Objective To investigate the characteristics of bone mineral density (BMD) in the patients with maintenance hemodi‐alysis(M HD) and relevant influencing factors to achieve the purpose of early diagnosis of osteoporosis .Methods Seventy‐two pa‐tients undergoing MHD and 76 healthy individuals(control group) were selected .The BMD values of lumbar spine and hip were measured in all subjects by using the dual energy X‐ray absorptiometry(DEXA) .The abnormal situation of BMD and the change of serum bone metabolism indicators in the patients with M HD were analyzed .Then the related factors affecting BMD were further ex‐plored .Results Compared with healthy controls ,the average BMD of lumbar and hip joints in M HD patients was significantly de‐creased ,which in elderly women was most remarkable ,and the incidence of osteoporosis was also significantly increased (P<0 .05) . Meanwhile ,the serum detection results showed that the levels of AKP ,iPTH ,P ,osteocalcin(OC) ,procollagen 1 N‐terminal peptide (P1NP) and β‐crosslaps (β‐CTX) in the NHD patients were significantly increased ;however the levels of Vit D and Ca were markedly decreased .The correlation analysis results showed that BMD was positively correlated with BMI and blood Ca ,while neg‐atively correlated with age ,dialysis age ,serum AKP and OC levels .Conclusion M HD patients are easily to appear the osteoporosis phenomenon ,in which the gender ,age ,dialysis age ,BMI ,serum AKP ,Ca and OC are the factors affecting BMD .

Objective To investigate the value of 18F-FDG SUVmax in gastric cancer diagnosis with coincidence imaging. Methods The coincidence imaging was performed in 92 patients with gastric diseases (60 males,32 females, age 65 (32-85) years; 78 malignant cases,14 benign cases). The malignant cases included 3 remnant gastric cancers and 75 primary gastric cancers (staging: 4 of Tis,13 of T1,9 of T2,33 of T3,11 of T4 and 5 without surgery). The well-,moderately-and poorly-differentiated adenocarcinomas were 22,15 and 28,respectively.Images were analyzed retrospectively with visual method and 18F-FDG SUVmax, and the diagnostic results were compared with the histopathological findings. The ROC curve was used to analyze the SUVmax. The Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to evaluate the relationship between SUVmax and tumor size. The Wilcoxon rank sum test was applied to determine the difference of SUVmax between early and advanced gastric cancers. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used to analyze the difference of SUVmax in various types of differentiated adenocarcinoma. Results No matter visual method or SUVmax was used, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of coincidence imaging in diagnosis of gastric cancer were 64.1%(50/78),64.3%(9/14) and 64.1%(59/92),respectively.The AUC of SUVmax was 0.695 and the cut-off value was 0.700.SUVmax Was positively correlated with tumor size significantly(r=0.489,P<0.001).There was statistically significant difference between SUVmax of Tis-1 and that of T2-4(0.676± 1.288 vs 3.851 ±3.764;Z=-3.754,P<0.001).However,there was no statistically significant difference among SUVmax of various grades of differentiated adenocarcinoma(2.805±4.008,3.447±2.365,3.413± 3.737 ; x2 =2.459,P> 0.05).Conclusions SUVmax provides more information than visual method in assessing gastric cancer with 18F-FDG coincidence imaging.Appropriate cut-off value of SUV is necessary for improvement of the diagnostic efficiency.Relationships between SUV and pathological T stage, histopathological types and differentiation degree need further investigation.

Objective To evaluate the effect of pacing in different parts of the ventricle on left ven-tricular mechanical asynchrony using myocardial metabolic imaging. Methods A total of 56 elderly patients undergoing permanent pacemaker implantation in our hospital from January to November 2023 were recruited and randomly divided into left bundle branch pacing(LBBAP)group and right ventricular pacing(RVP)group, with 28 patients in each group.Another 28 elderly patients who did not undergo pacemaker implantation surgery were selected as the control group.Within 1 week after pacemaker implantation,18F fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG)positron emission tomo-graphy(PET)/CT myocardial metabolism imaging was performed to analyze PET myocardial metabolism images and evaluate left ventricular mechanical synchrony. Results The LVEF was significantly higher in the control group than the LBBAP group and RVP group[(67.68±9.61)%vs(62.71±11.33)%vs(57.36±16.07)%,P=0.012],but no such difference was seen between the LBBAP group and the RVAP group(P>0.05).The LBBAP group had obviously lower pat-tern standard deviation(PSD),phase histogram bandwidth(PHBW),entropy, summed motion score(SMS),summed thickening score(STS),extent of abnormal motion(Mot Ext)and thicken-ing extent(Thk Ext)when compared with the RVP group(P<0.01).There were no statistical significant differences in the terms of PSD,PHBW,Entropy,SMS,STS,Mot Ext,and Thk Ext between the LBBAP group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT myo-cardial metabolic imaging can be used to evaluate left ventricular mechanical synchrony in pacing different parts of the ventricle, and LBBAP can obtain better left ventricular synchrony parame-ters than RVP,similar to the control group.
