Objective To investigate pulmonary embolism (PE) clinical characteristics, the first clinical symptoms, and risk factors. Methods Incidence trends, clinical manifestations, etiology and inducing factors of 459 PE cases were analyzed retrospectively. Results For women the two peak period of PE incidence are 20-25 years of age and 60-70 years of age, for men are 20-30 years and 60-70 years; For both men and women PE incidence is peaked at 40-65 years of age.Circular distribution statistics showed the peak incidence of PE falls from November 30 through April 4, roughly in seasons of winter and spring.Dyspnea, chest distress, were among the most common symptoms (64.04%).Pulmonary infarction trilogy accounted for only 8.50%.Surgery, trauma, fracture were the primary causes for PE (44.88%), with tumor accounting for 13.0%.The veins affected by DVT are plexus venosus leg muscle, femora popliteal vein, iliac veins, tibial and peroneal veins. Conclusions The incidence of PE has obvious central tendency of age, season.Clinical symptoms are varied and non-specific.Surgery, trauma and fractures are the primary cause of PE, tumor is an independent risk factor for PE.

Objective:
To study the expression and mechanism of long-chain non-coding RNA PVT1 in tumor by bioinformatics analysis and experimental verification, and to provide new ideas for the study of the pathogenesis of tumors.
Methods:
The expression of PVT1 in 14 common tumors was downloaded from starBase v2.0 public database, which also was verified by PVT1 RNA-in situ hybridization. The upstream transcription factors, the downstream target microRNA(miRNA) for PVT1 and the target genes for the target miRNAs were predicted and analyzed by using bioinformatics based on the database of UCSC Genome Browser, HMDD v2.0, miRTar Base, JASPAR databases.
Results:
StarBase database analysis and RNA in situ hybridization showed that PVT1 was highly expressed in kidney clear cell carcinoma and colon and rectal adenocarcinoma. PVT1 was regulated by the upstream transcription factors CREB1, Atf1, SP1, KLF5, STAT3, while it could control the expression of the downstream target miR-16. bcl-2, VEGFA, CCNE1, CCND1 and SHOC2 showed an interaction with the transcription factor of PVT1, which formed a feedback regulatory pathway.
Conclusions
PVT1 is highly expressed in kidney clear cell carcinoma and colon and rectal adenocarcinoma. The predictive analysis of bioinformatics demonstrates that transcription factor/PVT1/miR-16/target gene signal axon may be an important molecular mechanism, which provide a valuable clue for further functional mechanism research of long-chain non-coding RNA.

Background Currently, there has been a gradual increase in the incidence of mental diseases, becoming a problem that has attracted great concern of the general public.Zhuhai is a core city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the local government have attached great importance to the mental health of residents. The systematic study on the mental health has focused largely on pregnant women and medical workers, yet few are on the adult residents. Objective To investigate the prevalence and its influencing factors of anxiety and depression among adult residents in Zhuhai,so as to provide references for formulating targeted psychological intervention strategies. Methods From September 1 to December 1,2021,a cohort of 5 600 permanent residents aged 18 years and above in Zhuhai were selected through multistage sampling. All participants were subjected to complete Patients' Health Questionnaire Depression Scale-9 item(PHQ-9),Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale-7 item(GAD-7)and National Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire based on Wenjuanxing software. Then Logistic regression was employed to identify the factors associated with anxiety and depression among the residents. Results Among the 5 600 residents, depressive symptoms were detected in 842(15.04%)residents and anxiety symptoms in 579(10.34%)residents.Logistic regression analysis yielded that female gender(OR=1.488),living in Doumen district(OR=1.942),junior college/undergraduate level(OR=3.602),postgraduate and above(OR=5.904),irregular meal pattern(OR=3.320),comorbid chronic diseases(OR=3.244),disqualification of self-assessment(OR=3.414)and disqualification of mental health skill(OR=2.131)were risk factors for depression symptoms, whereas age≥25 years old(of all age groups OR<1),monthly per capita income>20 000 yuan(OR=0.438)and exercising≥3 times a week(OR=0.431)were protective factors for depression symptoms.Age of 25~34 years old(OR=2.051),living in Jinwan district(OR=1.729)or Doumen district(OR=1.901),junior college/undergraduate level(OR=2.955),postgraduate and above(OR=6.662),irregular meal pattern(OR=2.741),comorbid chronic diseases(OR=3.535),disqualification of self-assessment(OR=3.325)and disqualification of mental health skill(OR=1.838)were risk factors for anxiety symptoms, while monthly per capita income of 6 001~9 000 yuan(OR=0.665)and exercising≥3 times a week(OR=0.572)were protective factors for anxiety symptoms. Conclusion The mental health status of adult residents in Zhuhai is affected by various factors, including gender, age, region of residence, education level, meal pattern, exercise frequency and chronic diseases.

OBJECTIVE It's known that post-retrieval extinction but not extinction alone could erase fear memory. However, whether the coding pattern of original fear engrams is remod-eled or inhibited remains largely unclear. Here we try to investigate whether the coding pattern of memory engrams is altered during post-retrieval extinction induced memory updating.METHODS To answer the question,by using activity-depen-dent neuronal-tagging technology, neuronal trac-ing technique combined with optogenetic manipu-lation and in vivo calcium imaging,we identified the fear and extinction cells in PrL and BLA and investigated the dynamic encoding of memory engram ensembles in the PrL and BLA during CS versus US initiated memory updating.RESULTS We found increased reactivation of engram cells in the prelimbic cortex and basolat-eral amygdala during memory updating.More-over,conditioned stimulus and unconditioned stimulu sinitiated memory updating depend on the engram cells reactivation in the prelimbic cor-tex or basolateral amygdala respectively. Finally,we found memory updating causes increased overlapping between fear and extinction cells and the original fear engrams encoding was altered during memory updating.CONCLUSION Our data provide the first evidence to show the overlapping ensembles between fear and extinc-tion cells and functional reorganization of original engrams underlying conditioned stimulus and unconditioned stimulus initiated memory updating.
