3.Ethical Thinking on Doctor's selling Activities in Consulting Room
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(03):-
The paper expounds the ethics problems caused by doctor's selling activities in consulting room, which means the conflicts between doctors and patients, purchase pressure implied in seeking medical ad vice, disgrace to the aim of medical service etc. Furthermore puts forward some suggestions about strengthening management, stopping doctors' selling activities:1. to curb doctors' selling activities in consulting room; 2. to formulate health law and regulations, standardize medical behavior; 3. to deepen health reformation, improve investment mechanism.

[Objective]To explore the effect of continuous physiological osteogenic stress on the bone healing of canine iliopectineal crest.[Method]Ten adult mixed breed dogs without significant individual difference were made transverse fracture at bilateral iliopectineal crest 1.5 cm above the dome of acetabulum, which were fixed with ATMFS or steel plate respectively. The animals were sacrificed and specimens were procured at 2,4,6,8 and 12 weeks after operation.Samples from the fracture gaps were investigated by histology of HE and Masson staining, image pattern analysis of new bone formation.[Result]The formation of cartilaginous tissue and the maturity of cortical and trabecular bone and collagen fibers of ATMFS sides were earlier than that of steel sides obviously. There was significant difference of the integrated optical density (IOD) of new bone formation between two groups (P

Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2016;42(5):1014-1018
Objective:To investigate the application of photoplethysmogram in analyzing the fingertip pulse amplitude volume (PAV)to evaluate the endothelial function in diagnosing coronary heart disease, and to clarify its relationship with the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases. Methods:Total 409 patients with chest pain accepted coronary angiography (CAG)were selected and diveded into positive group (CAG+)(n=288)and negative group (CAG-) (n = 121)according to angiographic results.Fingertip photoplethysmogram was used to analyze the fingertip PAV by the way of applying endothelial function diagnostic after reactive ischemia, and the relationship between the PAV value and the risk factors of coronary heart diseases was analyzed, and the critical reference value of prediction index of coronary heart disease was determined. The risk factors such as age, gender, serum total cholesterol (TC ), low density lipoprotein (LDL ), high density lipoprotein (HDL ), non-HDL, serum triglyceride (TG),hypertension, diabetes, smoking, family history of coronary heart disease, body mass index (BMI)of the subjects in various groups were analyzed, and the relationship between the risk factors of coronary heart disease and PAV was analyzed by Logistic regression analysis. Results:The PAV of patients in CAG+group was significantly lower than that in CAG-group (P <0.01).The peak point of PAV was<1.37,if PAV<1.37 was used to predict the coronary heart disease, the predictive sensitivity, the specificity, the positive prediction and the negative prediction were 74.65%,44.63%, 76.24%, and 42.52%.The Logistic regression analysis showed that PAV was negatively associated with hypertension, smoking history,TG (OR= 1.476,OR=2.002, OR = 1.844;P < 0.01 ). Conclusion: PAV is associated with coronary heart disease and its risk factors (hypertension, smoking history,TG),and PAV=1.37 can be used as the peak point to predict the coronary heart disease.

AIM:To observe the effects of adiponectin on injury of the 3-4 d SD rat cardiomyocytes induced by the intervention of H2O2.METHODS:Primary cardiomyocytes were obtained from neonatal rat and were cultured by enzymatic digestion methods. The molecular marker was observed by ?-actin immunocytochemistry.Primary cultured 3-4 d cells were used in experiment, and the injury model was established by H2O2,and adiponectin and Ara-A were used for pre-treatment before cell culture. The morphological change of cardiomyocytes was observed under electron microscope. The contents of LDH,MDA and the activity of SOD were measured. The apoptosis of cardiomyocytes was detected by agarose gel electrophoresis and Annexin V/PI staining with flow cytometry.RESULTS:Adiponectin pretreatment significantly decreased the release of LDH(P

Objective To explore the feasibility to diagnose ureterolithiasis by 16-multidetector spiral computed tomography (16-MDCT) at different low doses based on body mass index (BMI).Methods A total of one hundred patients from 2009 Sep to 2010 Feb suspected of ureterolithiasis were randomly divided into 2 equal groups undergoing 16-MDCT at standard-dose (120 kV, 240 mA) or lowdose (120, 80, and 50 mA, respectively) based on the body mass index (BMI).Taking the clinical diagnosis as the standard, the sensitivity level, specificity level, and positive predictive value of these groups were compared. Results The dose length product ( DLP ) of the low-dose CT group and the average CT dose index (CTDIvol ) were 18.95 and 6.65 mGy, respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups ( t = 31.78, P < 0.01 ).The sensitivity level, specificity level, and positive predictive value of the low-dose group were 97.1% , 94.0% , and 94.3% , respectively, all not significantly different from those of the standard-dose groups (97.3% , 96.0% , and 97.3% , respectively,P >0.05).Conclusions It is feasible to diagnose ureterolithiasis by low-dose 16-MDCT based on BMI with the obtained image quality meeting the clinical diagnostic requirements.

Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(8):805-807
Objective To probe into the usage of statins in the patients with coronary artery disease in elderly patients. Methods From Jun 1,2009 to Mar 31,2009 in our hospital, 323 elderly outpatients with coronary artery disease were included in the investigation. The data were statistically analyzed. Results 62.2% of the patients used statins. The statins usage rates (44. 8% ,61.3% ,71.3% ) among three age groups(60 -69 years old,70- 79 years old, and > 80 years old)were significantly different. The rates of statins usage were significantly different between male and female groups. Conclusion The usage of statins as secondary prevention of coronary artery disease varies and there is urgent need to standardize the usage of statins according to the treatment guideline.

Objective To investigate the value of the clinical application of fetal testis for the treatment of male hypogonadism.Method We have performed the testicular transplantation to cure 6 patients suffered from hypogonadism with the fetal testis as donor. Results All patients had a significantly increased level of serum testosterone and the male secondary sexual characteristics and the sexual desire were improved. The size of testis was larger than before operation. Conclusion Testis transplantation with fetal testis as donor is an effective method to cure male hypogonadism and has great value of clinical application for its weak immunogenicity.
