In order to survey the prevalence of encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) infection in pigs in Hebei Province from 2006 to 2008,a total of 1306 swine serum from 31 farms in 10 regions in Hebei were tested for antibodies against EMCV nonstructural protein 2C by ELISA.Positive rates of antibodies in different regions and different age groups were analyzed.The results showed that antibodies against EMCV 2C were found in 176 out of 1306 serum samples collected from Hebei Province and the total positive rate was 13.48%.Seroprevalence of EMCV infection appeared in six out of ten surveyed regions and the highest positive rate was 26%.There was significant difference of seroprevalence in EMCV infection between breeder sows and other swine species.This survey indicated that EMCV infection has occurred in pig farms in most regions of Hebei Province and EMCV-carried breeder sows were one of the crucial causes for EMCV infection and prevalence.

Objective To analyze clinical features and treatment results of primary non-Hodgkin lymphoma of bone (PLB) and further to investigate the rational treatment. Methods Clinical data of 26 patients with PLB were analyzed. Twenty-three (88.5 %) patients received radiotherapy in combination with chemotherapy, three received chemotherapy alone, and three patients also received surgical resection. Results The pathological types of lymphoma in the patients were diffused large B-cell iymphoma (DLBCL) in 15 patients (57.7 %), small B-cell lymphoma in 1 patient(3.8 %), B-cell lymphoma with unclassified subtypes in 4 patients (15.5 %), T-cell lymphoma in 5 patients (19.3 %,among which anaplastic large cell lymphoma in 3 patients), and unclassified lymphoma in one patient (3.8 %). Of the 26 cases of PLB, 15 were at stage Ⅰ, 3 at stage Ⅱ, 3 at stage Ⅲ and 5 at stage Ⅵ. The 3- and 5-year overall survival rates were 59.16 % and 31.37 %respectively. In the eleven patients who died of lymphoma, three had Iocol-regional relapse, and nine had systemically involved lymphoma. The radiation-induced bone fracture had not been observed after local radiotherapy with median dose of 50 Gy. Conclusion Pelvis maybe a common primary site of PLB, and DLBCL type are the most observed histological subtype. The optimal treatment for PLB is radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy. Local regional radiotherapy with median dose of 50 Gy can be safe and feasible.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of the treatment of Xuezhikang and fluvastatin in elderly angina patients with mildly abnormal liver function .Methods 84 cases of ALT in 40-80u/L very elderly patients with coronary heart disease were randomly selected and divided into the two groups , the Xuezhikang group received Xuezhikang (0.6g,bid,orally),the fluvastatin group received fluvastatin (40mg,1time/night,oral),the total course was 12weeks,the TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL -C were measured before and after treatment ,liver function was measured once 2 -4times.If ALT was 3 times higher than before , Xuezhikang was instead of statins , if ALT was 5 times higher than before ,both of the two drags were withdrawaled .Results The TC,LDL,TG,HDL-C and ALT of the two groups were no significant difference before treatment (P >0.05),the TC,LDL,TG were decreased after treatment in the both group .There was no case of increased of ALT to three times in Xuezhikang group ,however ,ALT of 6 patients were increased more than three times in fluvastatin group ,four weeks after exchange of Xuezhikang ,the ALT were not continued to rise .Conclusion Both the two medicine can significantly lowered the cholesterol in very elderly patients with angina ,but the Xuezhikang were more safety in the patient with mild increased of liver function .

