China Pharmacy 2007;0(34):-
OBJECTIVE:To observe the distribution of fluorescent material in the respiratory tract of animals with the use of small animal imaging technology to quickly evaluate the effects of respiratory drug delivery. METHODS: The Kunming mice in the experimental group were administered with Cy5.5 fluorescent-labeled aerosol, meanwhile,a positive control group was set up by injecting same amount of compound anhydrous diethyl ether solution via tracheal incubation, with negative control group inhaled the same amount of non-Cy5.5 fluorescently-labeled aerosol. The fluorescent distribution of the aerosolized particles in the respiratory tract was observed. RESULTS: Fluorescently-labeled aerosol was observed in both the experimental group and the positive control group but not in negative control group. CONCLUSION: The small animal imaging technology is expected to be used as a rapid and effective method for evaluating the efficacy of respiratory drug delivery.

Method:Questionnaires were used in 1 ~5 grade students in randomly selected five medical colleges in Guizhou. Results:Total 1000 questionnaires were sent out, 957 were received, the recovery rate was 95. 7%;817 valid questionnaires, the effective rate was 81. 7%. 75. 56% of the students supported for medical colleges and uni-versities setting up humanistic quality public elective courses, but 24. 44% had negative attitude. Conclusions:It's nec-essary to make efforts to improve the mind medical student's humanistic quality. Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2013;(6):591-593
objective To observe the effects of co-culture of hTNFα-sercreting and human colon cancer cells LOVO on the proliferation of cancer cells. Methods The stable transfected hTNF-α/293 , mRNA of Hek-293 cell and protein expression were detected by RT-PCR and ELISA. The positive group was added hTNF-αfactor,and MTT assay was applied under the optical density 490 nm. Through human tumor cell proliferation inhibition experiment, the inhibitory effects on colon cancer cells ( LOVO) proliferation were observed. Results hTNF-α/293 cells and hTNF-α-positive group showed a significant lower A,which suggested that hTNF-α/293 cells and hTNF-α-positive group had significant inhibition on the proliferation of colon cancer cells. Conclusion The inhibition of hTNF-αsecreted by hTNF-α/293 cells on co-lon cancer cell proliferation shows significant dose-effect dependency, and hTNF-αexpresses a considerable inhibition on the colon cancer cell proliferation as positive drug.

This study was aimed to investigate Baishile Capsule on behavior, memory and expression of SYN I and SYNA in hippocampal CA3 region of depression model rats. SD rats were randomly divided into six groups, which were the control group, depression model group, fluoxetine hydrochloride group, and the Baishile Capsule group (2.88 g·kg-1, 1.44 g·kg-1, 0.72 g·kg-1). The chronic stress depression model rats were established by chronic and mild unpredictable stressors as described in the literature. In the model group, medicine was intragastricly administered once per day and continued for 21 days. In the control group and model group, same volume of distilled water was intragastricly administered. The open-field test, preference for 1% sucrose solution, Morris water maze, and rate of weight were carried out and observed. Immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were used in the observation of the expression of SYN I and SYNA in each group of model rats. The results showed that high-dosage Baishile Capsule can significantly increase the horizontal and vertical activities of score after two-week treatment (P< 0.01). The middle-dosage Baishile Capsule can significantly increase the horizontal activity of score after three-week treatment (P< 0.05). The rat's preference for sucrose solution was obviously increased in the high-dosage group after one-week treatment and in the middle-dosage group after three-week treatment (P< 0.01, or P< 0.05). The rate of weight of rats was obviously increased in the high-dosage group after two-week treatment and in the middle-dosage group after three-week treatment (P< 0.01, or P< 0.05). The high-dosage and middle-dosage Baishile Capsule can shorten EL, and significantly increase the number of target quadrant. The high-dosage Baishile Capsule can obviously shorten the target quadrant latency (P< 0.05). Compared with the model group, the immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization showed high-dosage Baishile can significantly promote the expression of SYN I and SYNA in hippocampal CA3 region; and the middle-dosage group can enhance the expression of SYNA (P < 0.05, or P <0.01). It was concluded that Baishile Capsule can obviously improve the behavior and the expression of SYN I and SYNA in hippocampal CA3 region of depression model rats.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2012;33(4):288-289
Objective To study the concurrence of congenital ptosis and hypospadias and the relationship between the two. Methods The incidence rate and degree of ptosis were recorded for 254 cases of hypospadias. Results The morbidity of ptosis in hypospadias cases was 4.72%.The posterior hypospadias group had a higher ptosis rate than the anterior and middle hypospadias groups,P < 0.05. While there was no statistical difference of severe ptosis morbidity rates between these two groups. Conclusions Congenital ptosis is a common concurrent anomaly of hypospadias outside the urogenital system. The severity of hypospadias is relevant with the morbidity of ptosis but not with the degree of ptosis.Hypospadias and ptosis may share common pathogenic or susceptive factors.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(08):-
AIM: To investigate the effect of 17?-estradiol(E2) on myocardial hypertrophy induced by endothelin-1(ET-1) and the related mechanism.METHODS: Myocardial cells from neonate rats were cultured in vitro and myocardial hypertrophy model was established with ET-1.The effects of 17?-estradiol on myocardial hypertrophy were observed. The role of ERK1/2 in the effects of 17?-estradiol was also detected.RESULTS: Compared with control group,ET-1 increased cell protein content, cell surface area and -Leucine(-Leu) incorporation.Pretreatment with E2 for 24 h could inhibit the increase in cell protein content, cell surface area and -Leu incorporation induced by ET-1.ET-1 significantly stimulated ERK1/2 activity, which was prevented by pretreatment with E2.Tamoxifen,estradiol receptor antagonist, partially inhibited the effect of E2.The ability of ET-1 to stimulate -Leu incorporation was significantly blocked by PD98059,which could enhance the inhibitory effect of E2 on the increase of -Leu incorporation in cardiomyocytes induced by ET-1.CONCLUSION: E2 can inhibit cardiomyocyte hypertrophy induced by ET-1.This effect is mediated by estrogen receptor.ERK1/2 signal pathway is closely correlated with the inhibitory effect of E2 on cardiomyocyte hypertrophy induced by ET-1.

Journal of Medical Biomechanics 2011;26(2):181-188
Objective:It is demostrated that the porous protein-mineral mechanics model could provide more accurate prediction for biomaterial properties of dentine compared with the other established models. This paper would use the model to reevaluate the mechanical properties and its interacting mechanism of human dentine.Method:By using a porous proteinmineral mechanics model, the effect from the interactions between tubules, pedtubular and intertubular matrix on dentine microstructure was discussed. Results:The dentinal micromechanical properties were dependent on the tubular direction, and the absolute values of the stresses derived from the hydraulic and gas tubular pressures increased parabolically with theincreasing diameter of the tubules. It was also found that the effective elastic constants of the dentine microstructure would vary with the aging and the distribution of mineral and collagen within peritubular and intertubular matrix of detine. Conclusions:The theoretical analyses provided in this paper demonstrated that the microstructural characteristics of tubules, peritubular and intertubular dentinal matdx could have different influences on the micromechanical properties of human dentine, which showed the validity of porous protein-mineral mechanics model, and the limitation of some models that neglected the interacting mechanism.
