Objective To investigate and compare the perception of communication difficulties by mainstreaming students with hearing impairment and that of their peers. Methods The children’s version of the Abbreviated Profile of Hearing Aid Benefit (APHAB) was used to measure perceived communication difficulty in various daily situations. Results There was significant difference between the perception of mainstreaming students and that of their peers for the background noise(BN) subscale questions. Conclusion In order to improve the communication ability of the students with hearing impairment, it is critical to educate one of their important communication partners—their peers, about the hearing loss and its effect on communication, especially under the situation of background noise.

Objective To investigate the perception of communication difficulties of children with hearing impairment and their parents. Methods Using the abbreviated profile of hearing aid benefit (APHAB),perception of communication difficulty in daily situations of the children with hearing impairment and their parents was measured, then the scores were compaired. Results There was no significant difference in perception of communication difficulty between the children and their parents. On problems on ease of communication(EC) and aversiveness(AV), there was difference in the perception of communication difficulty between the children who did not wear hearing aids and their parents. Conclusion It's critical to teach the parents knowledge about hearing loss to reduce their communication difficuty.

Objective:To analyze the curative effect of ribavirin combined with dioctahedral-smectite(smecta,DS) on ro-tavirus enteritis. Methods:Totally 168 children with rotavirus enteritis, aged from 6 month to 2 years, were randomly divided into 4 groups (3 treatment groups and a control group). All cases were treated with liquid infusion and other supportive treatment. Group A(n = 41) was treated with ribavirin intravenous injection, group B(n = 40) was treated with DS orally, and group C(n = 45) was treated with ribavirin and DS. The effective rate, symptom amelioration time, average hospital stay and side effects were analyzed. Results:Compared with control group,3 treatment groups had higher effective rate and shorter average hospital stay and symptom amelioration time(P

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(08):-
Objective: To study the clinical features of depressive patients consulting neurological clinics in a general hospital and the therapeutic effect of Paroxetine in treatment of depression in this group Methods: 46 patients with depressive symptoms were collected consecutively, 24 among them were treated by Paroxetine The changes of scores of HAMD and Clinical Global Impression(CGI) before and after treatment were used to assess the therapeutic effect Results: Patients complained a variety of somatic symptoms involved nearly all systems, After four weeks’treatment of Paroxetine, both HAMD and CGI scores decreased dramatically The change of HAMD became significant at the end of the first week of treatment Conclusion: Depressive patients consulting general hospital have many somatic complaints Paroxetine has both anxioletic and antidepressant effects in this group of patients

Objective To summarize the value of early mechanical ventilation plus continuous vacuum suction in treatment of serious pulmonary contusion. Methods Forty-eight cases of severe pulmonary contusion were assigned to mechanical ventilation plus continuous vacuum suction (observation group,n =20) and mechanical ventilation plus discontinuous vacuum suction (control group,n =28)according to the random number table.Modes of mechanical ventilation were synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation (SIMV),pressure support ventilation (PSV),and positive and expiratory pressure (PEEP).Changes in blood gas analysis, mechanical ventilation time, and associated complications were compared between groups. Results At ventilation time of 6 and 24 hours,PaO2 in observation group was (100.36 ± 5.90) mmHg and (105.34 ± 7.40) mmHg respectively, with significant differences from (75.36 ± 8.95) mmHg and (76.36 ± 8.35) mmHg in control group (P < 0.01).At ventilation time of 24 hours,PaO2/FiO2 was (283.50 ± 15.20) mmHg in observation group and (201.50 ± 10.20) mmHg in control group (P <0.01).Mechanical ventilation time and PEEP at ventilation time of 48 hours in observation group was (3.2 ± 1.1) days and (4.5 ± 2.3) cmH2 O,with significant differences from (6.5 ± 2.8) days and (8.5 ± 2.5) cmH2O in control group (P < 0.01).Associated complications of the two groups revealed no significant difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion Early mechanical ventilation with sustained vacuum suction is effective to keep airway clear, improve oxygenation index, decrease PEEP level, and control the duration of mechanical ventilation, but may not lower the risks of ventilator-associated pneumonia and pulmonary atelectasis.

Two regression models, based on panel data over the period of 2000-2011, are built and used to analyze what factors determine China's exports of primary and semi-finished products of traditional Chinese medicine to ASEAN. The results indicate that, China GDP, the ratio of ASEAN to China GDP per capita, average export price, the ratio of state-owned assets to total assets, have a significant positive influence on the export volumes of primary products of Chinese medicine. At the same time, RMB appreciation, the ratio of three kinds of foreign-invested assets to total assets, China-ASEAN Early Harvest Program, ASEAN-China Free Trade Area have a significant negative influence. In respect of the export volumes of semi-finished products of Chinese medicine, the significant influential factors are ASEAN GDP and the ratio of ASEAN to China GDP per capita. The former is positive and the latter is negative. In order to optimize the commodity composition of experts, it is needed to increase export volumes of both primary and semi-finished products of Chinese medicine. According to the analysis above, some proposals are put forward, such as, improving the performance of foreign capital, playing an exemplary and leading role in technological innovation by state-owned enterprises, taking advantage of bargaining power of suppliers, increasing outward foreign direct investment.
