Objective To develop an intelligent assist order system for parenteral nutrition and embed it into hospital information system,so as to facilitate rational prescription of parenteral nutrition. Methods Comprehensive database, knowledge base and control system of parenteral nutrition orders were set up based on production rule.An intelligent assist order system for parenteral nutrition was designed and developed.Individual energy demand of patients were calculated automatically and compared with doctors' orders of parenteral nutrition.Cation concentration was calculated automatically and controlled for the stability of all-in-one parenteral nutrition admixture. Results This system achieved successful and fast calculation of individual energy demand,over-standard warning of total energy, the ratios of carbohydrates to lipids and non-protein calories to nitrogen, ion concentration, and liquid volume. It also controlled the cation concentration, thus avoiding demulsification. Conclusions The intelligent assist order system for parenteral nutrition can solve the problems of energy calculation and ensure the stability of all-in-one parenteral nutrition admixture. As a result,it can improve the utilization of parenteral nutrition in hospital.

Objective To investigate the effect of Helicobacter pylori ( Hp) infection on the growth and nutritional status in children. Methods A total of 174 children with Hp infections were collected from Jinhua Hospital of Zhejiang University during March 2010 to September 2012, and 100 healthy children were also enrolled as the controls. The differences in age and gender between Hp-infected group and control group were not significant. All Hp-infected children were given first-line anti-Hp therapy and followed-up for two years.t test, repeated measure ANOVA and LSD test were used to analyze the growth and nutritional status between Hp infected children and healthy controls, as well as between HP-infection eradication group and relapse group. Results Among 174 Hp-infected children, 2 were diagnosed as true precocious puberty, 6 abandoned treatment and 8 were lost to follow-up.Among 158 children who completed the study, Hp infection was eradicated in 128 (eradication group), and relapsed in 30 (relapse group). The height, weight, peripheral levels of hematoglobin ( Hb) , Albumin ( Alb) , blood urea nitrogen ( BUN) , Fe and Zn in 158 Hp-infected children at the baseline were significantly lower than those in the healthy control group (t=2.674, 1.657, 12.709, 3.662, 4.227, 4.210 and 14.820, all P <0.05).The height, weight, peripheral levels of Hb, Alb, BUN, Fe and Zn in eradication group were increased in 1-and 2-year of the follow-up (F=8.350, 14.998, 50.875, 37.584, 22.701, 8.295 and 41.791, all P<0.01), while there were no significant increase in the levels of Hb, Alb, BUN and Fe in the relapse group (F=1.826, 1.659, 2.613 and 2.495, all P>0.05).In the second year of the follow-up, the increases of Alb, BUN, Fe and Zn in eradication group were significantly higher than those in the relapse group ( t=7.86, 5.17, 8.80, 5.92, 2.17 and 7.28, all P <0.05).Conclusion Hp infection may affect the growth and nutritional status of children, and the eradication of Hp infection may help to improve the development and nutritional status of the children.

By skin prick test, three kinds of mite allergens(Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus,Dermatophagoides farinae,Blomia tropicalis)were tested in a group of asthma children in Jinhua area from Oct 2005 to Sep 2006.The pos-itive rate to allergen from D.pteronyssinus and D.farinae was 80.6% and 77.8% respectively, higher than that of Blomia tropicalis(61.1%)(?2=21.39,P

Objective:To evaluate the management effect of clinical pharmacist on antibiotics use during perioperative period of great saphenous varicose veins surgery. Methods:The medical records of all the patients undergoing simple great saphenous vein strip-ping, great saphenous vein high ligation plus simple stripping and saphenous vein ligation plus endovenous laser treatment between June and September in 2010 ( before the intervention) , 2011 ( after the intervention) and 2014 ( consolidation period) were selected, and the rationality of prophylactic use of antibiotics during perioperative period was evaluated. Results: After the management of clinical pharmacists, the preventive application of antibiotics during perioperative period was markedly improved in the indication, medicine va-riety choice, application and dosage, administration route, solvent and solvent dose, administration time, course of treatment and drug combination when compared with that before the intervention. Antibiotics use ratio, average hospitalization days, antibiotics ratio, drug ratio and infusion ratio were reduced obviously, which could be consolidated. Conclusion: The intervention of clinical pharmacists in antibiotics use during perioperative period of great saphenous varicose veins surgery improves the reasonable use ratio of antibiotics, and makes certain significance in the cost reduction for patients and the specification for hospital management.

Nowadays, more and more attention was attached to the problem of children′s growth and development. It is known that postnatal growth is mainly regulated by the conserved GH-IGF-1 axis that acts through endocrine and paracrine pathways. It is now well established that undernourished children harbor an altered microbiota, correlated with impaired growth. Moreover, many disorders of intestinal flora are always accompanied by growth retardation. These evidences show that there might be a certain relationship between intestinal flora and growth and development.Recent studies have demonstrated that intestinal flora may regulate the growth and development process through this axis, and GH-IGF-1 axis may also affect the composition and diversity of intestinal flora. This paper reviewes the bidirectional regulatory relationship between intestinal microbiota and the GH-IGF-1 axis to reveal the functional relationship between growth and development of children and GH-IGF-1 axis as well as the intestinal flora.By elucidating the influence of intestinal flora on growth and development, a new approach would be found for the application of therapeutic methods of microflora in the field of growth retardation in children.
