Objective To evaluate the prevalence of hepatic steatosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and the impact of hepatic steatosis on the progress of fibrosis. Methods Five hundred and sixty two untreated CHB patients (405 males and 157 females) with an average age of 31.3 underwent liver biopsy from January to August 2007. On the day of liver biopsy, a questionnaire was completed and a blood sample was obtained for laboratory analysis. The degree of liver steatosis, necroinflammation and fibrosis was assessed; demographic information and clinical data including age, gender, body mass index (BMI), history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and HBeAg status, HBV DNA viral load were documented. Results In 562 patients, 102 (18. 2% ) had steatosis. Multivariate analysis demonstrated that liver steatosis was associated with the levels of TG, APO-B, UA, FSG, and higher BMI; and the progress of fibrosis was associated with high degree of hepatic steatosis and necroinflammation, age over 35 years, HBV DNA > 103 copies/L, high BMI and GGT. Conclusions The results show that obesity and dyslipidemia in CHB patients are associated with the hepatic steatosis, and the latter seems to be an important determinant for fibrosis.

Objective:To establish standard spatial brain template and ROIs template of 11C-methyl- N-2β-carbomethoxy-3β-(4-fluorophenyl)tropane (CFT) PET images for automated quantitative analysis of dopamine transporter (DAT) distribution. Methods:From May 2014 to December 2015, 11C-CFT PET and MRI T 1 brain images of 16 healthy volunteers (3 males, 13 females; age (63.3±6.9) years) from Huashan Hospital, Fudan University were co-registered and smoothed using statistical parametric mapping(SPM)5 software based on MATLAB to create a standard spatial brain template. The ROIs template was established by ScAnVp procedures. These templates were clinically verified by using 11C-CFT PET images of 37 healthy volunteers (23 males, 14 females; age (61.7±7.1) years), 32 Parkinson′s disease (PD) patients (20 males, 12 females; age (61.1±5.4) years), 10 multiple system atrophy with predominant parkinsonism (MSA-P) patients (7 males, 3 females; age (60.8±7.1) years) and 10 progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) patients (5 males, 5 females; age (58.4±6.1) years) from Huashan Hospital, Fudan University between January 2014 and March 2019. One-way analysis of variance was used to analyze data. Results:Based on the 11C-CFT PET images and MRI T 1 images of healthy volunteers, a standard spatial brain template for normalization of 11C-CFT PET images was created. The ROIs template was established including seven regions: bilateral caudate, anterior putamen, posterior putamen (along the long axis) and the occipital cortex. The ROIs template was accurately aligned in each verification group. The normal reference values of semi-quantitative DAT distribution in caudate, anterior putamen and posterior putamen were obtained (1.84±0.13, 2.18±0.16, 1.77±0.11). The semi-quantitative values of 11C-CFT uptake in each ROI in patients were significantly lower than those in healthy volunteers ( F values: 49.79-283.83, all P<0.05). Conclusion:The established brain templates with accurate spatial alignment for 11C-CFT image analysis can provide foundational tools for the application of 11C-CFT PET imaging in clinical practice and scientific research.

Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine 2021;32(3):37-40
Objectives To study the effect of cadmium (Cd) on the proliferation and apoptosis of mouse spermatocyte (GC-2 spd) cells and explore the underlying molecular mechanism. Methods GC-2 spd cells were cultured with 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 μM CdCl2, respectively, for 24 hours. The cell viability and IC50 of Cd were estimated based on CCK-8 data. The apoptosis of GC-2 spd cells and cellular concentration of ROS were analyzed by flow cytometry after treatment of the cells with different concentrations of CdCl2 (0, 5, 10 μM) for 24 hours. The expression levels of JNK/c-Jun signaling pathway regulatory proteins, pro-apoptotic factor Bax and anti-apoptotic factor Bcl-2, were determined by Western blot. Results Cd inhibited the proliferation of GC-2 spd cells with IC50 value of 12.99 μM, 95% CI [11.95, 14.00]. Exposure to 5 and 10 μM CaCl2 resulted in increases in apoptosis and cellular ROS generation in a dose-dependent manner, which was statistically significant compared with the control (P < 0.05). Although there was no difference in the expression level of c-Jun (P > 0.05), the phosphorylation level of JNK and c-Jun in Cd group was highly increased as compared to the control (P < 0.05). In addition, Cd exposure significantly increased the expression of Bax protein but decreased the expression Bcl-2 protein (P < 0.05). Conclusions Cadmium induces GC-2 spd cell apoptosis by increasing concentration of ROS and regulating the JNK/c-Jun signaling pathway.

Following the outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in 2003 and the outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in 2013, a new type of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) occurred at the end of 2019, which caused a global pandemic. Many infected people eventually died of multiple organ failure, among which kidney injury was one of the main complications of the virus. Kidney injury is of great significance for the condition judgment and prognosis evaluation of patients with new coronary pneumonia. Renin-Angiotensin-System (RAS), angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), cytokine storm, and extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer (CD147) are considered to be closely related to the mechanism of kidney injury caused by SARS-CoV-2.

Objective:To investigate the awareness rate of " 1+ 1+ 1" contracted residents in the outer suburbs of Shanghai on the extended prescription policy of the family doctor contract service, and to analyze the influencing factors. Methods:From March to May, 2021, the cluster random sampling method was used to select one community health service center in Fengxian district, Shanghai, and a smart voice telephone assistant survey was conducted among the contracted residents aged 18 and above in the area, to understand their awareness of the extended prescription policy. χ2 Test was used for single factor analysis on the influence of different factors on the policy awareness of the contracted residents, while a multivariate analysis was performed by binary logistic regression, presenting P<0.05 as statistically significant. Results:A total of 13 495 " 1+ 1+ 1" contracted residents were surveyed via phone calls. Their awareness rate of extended prescription policy was 67.5% (9 115/13 495), while those with higher awareness rates were patients with ≥2 chronic diseases (92.3%), patients with 1 chronic disease (88.5%) and those aged 81 and above (88.4%). Logistic regression analysis showed that age, marital status, the number of chronic diseases and signing duration were all independent factors influencing the awareness of extended prescription policy (all P<0.05), while whether the residents were key population groups presented no significant influence on the awareness of extended prescription policy ( P=0.431). Conclusions:The awareness rate of " 1+ 1+ 1" contracted residents in the outer suburbs of Shanghai to the extended prescription policy needs to be further improved and publicity should also be strengthened to extend the policy benefit coverage.

Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine 2023;34(5):42-46
Objective Based on the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) model and Environmental health indicators (EHIs), the comprehensive environmental health risk index of the Yangtze River economic belt is assessed to evaluate the comprehensive environmental health risk of the study area from 2016 to 2020. Methods Reference to the results of the Second National Pollution Source Census, a comprehensive environmental health risk assessment system was established. Twenty three representative indicators covering the four directions of economy, society, environment and health were selected. The above indicators were standardized using the range method, and each indicator was weighted using the entropy weight method. Results From 2016 to 2020, the comprehensive risk of environmental health in the Yangtze River Economic Belt showed a downward trend. The comprehensive health risk index decreased from 0.5450 to 0.3255, and the risk level has changed from "medium risk" to "low risk". Conclusion The overall environmental health of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been improving, but it is still necessary to note that with the economic development, the regional pressure risk index has been rising rapidly, and corresponding measures should be taken to maintain the balanced development of economic and environmental health.
