1.The Application of Auditory Steady - State Responses to the Neonates Hearing Evaluation
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2009;17(4):344-346
Objective To explore the use of auditory steady-state response (ASSR) for threshold evaluation in neonates. Methods 30 neonates 60 ears) were included in the study who passed distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) screening and 45 neonates (78 ears) who failed DPOAE. The ASSR thresholds were evaluated screening, the significant difference was found between the ASSR thresholds at 250 Hz and the ABR thresholds (P <0.05), however the ASSR thresholds at 4 000 Hz and average thresholds were not different from the ABR thresholds (P>0.05). For the neonates whose DPOAE screening results were abnormal, the ASSR thresholds from 250 to 4 000 Hz and average thresholds were not significant different from the ABR thresholds respectively (P>0.05). olds were not correlated, but there were significant correlations at 2 000 and 4 000 Hz. For the neonates whose DPOAE screening results were abnormal, the ASSR thresholds and the ABR thresholds were significantly correlated at all the carrier frequencies. Conclusion Reliable and frequency specific results could be obtained by ASSR,so it could be a promising audiometry to evaluate the hearing of neonates.

3.Application of high resolution magnetic resonance imaging in locally advanced rectal cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2017;44(2):151-154
High resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HRMRI) has become an indispensable tool for multidisciplinary teams addressing locally advanced rectal cancer.Preoperative HRMRI is accurate in predicting tumor stage and poor prognostic features, such as circumferential resection margin and extramural venous invasion,et al.HRMRI is a precise diagnostic tool to select who may benefit from neo-adjuvant therapy and to avoid over treatment in those patients who can proceed directly to surgery, thus achieving better prognosis and quality of life for patients with locally advanced rectal cancer.
4.Orthodontic clinical application of mini-implant anchorage
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(05):-
In this paper, the mini-implant as anchorage for orthodontic is described by application in closing the space following teeth extraction, distal movement of molars, posterior teeth intrusion, anterior teeth intrusion, scissors bite solving, unilateral maxillary expansion, induced eruption, upright and mesial movement of molars. In this way,we introduce the clinical normal application of mini-implant anchorage for orthodontist.

DNA repair defects are classified as combined immunodeficiencies with associated or syndromic features, including 8 kinds of diseases with mutation of 9 pathogenic gene (ATM,MRE11,NBS1,BLM,RNF168,DNMT3B,ZBTB24,PMS2,MCM4),which are mainly autosomal recessive and monogenic inheritance. This article mainly reviews the pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, immunophenotype, and diagnosis of these diseases.

Objective To observe the effect of Tiaozhi granule in treatment of hyperlipoproteinemia. Methods Randomized, blind and control trial was applied. Two hundred and forty hyperlipoproteinemia patients were randomly assigned to observation group (120 cases) and control group (120 cases). Observation group was treated with Tiaozhi granule, and control group with Xuezhikang. Two groups were treated for 4 weeks. Results Observation group and control group were improved in blood fats spectrum, TXB2, 6-Keto-PGF1?, and observation group was superior to control group (P

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is one of the most serious public health problems, while the detailed mechanisms underlying its pathology remain obscure.MicroRNAs (miRNAs),which are single-stranded noncoding RNAs,are considered to be involved in various pathological processes, especially in T2DM.MiRNA has become a noval player in insulin resistance, islet dysfunction, and even in the diabetes related complications.

[Objective]To explore the cause and treatment of refractory nonunion of patella combined with handicapped joint function.[Method]Retrospective analysis was given to twenty-four patients diagnosed as patellar nonunion that had been admitted to our hospital from Jan 1992 to Jan 2006.The series included fifteen males and nine females with an average age of 36(range 12-71) years.Initial treatment of the original fractures was nonoperative in 3,cerclage with wiring or suture silk in 11,tension band wiring in 6 and modified tension band wiring in 4.All fractures progressed to symptomatic nonunion at an average of 18 months from original injury(range 5-32).All patients were given open reduction and internal fixation, which consisted of Nickel-Titanium patella concentrator(NT-PC) in 9,NT-PC combined with cannulated compression screws in 6,combined with Kirschner wire in 5 and tension band wiring in 4.[Result]Twenty-four patients were followed up with an average of 35(range 6-168) months. The time of bone union averaged 4.2(range 3-6) months. No bone block displacement, loosening or breakage of internal fixation happened.According to Xu Shaoting' s knee function scores, the results were excellent in 14 cases, good in 6 cases, fair in 3 cases and poor in 1 cases. The excellent and good rate was 83.3%.[Conclusion]Operative reconstruction of smooth joint surface, rigid internal fixation and early functional exercise are effective remedies to refractory nonunion of patella combined with handicapped joint function.

The study is designed to investigate if human interleukin 18 (hIL-18) cDNA expressed in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) cells could enhance the cytotoxicity of CD8+ T cells from the PBMC of the MFC-bearing patient and how to enhance it.Methods: A constructed eukaryotic expression vector for human IL-18 ,pcDNA3.1(-)/hIL-18, was used to transfect the NPC cell strain-SUNE cells. Then, the transfected SUNE cells were mix-cultured with CD8+ T cells which were separated from the PBMC of the patient with NPC, the cytotoxicity was measured by lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) releasing method, the expression for Perforin, Fas-L and Granzyme B were detected with the mix-cultures. Results: The eukaryotic expression vector could highly express hIL-18 in transfected SUNE cells and only traces of the protein exist in non-transfected SUNE cells. The concentration of hIL-18 in supernatant of the transfected SUNE cells was (85 ? 10) pg/ml, but less than 5 pg/ml of hIL-18 contained in supernatant of the non-transfected SUNE cells. The expression of hIL-18 in SUNE cells could enhance the cytotoxicity of CD8+ T cells from the NPC patient significantly( P