Objective To investigate the role of sLOX?1 and leptin in metabolic syndrome ,glucose and lipid metabolism. Methods 58 patients with metabolic syndrome were included in the study ,with other 35 normal controls as control group. Fasting venous blood samples were collected. ELISA method was used to detect serum sLOX?1 and leptin levels. The related biochemical indicators were tested. Results The sLOX?1 and leptin levels in the metabolic syndrome group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.01). The levels of sLOX?1 and leptin were further compared between different genders. The differences were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). sLOX?1 and leptin levels were positively correlated. They were positively correlated with WAIST,TG,SBP,DBP,and negatively correlated with HDL?C. Leptin and age,FPG also had positive correlation,but sLOX?1 was not correlated with age and FPG. Conclusion sLOX?1 may be able to predict endothelial damage in patients with metabolic syndrome in an early stage. Combined with leptin ,the endothelial dysfunction could be reflected more accurately. They may be the important factors for early diagnosis and risk assessment of metabolic syndrome.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between lactate,lactate clearance rate and prognosis of children with septic shock.Methods A total of 42 children with septic shock admitted in the PICU from Oct 2009 to Jun 2011 were enrolled in the study.All the children were given goal-directed therapy early according to the treatment routine of septic shock.The blood lactate levels before resuscitation and at 1h,2h,6 h after resuscitation were detected,the lactate clearance rates at 1 h,2 h,6 h after resuscitation were calculated.All the patients were divided into the survival group ( n =20 ) and the non-survival group ( n =22 ) by prognosis.The relationship between the early lactate level,lactate clearance rate and prognosis of the children with septic shock was evaluated.Results ( 1 ) The lactate levels before resuscitation and at 1 h,2 h,6 h after resuscitation in the survival group were significantly lower than those in the non-survival group [ (3.92 ± 2.58) mmol/L vs (6.91 ± 4.16) mmol/L,( 2.79 ± 1.89 ) mmol/L vs ( 7.93 ± 4.39 ) mmol/L,( 2.20 ±1.83) mmol/L vs (9.20 ±4.97) mmol/L,( 1.32 ±0.51 ) mmol/L vs (9.94 ±5.02) mmol/L,P ＜0.05].(2) The lactate clearance rates at 1 h,2 h,6 h after resuscitation in the survival group were significantly higher than those in the non-survival group [ (26.31 ± 20.82) ％ vs ( - 24.28 ± 53.39 ) ％,(43.46 ± 17.85 ) ％ vs (-34.31±58.98)％,(61.04±16.71)％ vs ( -45.33 ±83.51)％,P＜0.05].(3) The area under curve of the lactate and the lactate clearance rate at 6 h after resuscitation were 99.4％ and 96.7％ according to the receiver operating characteristic curve.The children had high mortality if the lactate value ＞ 2.20 mmol/L and lactate clearance rate ＜ 18.65％ at 6 h after resuscitation.Conclusion It is important to dynamicly monitor the lactate of the children with septic shock,the lactate and the lactate clearance rate at 6 h after resuscitation can be used to evaluate the prognosis.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of postconditioning with electric vagal stimulation on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats.MethodsSixty male SD rats weighing 250-350 g were randomly divided into 3 groups (n ＝ 20 each):group sham operation (group S); group myocardial I/R (group I/R) and group electric vagal stimulation postconditioning (group POES).Myocardial I/R was induced by occlusion of left anterior descending branch of coronary artery for 30 min followed by 120 min reperfusion in groups I/R and POES.In group POES right cervical vagus nerve trunk was stimulated for 30 min with continuous electric rectangular pulses (2 ms,10 Hz) starting from 15 min of myocardial ischemia.The voltage of the pulses was adjusted to decrease HR by 10％ of the baseline HR before stimulation.MAP,HR and RPP (MAP× HR) were recorded before (baseline) and at 1 and 10 min of ischemia and 30,60 and 120 min of reperfusion.Arterial blood samples were collected from 10 rats in each group at 120 min of reperfusion for determination of serum concentrations of cTnI,CK-MB,TNF-a,high mobility group box 1 protein (HMGB1),ICAM-1,IL-1,IL-6 and IL-10 (by ELISA).The animals were then sacrificed and myocardial infarct size was measured by Evans blue and TTC staining.Another 10 rats were sacrificed at 120 min of reperfusion for determination of myocardial contents of TNF-α,HMGB1,ICAM-1,IL-1,IL-6 and IL-10 (by ELISA).ResultsI/R induced myocardial infarct,significantly increased serum concentrations of cTnI,CK-MB,TNF-α,HMGB1,ICAM-1,IL-1 and IL-6 and significantly increased myocardial contents of TNF-α,HMGB1,ICAM-1,IL-1,IL-6 and IL-10 in both ischemic and non-ischemic regions in group I/R as compared with group S.Electric vagal stimulation significantly decreased myocardial infarct size and serum concentrations of cTnI,CK-MB,TNF-α,HMGB1,1CAM-1,IL-1 and IL-6 in group POES compared with group I/R.Myocardial contents of TNF-α,HMGB1,ICAM-1,IL-1 and IL-6 were significantly decreased while myocardial IL-10 content was increased in both ischemic and non-isehemic regions in groups POES compared with group I/R.ConclusionPostconditioning with electric vagal stimulation can attenuate myocardial I/R injury by inhibiting inflammatory response in rats.

