3.Application of hepatic arterial infusion in the treatment of colorec-tal cancer liver metastasis
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(20):997-1001
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignancies with a high risk of liver metastasis in China. Compared with systemic chemotherapy, hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) transports cytotoxic agents directly into the hepatic artery, leading to the persistent level of medicine in tumor cells and the relative lower systemic concentration. With advances in HAI, this technique has been successfully used not only as the pre-and post-operative chemotherapy for the resection of colorectal liver metastases, but also as an ad-juvant chemotherapy after the colorectal radical surgery to prevent the liver metastasis. This review discusses the application and per-spective of HAI in the treatment of colorectal cancer liver metastasis.

5.Influence of surface treatment with sodium hypochlorite solution on dentin bond strength
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2017;49(1):105-109
Objective:To evaluate the influence of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution used during root canal therapy on dentin bond strength. Methods:In the study,15 freshly extracted human third molars with complete dental crowns, caries and filling-free were selected. The occlusal enamel was removed perpendicular to the long axis of the tooth to expose middle flat surfaces of sound dentin. The occlusal dentin surfaces were then polished using 600-grit silicon papers for 1 min and rinsed with deionized water for 1 min.The teeth were randomly divided into three groups according to the treatment received:group A (negative control group),the samples were immersed in deionized water for 20 min;group B,the dentin surfaces were immersed in 2.50% NaOCl solution for 20 min, with the solution being renewed every 5 min;group C,the dentin surfaces were immersed in 5.25% NaOCl solution for 20 min, with the solution being renewed every 5 min.All the treated dentin surfaces were bonded using a self-etching adhesive system (SE bond) with a 5 mm in height resin composite (AP-X).After storage in deionized water at 37 ℃ for 24 h,the adhesive samples were sectioned longitudinally to produce 1.0 mm ± 1.0 mm stick specimens (n =45) for micro-tensile bond strength testing (MPa).Failure modes (adhesive failure, cohesive failure or mixed failure) at the dentin-resin interface were observed using a stereomicroscope. The micro-tensile bond strength data among the three groups were analyzed by a one-way ANOVA,then the Post-hoc test(LSD) was employed for pairwise comparison. The distribution of failure modes among the groups were analyzed by chi square test. Results:Significant decreased bond strength values were found for the 2.50% NaOCl-treated group (26.04 ± 5.74) MPa and 5.25% NaOCl-treated group (24.46 ± 3.77) MPa when compared with the strength of negative control group (48.71 ± 7.77) MPa,P =0.000.Compared with the negative control group,themicro-tensile bond strength of the 2.50% NaOCl-treated group and 5.25% NaOCl-treated grouphad dropped by 46.5% and 50.2%.However,there was no significant difference of bond strength between the 2 NaOCl-treated groups (P =0.214).The distribution of failure modes showed significant difference in all the three groups (2 =56.324,P =0.000).The mixed failure (68.9%) was the most mode of fracture in the negative control group, followed by adhesive failure (24.4%),and the cohesive failure was leas t (6.7%).The proportion of adhesive failure mode was higher in NaOCl-treated groups than in negative control group (P =0.000).There was no significant difference of the distribution of failure modes between the 2.50% NaOCl-treated group and 5.25% NaOCl-treated group(P =0.197),and there was no cohesive failure mode detected in the two groups. Conclusion:The micro-tensile bond strength of dentin to composite resin was lower after exposure to NaOCl solution.
6.Cosmetics Preservatives and Analysis Methods Used in China
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(07):-
A briefly introduction of action mechanism of preservatives, deterioration caused by microorganism and the commonly used preservatives in cosmetics were presented in this paper. Sample pretreatment method and instrumental analysis method were summarized also. The popular preservatives in cosmetics were parabens. The consumption of new preservatives in cosmetics (iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea) is increasing. The analysis method of preservatives by the high-performance liquid chromatography was most widespread. Regarding kathon, the sensitivity of gas chromatography is higher than that of high-performance liquid chromatography. The other analysis methods are semi-quantitative thin layer chromatography and simultaneously determination water-soluble and the fat soluble preservatives capillary electrophoresis. The methods for determination of 55 limited preservatives of Hygienic Standard for Cosmetics(in 2002 version) are still not satisfactory, more methods should be developed.
7.Effects of ranitidine on spontaneous beating and action potential of cultured mycardial cells of neonatal rats
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
The effects of ranitidine (Ran) on cultured myocardial cells of neonatal rats were observed. Ran 100 ?mol?L-1 took no effect on spontaneous beating rates of cultured myocardial cells, but it decreased the beating rates increased by histamine 10 ?mol?L-1 and did not inhibit the beating rates increased by isoprenaline 2?mol?L-1. Histamine 10?mol?L-1 increased the amplitude, maximal rate of rise and pro-longed action potential duration at 50% (APD50) and 90% (APD90) repolarization. The effect was abolished by Ran 100?mol?L-1. The results suggested that Ran may possess antiarrhythmic action induced by histamine's increase.
8.The effect of induction with etomidate or midazolam on the hemodynamics and oxygen consumption in patients with coronary heart disease
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1997;0(11):-
Objective: To evaluate the hemodynamics and oxygen consumption following induction of anesthesia with etomidate or midazolam in patients with coronary heart disease(CAD). Method: Thirty patients were divided into E (etomidate,n=15)and M(midazolam,n=15)groups,receiving a infusion of etomidate or midazolam until their eyelash reflex was lost. After pipeuronium(0.15mg/kg) and fentanyl were administered according to the mean blood pressure, the intubetion was achieved. Hemodynsmic and oxygen data were measured before induction, during induction and 1 min after intubation. Result: Induction caused a significant fall in HR,MAP,SVRI,PVRI and VO_2I in both groups (P
9.Clinical applicaton of carotid endarterectomy
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1997;0(06):-
Objective To study the indications of carotid endarterectomy(CEA) and perioperative managements . Methods The clinical data of 11 patients with transient ischemia attack (TIA) and carotid artery stenosis who underwent CEA were reviewed retrospectively. Results After CEA, the TIA symptoms disappeared in all patients, and the chronic symptoms of cerebral ischemia had obvious improvement in 4 cases . There were no serious postoperative complications, such as cerebral hemorrhage, hemiplegia, etc. Conclusions CEA may be considered when one or both sides of carotid stenosis more than 50% is discovered by Duplex scanning, digital subtraction angiography or MRA in patients with TIA. Stage operation for bilateral carotid occlusive lesion is safer. Paying attention to perioperative managements is important for reducing operative complications.
10.Effects of Naoluotong on Dogs' Cerebral Blood Flow
China Pharmacy 1991;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of naoluotong on dogs' cerebral blood flow. METHODS:The anaesthetized dogs were randomly divided into naoluotong (which was subdivided into high, medium and low dose subgroups) group, antigeron positive control group, naoxuekang group, and blank control group with 6 dogs in each group. The internal carotid artery flow (ICAF), blood pressure (BP), electrocardiogram (ECG) and heart rates of the dogs were determined at different time after administration with drugs. RESULTS:As compared with the blank control group, the high and medium dose of naoluotong could significantly increase dogs' cerebral blood flow and reduce cerebral vascular resistance yet without significant influence on arterial blood pressure, heart rates and ECG. CONCLUSION: Naoluotong can improve cerebral blood circulation.
