Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Ganglioside(GM1) on acute cerebral infarction. Methods 60 cases with acute cerebral infarction were divided into two groups randomly. At the basic of routin treatment for the twe gyoups,GM1 group was treated with GM1 40 mg/d for 14 days and control group was treated with Citicoline 0.75 g/d for 14 days. The neurological deficit scores(NDS),activities of daily living(ADL) and adverse reactions were evaluated. Results After treatment, the scores of NDS and ADL were singnificantly decreased in twe groups than before treatment((P
3.Effects of ranitidine on spontaneous beating and action potential of cultured mycardial cells of neonatal rats
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
The effects of ranitidine (Ran) on cultured myocardial cells of neonatal rats were observed. Ran 100 ?mol?L-1 took no effect on spontaneous beating rates of cultured myocardial cells, but it decreased the beating rates increased by histamine 10 ?mol?L-1 and did not inhibit the beating rates increased by isoprenaline 2?mol?L-1. Histamine 10?mol?L-1 increased the amplitude, maximal rate of rise and pro-longed action potential duration at 50% (APD50) and 90% (APD90) repolarization. The effect was abolished by Ran 100?mol?L-1. The results suggested that Ran may possess antiarrhythmic action induced by histamine's increase.

Aim To demonstrate the effects and mechanism of adenosine A1 receptor agonist R(-)-N6-(2-phenylisopropyl) adenosine(R-PIA) on high glucose(HG)-induced myocardial hypertrophy by in vitro cultured myocardial cells from neonatal rats. Methods The protein content was assayed by the method of Lowry. The expression of p-ERK1/2 and ERK1/2 was determined by Western blot. The [Ca~(2+)]I transient changes of cell loaded Fura-2/AM were measured by Till image system. Results 1 μmol·L~(-1) R-PIA and U0126 inhibited similarly HG-induced increase of the protein content and [Ca~(2+)]I transient along with the relative expression of p-ERK1/2.These responses were completely abolished by adenosine A1 receptor antagonist 8-cyclopentyl-1,3-dipropylxanthine(CPDPX).Conclusion Adenosine A1 receptor stimulation significantly inhibits HG-induced myocardial hypertrophy by mediating ERK1/2 pathway and Ca~(2+).

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(10):-
HERG/IKr plays an important role in repolarization of cardiac action potential. In pathological condition such as cardiac ischemia, congestive heart failure and myocardial hypertrophy, the density and kinetic properties of HERG/IKr will change. This review is about modulation of HERG/IKr in pathological condition and effect of traditional chinese medicine on HERG/IKr.

Objective To observe the effects of Coptidis Rhizoma on gastrointestinal motility functions, MTL and GAS in spleen-deficiency rats; To explore the dose-effect mechanism of “invigorating stomach” and “spoiling appetite”.Methods Fatigue and troublesome were used to establish exhausted spleen-deficiency models. 60 SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group, model group, positive medicine group, Coptidis Rhizoma high-, medium- and low-dose groups, with 10 rats in each group. Each medication group received relevant medicine for gavage, while the blank control group and model group received normal saline for gavage, once a day for 14 d. The general gastrointestinal motility functions, MTL and GAS of rats in each group were observed. Results Compared with blank control group, the gastric residual rate of model group was significantly higher; small intestinal propulsion rate, MTL, and GAS were significantly lower (P<0.05,P<0.01). Compared with model group, the gastric residual rate in Coptidis Rhizoma low-dose group was significantly lower; small intestinal propulsion rate, MTL and GAS increased significantly (P<0.05,P<0.01); small intestinal propulsion rate and MTL in Coptidis Rhizoma high-dose group were significantly lower (P<0.05).Conclusion High-doseCoptidis Rhizoma leads to “spoiling appetite”, and low-dose Coptidis Rhizoma leads to “invigorating stomach”, which may be related to adjusting gastrointestinal motility directly or adjusting the secretion of gastrointestinal hormones.

Objective To compare the characteristics of digital subtraction angiography ( DSA) and compu-ted tomography angiography ( CTA) of moyamoya disease .Methods To analyze the characteristic of DSA and CTA in 29 cases with moyamoya disease ,including arterial occlusion ,arteriarctia, abnormal proliferation of vascular ,collat-eral circulation. Results There were no statistically significant differences between DSA and CTA in detecting arteri-al occlusion, arteriarctia(CTA 53 hemicerebrum,DSA 57 hemicerebrum)(χ2 =2.167,P>0.05),abnormal prolifera-tion of vascular (abnormal:CTA 41 hemicerebrum,DSA 45 hemicerebrum;normal:CTA 16 hemicerebrum,DSA 12 hemicerebrum)(χ2 =0.757,P>0.05).But there was statistically significant difference between DSA and CTA in detecting collateral circulation .Conclusion CTA is a good method to find out moyamoya disease .But DSA is better in discovery collateral circulation of moyamoya disease .

Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the curative effect of magnesium ion on patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods According to the standards,80 patients with severe craniocerebral injury were chosen and divided into control group and experimental group randomly. The control group received routine therapy and the experimental group received routine therapy plus magnesium sulfate. Serum endothelin(ET) and Glasgow coma score(GCS)of all the patients were measured at different time respectively, and Glasgow outcome scale(GOS)of all the patients were determined after 3 months, and then these data were analyzed statistically. Results Compared with the control group, Serum ET in the experimental group were lower,GCS were higher, and GOS were better. All these differences were significant(P

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(03):-
Objective To compare clinical curative effects of two types of compression hollow screws in the treatment of femoral neck fractures. Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out on clinical records of 87 cases of femoral neck fracture from February 1996 to September 2004 treated with two types of compression hollow screws, that is,doubleheaded compression hollow screws(46 cases,Group A) and AO titanium compression hollow screws(41 cases,Group B).Results A follow-up was conducted for 3 months~8 years(mean,4.2 years). No statistically significant differences were observed between the two groups. The intraoperative blood loss was significantly less and the time to bone union was significantly shorter in the Group B than in the Group A(t=5.147,P=0.000;t=5.472,P=0.000).The surgical outcomes were classified as "excellent" in 34 cases,"good" in 8,"fair" in 1,and "poor" in 3 in the Group A,while "excellent" in 37 cases,"good" in 2,"fair" in 2,and "poor" in no cases in the Group B,without statistically significant differences between the two groups in the rate of "good" or "excellent" results(89.1% vs 95.1%,?~2=0.398,P=0.528).No femoral head necrosis or non-union was found in the Group B. Conclusions Both of two types of compression hollow screws have showed advantages of simplicity of performance, minimal invasion, short operative time, reliable fixation, and high success rate, being an ideal option for femoral neck fractures.
