Objective To investigate the effect of electromyographic biofeedback motion sensing game on upper limb function in chil-dren with obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP). Methods From March, 2013 to February, 2014, 41 children with OBPP were randomly as-signed into conventional rehabilitation group (n=21) and motion sensing game group (n=20). Both groups underwent a comprehensive course of rehabilitation, and the motion sensing game group received upper limb occupational therapy in the motion sensing game, for four weeks. They were assessed with Mallet shoulder function scale and the surface electromyogram (EMG) of the deltoid muscle when abduct-ing the shoulder before and after treatment. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the Mallet scores between two groups (t=0.730, P>0.05), the scores improved after treatment in both groups (t>5.085, P<0.05), and the scores after treatment and the D-val-ue scores before and after treatment were higher in the motion sensing game group than in the conventional rehabilitation group (t>3.195, P<0.01). The integral EMG (iEMG) value, average EMG (aEMG) value and maximum EMG (EMGmax) value of the deltoid muscle improved in the motion sensing game group after treatment (t>4.420, P<0.05), however, only aEMG and iEMG improved in the conventional rehabili-tation group (t>2.282, P<0.05). All of them after treatment and the D-value were higher in the motion sensing game group than in the con-ventional rehabilitation group (t>2.155, P<0.05). Conclusion Electromyographic biofeedback motion sensing game therapy plays a role in the rehabilitation of upper limb function and muscle strength in children with OBPP.

Pancreas of 53 aborted fetuses ranging from 5 to 41 weeks were fixed in Bouin's fluid and embedded in paraffin, and the sections were stained with Alcian bluephloxine and Grimelius silver technique. The A, B and D cell of islet of Langerhans were demonstrated with immunohistochemical PAP method also. 14 pancreas among them were fixed in 2% glutaraldehyde and embedded in Epon 812, and observed with TEM. Typical A, B and D islet cells were observed with LM at 12 weeks of fetal age. Undifferentiated, differentiated and degenerated cells were distinguished in the pancreatic islets at 14 to 41 weeks of fetal age. The secretory granules of the exoerine cells were observed after 14 weeks of fetal age. The functional differentiation of endocrine cells precede that of exocrine cells. The morphometrical measurement testified that the endocrine portion of fetal pancreas was obviously larger than that of adult. This study provides some morphological data for the pancreas transplantation in clinical medicine.

Objective:To understand the effect of presenteeism behavior of nurses on patient satisfaction and to explore the correlation between them. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. In December 2019, the convenient sampling method was adopted to select 500 in-service responsible nurses and 500 inpatients under the charge of the responsible nurses in 5 Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals in Henan Province as the research objects. The responsible nurses were surveyed by general information questionnaire and Presenteeism Behavior Scale and patients in charge were surveyed by Inpatient Satisfaction and Experience Monitoring Scale. Results:A total of 435 valid questionnaires were collected from responsible nurses and patients in charge. The score of Presenteeism Behavior Scale of 435 nurses was (2.62±0.93) and the score of Inpatient Satisfaction and Experience Monitoring Scale of 435 patients was (4.50±0.49) , showing negative correlation ( r=-0.19, P<0.01) . Conclusions:The level of nurses' presenteeism behavior is at a moderate level and patient satisfaction is at an upper-middle level. Nurses' presenteeism behavior affects patient satisfaction. The higher the incidence of nurses' presenteeism behavior, the lower the patient satisfaction. It is recommended to reduce nurses' presenteeism behavior and improve patient satisfaction.

Objective Because of statistical noise in Monte Carlo dose calculations, the effective point doses may not be accurately calculated.A user-defined sphere volume was adopted to substitute the effective point to take sphere sampling around the effective point, which minimize the random errors and improve the accuracy of statistical dose. Methods Direct dose measurements were performed at 0°and 90° using a 0.125 cm3 Semiflex ionization chamber (IC) 31010 isocentrically placed in the center of a homogeneous Cylindric sliced RW3 phantom (PTW,Germany). In the scanned CT phantom series, the sensitive volume length of the IC (6.5 mm) was delineated and the isocenter was defined as the simulated effective point. All beams were simulated in the treatment planning system (TPS) in accordance to the measured model. The grid spacing was calculated by 2 mm voxels and the relative standard deviation should be ≤ 0.5%.The statistical and measured doses were statistically compared among three IC models with different electron densities (ED;esophageal lumen ED =0.210 g/cm3 for model A,air ED =0.001 g/cm3 for model B and the default CT scanned ED for model C) at different sampling sphere radius (2.5,2.0,1.5 and 1.0 mm) to evaluate the effect of Monte Carlo.calculation uncertainty upon the dose accuracy. Results In the Monaco TPS,the statistical value was in the highest accordance with the measured value with an absolute average deviation of 0.49% when the IC was set as esophageal lumen ED =0.210 g/cm3 and the sampling sphere radius was 1.5 mm.When the IC was set as air ED=0.001 g/cm3 and default CT scanned ED,and, the recommended statistical sampling sphere radius was 2.5 mm,the absolute average deviations were 0.61% and 0.70%.Conclusion In the Monaco TPS,the calculation model with an ED of 0.210 g/cm3 and a sampling radius of 1.5 mm is recommended for the ionization chamber 31010 to substitute the effective point dose measurement to decrease the random stochastic errors of Monte Carlo.
