Depression is a serious mental disorder characterized by lasting anhedonia and anorexia .The pathophysiology of depression is complicated , which is related to many neuroendocrine disturbances .Increased levels of glucocorticoid hor-mones and hyperactivity of the hypothalamus pituitary adrenal ( HPA) axis are the most consistent and typical pathophysio-logical alternations in patients with major depression , which are possibly caused by altered functions of the receptor of glu-cocorticoid hormones , the glucocorticoid receptor ( GR) .Promoting the expression and function of GR and restoring the im-paired feedback inhibition of the HPA axis seem to be particularly important for the therapeutic efficacy of antidepressants . In this review, the role of GR in the development and resolution of depression is discussed .

Objective Establish a method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of paraquat dichloride in organs in rat by UPLC-MS/MS and study the rat animal model poisoned by intragastric administration of paraquat dichloride to investigate the postmortem distribution of paraquat dichloride in poisoning death rat. Methods The rats were given an intragastric administration of 1/2LD50 Paraquat dichloride. The rats were dissected at 0.5h, 2h, 4h, 8h, 12h, 24h, 48h, 72h respectively after the intragastric administration. The specimens of -the heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, brain, muscle, bladder and stomach-were collected and analyzed immediately. Qualitative and quantitative analysis were performed by UPLC-MS/MS. Results Within 4h, stomach is the main distribution organ. The content of paraquat dichloride is the highest in stomache and relatively low in other organs. The concentration of organization except stomach changed little within 4h. The concentration of stomach has a sharp decline after 4h. The concentration in organs except stomach has a sharp rise after 4h. There is a significant difference(P<0.05) between each organs and brain. Conclusion There was a postmortem maldistribution of paraquat dichloride in poisoning death rats and the concentration in organs changes with time. The analysis method of UPLC-MS/MS and postmortem distribution of paraquat dichloride can be applied to the forensic identification of paraquat dichloride poisoning death and provide direction for delete this part toxicology analysis.

Objective To investigate the properties of hind foot motion and it's changes in ankle or subtalar joint arthrodesis. Methods Eight fresh frozen adult leg-foot specimens were mounted in a coordinated system, a Steinmann pin was perforated across the calcaneus as a marker. The displacements of the marked points in the coordinated system were recorded when subtalar or ankle joint was fixed respectively. Through matrix translation and Euler equation, the angle of the calcaneus rotation were calculated, representing the motion of the subtalar and ankle joints in different condition, Statistical analysis were also taken between different conditions. Results Three dimensional (3-D) motion was observed in hind foot motion. The range of motion with ankle joint fixation was: inversion 15.99??2.81?, eversion 8.62??1.90?, dorsiflexion 3.70??1.00?, plantar flexion 5.87??1.39?, adduction 7.64??2.04?, and abduction 3.99??1.78?. When subtalar joint was fixed, they were: 7.13??1.07?, 5.52??0.85?, 17.09??2.87?, 30.75??5.04?, 10.77??1.56?, and 6.54??1.88? respectively. While they were 22.62??3.21?, 40.88??5.77?, 18.87??3.89?, 9.12??2.05?, 17.48??2.26? and 11.47??2.29?, when no joint was fixed. Arthrodeses of ankle or subtalar joint would affect the hindfoot motion significantly (P

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2017;19(7):641-644
Proximal humerus fractures are clinically common upper limb injury, accounting for about 4% to 5% of all human fractures. At present, displaced proximal humerus fractures are often treated by locking plate fixation, but complications may follow.Of them,a locking screw piercing the humeral head has the highest incidence and is thus the most common reason for surgery.Such a screw tends to cause claws of the glenoid cavity, leading to severe pain. Therefore,it is an unavoidable challenge how to effectively prevent postoperative screw piercing for orthopedic surgeons who use locking plating to treat proximal humerus fractures. In this paper, the progress in research will be reviewed on the causes and management of screw perforation after locking plate fixation of proximal humerus fracture.
