ObjectiveTo immunoscreen the mimic peptides of Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen from phage displayed 12-mer peptide library.MethodsSpecific IgG was purified from sera of patients with TB and used as the target to immunoscreen a phage random peptide library of 12 amino acids.Positive clones which were obtained after three rounds of biopanning were detected by ELISA and sequenced.The diagnostic value of the high frequent positive clones were observed by ELISA.Results After 3 rounds of immunoscreening,the eluted phages were enriched effectively.Six kinds of animo acid sequence were obtained from twelve positive phage clones.Sensitivity of the two high frequent positive clones were 71.4％ (A2)and 55.4％ (A7) respectively.ConclusionThe antigen-mimic peptide was successfully screened from 12 random phage peptide library and the peptides can be recognized by tuberculosis patients' polyclonal antibodies.

OBJECTIVE:To provide identification reference for the clinical use of Cinnabaris. METHODS:TCM micro-macro-scopical identification method and microscopic identification method were used. RESULTS:The micro-macroscopical characteristics were obtained:irregular granule or sheet block,different forms,wide bright red,opuque translucent with some luster; some sam-ples showed irregular lump with big shape,red scale on surface,dulling or gray-black. The were microscopic characteristics ob-tained:different forms of irregular granule,some sheet block,wide bright red,with some luster,occasionally with yellow gran-ules. CONCLUSIONS:The method for micro-macroscopical identification and microscopic identification of Cinnabaris is simple and convenient,and it can be used for the rapid verification of Cinnabaris.

Objective To increase externally-assigned response, improve energy response of CR39 and develop positive fast/thermal neutron personal dosimeter applicable for occupational exposure in oil and gas field logging by using pre-recoil layer.Methods The externally-assigned response of CR39 detector was improved through increasing the track density by using the α particle induced by the reaction of 10B(n,α) 7Li with the BN as pre-recoil layer, and the increase was vilified by using both Monte-Carlo simulation and experiment exposed by standard neutron source.Results Fast/thermal neutron personal dosimeter's neutron flux sensitivity and neutron dose equivalent sensitivity were 3.46 × 10-4 track per 0.013 and 52.8 mSv.According to theoretical derivation and experiment of standard 241 Am-Be neutron source, detecting efficiency and energy response of CR39 were effectively improved, and quantitative measurement of dose contributed by thermal neutron was realized.Conclusions CR39 fast/thermal neutron personal dosimeter of high sensitivity is applicable to oil and gas field logging environment and of potential development.

Objective To investigate the augmentation plating for femoral fractures and postoperative femoral nonunion. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted of 60 patients with femoral fracture or postoperative femoral nonunion who had been treated with augmentation plating from January 2008 to July 2015. They were 36 males and 24 females, aged from 15 to 79 years ( average, 43. 4 years ) . Of them, 20 cases suffered nonunion following intramedullary nailing of femoral shaft fracture, 18 nonunion following lateral plating for femoral distal or lower fracture, and 22 femoral distal or lower fracture complicated with comminuted fracture of medial column. An incision ranging from 6 to 10 cm was made around the fracture ends for augmentative plating for all the patients. Autogenous iliac bone graft was performed in patients with atrophic nonunion or ob-vious gap after reduction of the comminuted fracture. Operation time, intraoperative bleeding, healing time, complications, and functionary recovery of the affected knee were recorded. Results The operation time averaged 121. 5 min and the intraoperative bleeding 356. 3 mL. All the patients were followed up for 12 to 36 months ( average, 16. 9 months ) . All the fractures and nonunions healed after an average time of 4. 2 months ( from 3 to 4 months ) . The time for initial partial weight-bearing averaged 4. 5 weeks ( from 2 to 6 weeks ) and the time for initial full weight bearing 3. 3 months ( from 2 to 4 months ) . Evaluation according to the Karlstrom and Olerud criteria at the last follow-up revealed 29 excellent, 24 good and 7 fair cases, yielding an excellent and good rate of 88. 3％. No infection, loosening, bending or breaking of internal implants, or refracture was noted during follow-ups. Conclusion Augmentation plating through a small incision can lead to fine outcomes for femoral fractures and postoperative femoral nonunion, because it makes up the deficient stability of original in-ternal fixation, reduces the dislocated bone blocks and provides bone grafting to improve defective local bone structure and defective osteogenesis.

