phage was not obvious, while the chromaticity of water could remarkably influence the inactivation of f2 phage. Conclusion The higher chromaticity of water can interfere the inactivation of f2 phage in water by ozone.

Hearts from eight adult dogs were perfused through both coronary arteries with methylmethacrylate. Small specimens cut out from the left ventricular wall were eroded in 50% HCL for 5-7 days. The replicas were studied under the SEM (S-450). The main results were outlined as follows: The subendocardial capillary plexus composed of varied shapes and orientation of meshes was present. The capillary network of the myocardial layers was consisted of many parallel capillaries and between them a variety of models of anastomoses, such as "H" "K" and "8" modes etc, were observed. In our findings, it was demonstrated that the arteriole and venule were distributed between the myocardial bundles and their direction was often perpendicular to the myocardial bundles. The postcapillary venules were poured into venule by the "ginger or turnip root" arrangement. The replicas of the Thebesian veins were proved in our specimens. The A-V shunting was not observed.

The structure, karyotype and behavior of synaptonemal complex (SC) in the spermatocytes of hedgehog (Erinaceus euroaaus dealbatus (insectivora)) were analyzed by light and electron microscopy with a modified surface spread preparation which involves the use of sodium dodecyl-sulphate (SDS) and silver staining. The lateral elements of the synaptonemal complex have a constant width of about 50 nm, the distance between the two lateral elements is about 100 nm. The relative length and arm rationale constant for each autosomal SC. The relative length and arm ratio constant for ea of the autosomal SCs are very similar to that of mitotic autosome. The X and Y chromosome axes have a clear morphological distinction from the autosomal SC. The axes of X and Y chromosome pair and form a SC of certain length at pachytene stage. The axes of unpaired X and Y chromosome are heteropycnotic and display various morphological complexities. But these differentiations in hedgehog are primary than in other mammalians, such as human and mice. At pachytene stage the X and Y chromosome display an extensive side-by-side pairing segment with decreasing length as meiotic prophase progressed.

This paper analyzed current problems and challenges facing hospitals in alarm management both abroad and at home. Based on a survey conducted on alarm management in hospitals, plus an analysis on different kinds of data interfaces and data exchange protocols of the medical equipment used in ICUs, a solution of alarm management is put forwarded which is based on alarm information integration and processing. It aims at improving medical equipment alarm management and reducing relevant adverse events.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(4):265-267
As the dressings currently used in clinic settings unflat shape in general, they can't be fitted completely on occiput, heel, elbow, knee and other body parts unflat. This paper developed one kind of foam dressing of special shape based on local anatomy. The foam dressing is waterproof and air permeable, it can cover the wound closely enough to prevent bacteria from invasion and infection. With a saturated absorption ratio of 1: 8 or higher, it can keep the wound clean and moisture by absorbing large amounts of wound inflammatory secretions and is almost completely permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide. Assuring safety and effect meanwhile, it has better outcomes than common dressings in the same application settings.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
The vascular architecture of the adult man testis was examined by using thevascular casting method combined with scanning electron microscopy. The circuitousmain branches of testicular artery ran radially from testicular porta towards testicu-lar free border in tunica vasculosa. The test(?)cular surface veins were accompaniedby the main branches of testicular artery and they converged from testicular circum-ference circuitously towards testicular porta. There were centripetal artery andvein as well as centrifugal artery and vein in the septula testis. The intertubularblood vessels and the peritubular capillary plexus were contained in the testicularlobules. The latter was made up of two capillary layers. The outer layer was capil-lary network interwined in fine capillaries. The inner layer was coarse capillarycircles. The interstitial capillary plexus was situated in interstitial tissue between theseminiferous tubules and compose of capillaries arising from the origin of someperitubular capillaries.

Aim To study the biotransformation of gly-cyrrhizin in rat intestine-liver. Methods The in situ vascularly perfused rat intestine-liver model was estab-lished with a validated LC-MS/MS method for assay of the model perfusate glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhetinic acid. Results The steady state intestinal and liver ex-traction ratios in the once-through perfused rat intes-tine-liver model for glycyrrhizin were ( 4. 2 ± 0. 6 )%and (28. 0 ± 3. 0)%, respectively; the first-order ab-sorption rate constant for glycyrrhizin in the recircula-tion of perfusate to the intestine model was ( 0. 33 ± 0. 06 ) min-1;after intraduodenal administration of gly-cyrrhizin,the main active metabolite in was the perfu-sate glycyrrhetinic acid, which was also found in intes-tinal luminal fluids. Conclusions The first-pass effi-cacy of glycyrrhizin is obvious and there is only a small amount of metabolite in the intestinal mucosa cells;gly-cyrrhizin is metabolized by gut bacteria or liver cells af-ter oral administration;the in situ vascularly perfused rat intestine-liver model can be used in glycyrrhizin pharmacokinetic studies.