Objective To investigate the effects of postconditioning with α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7nAChR) agonist and ischemia on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury in rats. Methods Fifty adult male SD rats weighing 290-320 g were randomly divided into 5 groups ( n = 10 each): Ⅰ sham operation group, Ⅱ IR group, Ⅲ ischemic postconditioning group, Ⅳ α7nAChR agonist postconditioning group and Ⅴpostconditioning with α7nAChR agonist and ischemia group. Myocardial I/R was induced by ligation of anterior descending branch of left coronary artery for 30 min followed by 1 80 min of reperfusion. In group] the anterior descending branch was only exposed but not ligated. In group Ⅲ the hearts were subjected to 3 episodes of 10 second ischemia at 10 second intervals at the end of 30 min ischemia before 180 min reperfusion, Intraperitoneal PNU282987 2.4 mg/kg was injected at the end of 30 min ischemia before 180 min reperfusion in group Ⅳ and Ⅴ .Blood samples were taken from right internal jugular vein at 180 min of reperfusion. Then the rats were killed and hearts removed to determine the concentrations of serum cardiac troponin-I (cTnI), TNF-α and high-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) by ELISA. The infarction size was measured by Evans blue and triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. Results The infarction size was significantly larger in the other groups and concentrations of serum cTrI, TNF-α and HMGB1 were significantly higher in group Ⅱ than in group Ⅰ ( P ＜ 0.05). The infarction size was significantly smaller and concentrations of serum cTnI, TNF-α and HMGBI were significantly lower in group Ⅲ, Ⅴ than in group Ⅱ (P ＜ 0.05). The infarction size was significantly smaller in group Ⅴ and concentrations of serum cTnI, TNF-α and HMGB1 were significantly lower in group Ⅳ and Ⅴ than in group Ⅲ (P ＜0.05). The infarction size was significantly smaller and concentrations of serum cTnI, TNF-α and HMGB1 were significantly lower in group Ⅴ than in group Ⅳ ( P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion Postconditioning with α7nAChR agonist and ischemia can reduce myocardial I/R injury and the efficacy is better than that of α7nAChR agonist postconditioning or ischemic postconditioning alone.

Objective To analyze the blood perfusion modes of retroperitoneal benign and malignant masses by real-time contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS). Methods Forty-five patients with retroperitoneal masses, including 18 benign and 27 malignant masses, were performed with CEUS. The perfusion of contrast agent, entering style and the vascular patterns of contrast agent were described. And the diagnosis value of perfusion characteristics was evaluated in retroperitoneal benign and malignant masses. Results The perfusion of CEUS showed significant differences in the entering style of contrast agent and the vascular patterns in malignant masses in comparison to benign masses. In the entering style of contrast agent, center enhancement of malignant masses was 70. 37% (19/27), periphery enhancement of benign masses was 72.22% (13/18) ,there was statistical significane in the result( P = 0.0069). To the vascular patterns level,there were 2 with level 0 and 11 with level 1 in benign group, 10 with level 2 and 9 with level 3 in malignant group, there was statistical significane between malignant group and benign group too( P=0.0206). Conclusions CEUS is benefit to improve the accuracy of diagnosis of retroperitonea malignant and benign masses.