Objective To explore the nutritional risk factors in patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC), who have been accepted pegylated interferon (IFN) and ribavirin (RVB) therapy (PR). Methods A total of 175 CHC patients treated with PR were included in this study. Data of heights, body weights, and calculated body mass index (BMI) were recorded in patients. At the same time, patients were evaluated nutritional risk with Nutritional Risk Screen 2002 (NRS 2002), and divided into risk group (n=35) and non-risk group (n=140). Results There were significant differences in age, HCV genotype (1b type and not 1b), clinical type (CHC/cirrhosis), the length of treatment time and the tolerance degree for PR therapy between two groups (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR=16.068,β=2.777), IFN dosage (OR=3.096, β=1.130), RVB dosage (OR=3.382, β=1.219) and clinical type (OR=5.092, β=1.628) were nutritional risk factors. The HCV genotype (OR=0.384; β=-0.957) was protective factors for nutritional risk. Conclusion There is higher occurrence rate of nutritional risk for CHC patients accepted PR therapy. The dependant nutritional risk factors are advanced age, intolerance for PR therapy and cirrhosis associated CHC. HCV without genotypes 1b is not a nutritional risk factor.

Objective To investigate the status and clinical and epidemiological characteristics of human metapneumovirus (hMPV) and human bocavirus (HBoV) infections in children with acute respiratory tract infections (ARTIs) in Taiyuan. Methods A total of 549 children with ARTIs from November 2012 to May 2013 and November 2013 to May 2014 were recruited. The pharyngeal swab specimens were collected. The hMPV and HBoV were detected by using real-time PCR. Results In 549 children, 56 children (10.2%) were hMPV positive on swab specimens, 15 children (2.7%) were HBoV positive on swab specimens. The detection rates of hMPV and HBoV in November 2012 to May 2013 were 12.3%and 2.0%, respectively, and in November 2013 to May 2014 were 6.5%and 4.0%, respectively. The detection rate of hMPV was signiifcantly different between two periods (P<0.05), while the detection rate of HBoV has no signiifcant difference between two periods. In different months, the detection rate of hMPV and HBoV showed no signiifcant difference. The highest detection rates of hMPV and HBoV were all in children younger than two years old. The highest detection rate of hMPV was in children with asthmatic bronchitis or bronchiolitis. Conclusion In Taiyuan, during the monitoring periods, the ARITS are associated with childhood hMPV and HBoV infection especially in infants and toddlers. hMPV is one of the most important pathogens in infants and toddlers with wheezing.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effects of oxysophoridine (OSR) on primary cultured hippocampus neurons subjected to anoxia injury in neonatal rats and its mechanism.

METHODThe model of anoxia injury of hippocampus neurons in neonatal rats were primarily cultured in vitro by physical oxygen deficiency using glucose-free culture fluid. The survival rate of neurons, the leaking rate of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), the intracellular contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitric oxide (NO), the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) were measured. The intracellular free calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i) in hippocampus neurons were detected with Ca(2+)-sensitive dual wavelength fluorescence spectrophotometer.

RESULTNeuron death occurred in the anoxia injury model group with increase of LDH leaking rate, the contents of NO, MDA, intracellular [Ca2+] and the elevated activity of NOS while decreased activities of SOD and GSH-PX. The hippocampus neurons subjected to anoxia injury were alleviated in OSR (0.625, 5, 10 microg x L(-1)) group.

CONCLUSIONOSR has significant protective effects on hippocampus neurons subjected to anoxic injury. The mechanism of its protective effect may relate to its reduction of calcium overload and against oxidation injury.

