Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(8):1366-1367
Objective To observe the clinical effect of locking compression plate(LCP)to treat proximal humeral fractures. Methods From October.2006 to May.2008,22 proximal humeral fractures were treated with LCP (WEGO Co.Ltd,SANDONG).Results All of 22 patients were followed up for 8-22 monthes postoperatively. All fractures healed within the period of follow up without looseness of internal fixators. The average healing time was 12.6 weeks.According to Neer' s score,12 cases were excellent,8 cases were good, the other two were fair. The excellent and good rate put together was 90.9%.Conclusion Locking compression plate fixation is a simple and reliable procedure to treat proximal humeral fractures with satisfactory effects.

China Pharmacy 2015;(29):4112-4114
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of pegylated interferon α-2a(Peg-INFα-2a)combined with adefovir (ADV)in the treatment of HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB). METHODS:An open randomized controlled clinical trial was performed. According to random number table,70 patients with HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B were divided into observa-tion group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. Observation group received Peg-INF α-2a combined with ADV,and control group was treated with Peg-INF α-2a only. Therapeutic efficacy and safety evaluation were evaluated after 24 and 48 weeks of treatment. RESULTS:After 24 weeks of treatment,ALT normalization rate of observation group and control group were 51.43%and 25.71%,and HBV-DNA negative rate of 2 groups were 68.57% and 37.14% respectively, with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance between HBsAg negative rate and HBeAg negative rate (P>0.05). After 48 weeks of treatment,ALT normalization rate of observation group and control group were 77.14% and 54.29%,and HBeAg negative rate 54.29% and 31.43%,and HBV-DNA negative rate 82.86% and 42.86% respectively, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in HBsAg negative rate and ADR (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Peg-INFα-2a combined with ADV have good clinical efficacy in the treatment of HBeAg-positive CHB,and it is better than Peg-INFα-2a monotherapy and has less ADR.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychiatric condition that can occur in anyone who has experienced a life-threatening or violent event.Research into the underlying neurobiology has implicated dysregulation in multiple neurotransmitter systems including norepinephrine, serotonin and glutamate as well as the hypothalamic-pituitary axis.Although there was a tremendous growth in the understanding of PTSD in the past few years, the specific neurobiological underpinnings of PTSD wait for more explorations.

Depression is a serious mental disorder characterized by lasting anhedonia and anorexia .The pathophysiology of depression is complicated , which is related to many neuroendocrine disturbances .Increased levels of glucocorticoid hor-mones and hyperactivity of the hypothalamus pituitary adrenal ( HPA) axis are the most consistent and typical pathophysio-logical alternations in patients with major depression , which are possibly caused by altered functions of the receptor of glu-cocorticoid hormones , the glucocorticoid receptor ( GR) .Promoting the expression and function of GR and restoring the im-paired feedback inhibition of the HPA axis seem to be particularly important for the therapeutic efficacy of antidepressants . In this review, the role of GR in the development and resolution of depression is discussed .

Objective To investigate the properties of hind foot motion and it's changes in ankle or subtalar joint arthrodesis. Methods Eight fresh frozen adult leg-foot specimens were mounted in a coordinated system, a Steinmann pin was perforated across the calcaneus as a marker. The displacements of the marked points in the coordinated system were recorded when subtalar or ankle joint was fixed respectively. Through matrix translation and Euler equation, the angle of the calcaneus rotation were calculated, representing the motion of the subtalar and ankle joints in different condition, Statistical analysis were also taken between different conditions. Results Three dimensional (3-D) motion was observed in hind foot motion. The range of motion with ankle joint fixation was: inversion 15.99??2.81?, eversion 8.62??1.90?, dorsiflexion 3.70??1.00?, plantar flexion 5.87??1.39?, adduction 7.64??2.04?, and abduction 3.99??1.78?. When subtalar joint was fixed, they were: 7.13??1.07?, 5.52??0.85?, 17.09??2.87?, 30.75??5.04?, 10.77??1.56?, and 6.54??1.88? respectively. While they were 22.62??3.21?, 40.88??5.77?, 18.87??3.89?, 9.12??2.05?, 17.48??2.26? and 11.47??2.29?, when no joint was fixed. Arthrodeses of ankle or subtalar joint would affect the hindfoot motion significantly (P

Objective To establish the method of estimating the stature with the length of the thoracic segments of spine. Methods By applying technology of digital radiography(DR),the digital radiography of thoracic segments of 514 living subjects from the population of Han of Sichuan in China are obtained, their length of thoracic segments of spine also were measured from the radiograms and the body height of each subject was recorded.Linear regression analysis in grouping was done between the length of thoracic segments of spine and body height, and than the linear regression equations for stature estimation were produced based on the dimensions of thoracic segments. Results 7 regression equations were established from 7 groups(mixture between males and females, males, females, males between 20 and 45 years of age, males greater than 45 years of age, females between 20 and 45 years of age and females greater than 45 years of age). Each equation has been checked by analysis of variance of linear regression model and proved to be appropriate in statistic(P

Objective To investigate the relationship among IGF-II expression and cell proliferation and apoptosis in human colorectal adenocarcinoma. Methods 60 paraffin embedded samples of human colorectal adenocarcinomas were used in this study. IGF-ⅡmRNA expression was detected by in situ hybridization, proliferation cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) protein was measured by immunohistochemical staining and apoptosis was determined by TUNEL technology. Fifteen normal colorectal tissues were used as controls. Computerized image analysis system qualitatively analyzed the positive ratio of above three indices in the cancer and normal tissues. Results The percentage of IGF-ⅡmRNA expression was significantly higher in colorectal adenocarcinoma (39.64%?7.32%) than that in normal colorectal tissues (23.21%?4.10%) (P

Objective To study the clinical value of vaccum sealing drainage in plasma cell mastitis. Methods 59 patients with plasma cell mastitis admitted in our hospital were treated with vaccum sealing drainage (the experimental group) from Jan.2011 to Apr.2014.59 plasma cell mastitis patients were treated with traditional vaseline gauze drainage (the control group).Clinical data like hospitalization length, healing time, healing grade, scar size, dressing change frequency, one year recurrence rate and breast deformity were retrospectively analyzed. Results Patients treated with vaccum sealing drainage had shorter hospitalization length and healing time, lower one year recurrence rate and less breast deformity compared to patients treated with traditional Vaseline gauze drainage (P<0.01),while there was no significant difference in terms of healing grade (P>0.05).Conclusions Vaccum sealing drainage can significantly shorten the hospitalization time and incision healing time, reduce dressing change frequency and one year recurrence rate in patients with plasma cell mastitis.Because of the smaller scar caused by vaccum sealing drainage, the breast deformity is also less.It is of clinical value for plasma cell mastitis.