Objective To investigate the expressions of c-Fos,5-HT and spontaneous activities in single prolonged stress (SPS) stress rats,and to study the possible mechanism of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD).Methods forty-eight male SD rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:Individual living + SPS group (IS group),Individual living+control group (IC group),Enriched environment+SPS group (ES group),Enriched environment+control group (EC group),control+SPS group(CS group),control group(C group),8 rats in each group,spontaneous activities were measured before the experiment and post experiment at week 1,2.And the expressions of c-Fos,5-HT in the hippocampus were examined by immunohistochemical staining.Results (1) Spontaneous activity:there were no differences of crossing number and distance among 6 groups before experiment (P＞0.05).On SPS 14 days the crossing number and distance of IS group (12.12±9.64,(2.71 ± 1.99)m) decreased compared with the CS group(45.25±8.37,(6.37± 1.18) m,P＜0.05),and ES group (69.75± 10.05,(10.69± 1.50) m)showed significant increase compared with CS group (P＜0.05).(2)5-HT:the expression of 5-HT in the hippocampus of IS group(0.1125±0.0095) was significantly higher than that in CS group(0.6138±0.0059,P＜0.05),menwhile lower in ES group(0.0495±0.0074,P＜0.05).(3)c-Fos:compared with CS group(0.3108±0.0074),the expression of c-Fos in the hippocampus of IS group(0.3585±0.0150,P＜0.05) significantly increased,but decreased in ES group (0.2613±0.0063,P＜ 0.05).Conclusion Enriched environmental can improve the level of activities in PTSD rats,and to reduce the the expression of c-Fos and 5-HT in the hippocampal neurons.

Objective To investigate the substantia nigra (SN) and brainstem raphe (BR) echogenic features of Parkinson's disease (PD) patients with musculoskeletal pain.Methods A total of 115 PD patients recruited in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from October 2014 to May 2016 were assessed with the following rating scales:Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS),Hoehn and Yahr Staging Scale (H/Y),Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD),Beck Depression Inventory Ⅱ (BDI-Ⅱ) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).All the subjects underwent transcranial sonography during the clinical evaluation.And the patients were divided into PD with musculoskeletal pain (n =54) and PD without musculoskeletal pain (n =61) groups,or PD with depression(n =74) and PD without depression(n =41) groups.Results Compared with PD patients without pain,PD patients with musculoskeletal pain had higher scores of UPDRS-Ⅱ,-Ⅲ,HRSD,BDI,NMSQ and H/Y (UPDRS-Ⅱ score:12.56 ±6.01 vs 8.79 ±4.38,t =-3.801,P ＜0.01;UPDRS-Ⅲ score:24.43 ± 12.43 vs 20.07 ± 11.12,t=-1.986,P=0.049;HRSD score:11.65-±6.94 vs 8.38-±5.36,t=-2.844,P=0.005;BDI score:14.09 ±6.20 vs 9.74 ±6.00,t =-3.826,P ＜0.01;NMSQ score:8.57 ± 4.06 vs 5.60 ± 3.38,t=4.193,P＜0.01;H/Y:2.0(1.5,2.6) vs 1.5(1.0,2.0),Z=-3.011,P=0.003).Positive BR was more frequent in depressed than in non-depressed PD patients without pain (63.6％ vs 14.3％;x2 =15.25,P ＜0.01).Positive BR was positively associated with sex(r =0.228,P =0.014),age(r =0.184,P =0.049),disease duration (r =0.196,P =0.035),and depression (r =0.396,P ＜ 0.01).However,positive BR did not correlate with musculoskeletal pain.No correlation was found between positive SN and clinical characteristics of PD patients.Conclusions PD patients with musculoskeletal pain have worse activity of daily living,more severe motor symptoms,more non-motor symptoms,and are more depressed.SN and BR echogenecity do not correlate with musculoskeletal pain,however,hypoechogenic or interrupted BR is associated with depression in PD patients.