Objective:To identify differences in association among visceral fat, body mass index, and waist circumference in Hans and Tibetans, and to investigate the associations between visceral adipose tissue and adipokine concentrations in the two ethnics.Methods:This is a mono-centric, cross-sectional observational study including 148 Hans and 150 Tibetans between 18 and 65 years old. The multivariate regression analysis was used in the study.Results:After adjustment of confounders, every 1 kg/m 2 increment of body mass index was coexisted with a larger increment of visceral adipose tissue in Han ethnic group than that in Tibetan [ β: 6.87(95% CI 4.25-9.49) vs 4.84(95% CI 2.57-7.11), P<0.01]. And increased waist circumference with 1 cm was accompanied by larger increment of visceral adipose tissue in Hans than in Tibetans [ β: 4.02(95% CI 3.15-4.89) vs 2.06(95% CI 1.75-3.44), P<0.01]. Tibetan ethnic group had higher levels of adiponectin and leptin than Han ethnic group [(57.06±32.52 vs 75.56±43.95) ng/ml, P<0.01; (98.55±100.46 vs 124.83±111.97) pg/ml, P=0.024]. After adjustment, significant association was documented between adiponectin levels and the presence of metabolic syndrome in Tibetans ( OR=0.97, 95% CI 0.95-0.99, P=0.007), whereas no association was observed in Hans ( OR=0.99, 95% CI 0.98-1.01, P=0.268). Conclusions:The ethnicity significantly affects the adipose distribution, with the same increase of body mass index or waist circumference, the Tibetans′ increase of visceral adipose tissue is less than that of Hans. The two ethnic groups may have their own unique metabolic characteristics.

Objective To discuss the feasibility and the curative effect of transurethral diverticulum section in the treatment of female urethral diverticulum.Method We retrospectively analyzed the transurethral diverticulum section surgeries of 11 adult female patients diagnosed as urethral diverticulum in our hospital from August 2012 to October 2016.The patients aged from 33 years old to 74 years old with an average age of 43.Their medical histories varied from 1 month to more than 40 years with an average histories of 80 months.Major symptoms included odynuria,frequent micturition,dyspareunia,perineum bearing-down feeling,repetitive urinary tract infection,dysuria,urinary stuttering,penis masses,etc.One patient underwent TVT-O.Two patients had urinary catheterization before the disease.During physical examination,cystic masses of different sizes could be touched on anterior vaginal walls with pain and secretion.Cystic lesions can be found by imaging examination.Transurethral diverticulum section was performed under general anesthesia.Using needle electrode by resectoscope,we made an annular incision in the direction of the vertical axis of the urethra,from the beginning of diverticulum ostium.The diverticulum completely communicated with the urethra.In 11 patients of transurethral endoscopic,the urethral sphincter and the diverticulum wall appeared morphological integrity and no damage.There was no liquid drained to de vagina.There was no urethral sphincter injury and no urethral vaginal leakage.We observed the operation time,bleeding volume,diverticulum position,the number of diverticulum,urethral sphincter intraoperative.We also observed the postoperative symptoms,short-term and long-term complications.Result All surgeries went on well,in which urethral diverticula were fully opened.The operation time was 30-45 minutes,average 35 minutes.The amount of bleeding within 5 ml.4 cases with multiple diverticulum,with 2 cases of diverticulum ostia were 2,2 cases of diverticulum ostia were 3.The other 7 cases with single diverticulum,diverticulum ostium was 1.The catheters were removed 2 weeks after the surgery,after that all patients can urinate normally.The follow-up time was 5-55 months (mean,24 months).All pre-surgical symptoms disappeared and no complication occurred,such as urethral stricture,urinary incontinence,urethro-vaginal fistula,etc.Conclusion Transurethral diverticulum section is a reliable treatment for female urethral diverticulum with positive curative effect and no obvious complication.
