Objective:To investigate the clinical effectiveness analysis on biliary stent combined with 125I seed implantation in the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice.Methods:98malignant obstructive jaundice patients undergoing percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage requirement of biliary stent were divided into combined group(n=53) and simple group(n=45).Patients in combined group were taken biliary stent combined with 125I seed implantation,while in simple group were only taken biliary stent.All patients were followed up for 4 to 28 months.The changes of total bilirubin were recorded before percutaneous bile duct drainage,7 d,30 d and 90 d after biliary stent implantation.The recurrences of biliary obstruction of the two groups were recorded.The changes of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood were detected before percutaneous bile duct drainage and after biliary stent implantation 7 d.The survival times of the two groups were compared.Results:All patients were successfully completed biliary stent implantation,surgical success rate was 100％.The total bilirubin levels of patients in combined group 30 d and 90 d after stent implantation were significantly lower than the simple group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).After surgery 7 d,the CD4 level and CD4/CD8 ratio in combined group were increased compared with before surgery,while in the simple group were declined,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Compared with the simple group,the CD4 level and CD4/CD8 ratio in combined group after surgery 7d were significantly increased (P＜0.05).2 cases (3.8％) of patients were recurrence of biliary obstruction,which were lower than 17 cases (37.8％) in the simple group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.001).The median survival time in combined group was 10.6 months,which was significantly longer than 7.5 months in the simple group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion:Biliary stent combined with 125I seed implantation in the treatment of malignant obstructive jaundice might relieve the symptom of biliary obstruction,and helped to improve cellular immune function of patients and reduce the recurrence of biliary obstruction.It had great significance to improve the quality of life of patients and prolong the survival time.

Hypertension is one of the high prevalence diseases in Xinjiang,which severely affect the body-mind heath of the people.In Northwest area,particularly in xinjiang,dryness syndrome is prevailed owing to environmental factor.Therefore,dryness syndrome of climacteric hypertension in xinjiang is more prevalent than that in other areas.Discussion on the effect of environmental factors on climacteric hypertension is a main aspect of Northwest dryness syndrome study.It may provide reliable and helpful basis of prevention and treatment of climacteric hypertension in xinjiang.

[Objective]To determine the prevalence of each type of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis in Lenke classification,and find out the relationship between Lenke classification and fusion level. [Method]Totally 154 cases of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis being treated with sugery between January 2002 and September 2007 were analyzed retrospectively in Guangdong General Hospital.All casess were classified with Lenke classification,prevalence of each type were counted.The fusion levels were compared with Lenke classification.[Result]All of 154 cases could be classified by Lenke classification,the 5 most common types were 1AN,5CN,1BN,2AN,1CN.95.5% of structural curve had been fused.[Conclusion]Lenke classification can provide effective guidance for pre-operative evaluation and choosing opertive method.The method of determining structural curve is useful.

Objective To study the effects of ginsenoside on expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase and concentration of NO in THP-1 induced by amyloid beta(Aβ) in Alzheimer's disease. Methods The concentra- tion of nitric oxide was determined by Griess Reagent in supernatant of THP-1. The content of iNOS was measured by western blotting. Results The expression of iNOS of model group was significantly higher than those of control group. Compared with model group, the ginseng could reduce expression of iNOS and concentration of NO significant- ly in THP-1. Conclusion Ginsenoside can significantly inhibit the expression of iNOS, and reduce secretions of NO, so it may provide a novel therapy for AD.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of oral use of Yibai Tongfeng Pills for the treatment ofgouty arthritis with damp-heat obstruction. Methods One hundred and sixteen gouty arthritis patients were randomized into treatment group (N = 62) and control group (N = 54). The treatment group was treated with Yibai Tongfeng Pills orally, and the control group was treated with oral use of Colchicine Tablets and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets at acute stage and with oral use of Benzbromarone Tablets at remission stage. Twelve weeks constituted one treatment course. Clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated after treatment, and the changes of C-reactive protein(CRP), white blood cell(WBC) and uric acid(UA) levels in the blood of the two groups were observed before and after treatment. Results (1) The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.55%and that of the control group was 83.33%, the difference being significant(P<0.05).(2) After treatment, the scores of syndrome manifestations of the two groups were obviously decreased(P < 0.05 compared with those before treatment), and the decrease in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0.05) . (3) After treatment, CRP, WBC and UA levels in the blood of the two groups were much improved(P < 0.05 compared with those before treatment), and the improvement of CRP in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0.05), while the differences of the improvement of WBC and UA between the two groups were insignificant (P > 0.05). Conclusion Yibai Tongfeng Pills are effective for the treatment of gouty arthritis with damp-heat obstruction by improving syndrome manifestations and rapidly decreasing CRP level.

Objective: To improve the ultrasonic diagnosis criteria for blood flow in the breast neoplasms. Methods: The features of Doppler imaging in 240 cases of breast neoplasms were analyzed. Results and conclusion: The blood distribution of benign tumor is mainly at 0 Ⅱ level and that of malignant tumor mainly at Ⅲ Ⅳ level. Peak velocity(Vp), mean velocity(Vm), pulsatile index(PI) and resistance index(RI) of malignant tumor are higher than those of benign tumor.

Objective To investigate expression characteristics in regenerating hair follicles induced by Wnt10b, and to explore mechanisms underlying Wnt10b-induced regeneration of hair follicles. Methods Both adenovirus containing the Wnt10b gene(AdWnt10b)and that containing the green fluorescent protein-encoding gene(AdGFP)were amplified in HEK-293 cells and purified by caesium chloride density gradient centrifugation. A total of 36 C57BL/6J mice were randomly and equally divided into the AdWnt10b group and AdGFP group to be intracutaneously injected with AdWnt10b and AdGFP on the back respectively. Three mice were sacrificed on day 2.5, 5, 7, 9, 14 and 28 after the injection separately, and skin samples were resected from the injected sites subsequently. Hematoxylin and eosin(HE) staining and immunohistochemical staining were performed to observe hair follicle structure, analyze expression characteristics of the Wnt signaling pathway, and to estimate proliferative activity of regenerating hair follicles induced by Wnt10b. Results As HE staining showed, new hair follicles appeared as early as day 5 after the injection, then grew normally, and entered into catagen phase on day 28 in the AdWnt10b group. Immunohistochemical staining showed that AE15 expression was observed in new hair follicles as early as day 5 after the injection in the AdWnt10b group, then increased along with the growth of hair follicles, but decreased on day 28. On day 5 after AdWnt10b injection, both β-catenin and Lef1 expressions were seen in the cell nucleus. Lef1 was expressed specifically in hair germs and hair matrix, and its expression began to decrease on day 28. In addition, Ki67 expression was observed in the epidermis and outer root sheath of hair follicles as early as day 2.5 after the injection, in the bulge region of hair follicles on day 2.5, 7, 9 and 14, and in hair matrix cells as early as day 7. Conclusion Wnt10b could induce regeneration of hair follicles with normal structure, likely by activating the canonical Wnt signaling pathway in hair follicle stem cells and their daughter cells.

Aim To investigate the effect of small in-terfering RNA(siRNA) targeting DNMT1 gene on cell proliferation, apoptosis and histone modulation in acute lymphoid leukemia cell line, Molt-4. Methods The small interfering RNA targeting DNMT1 gene was transfected into Molt-4 cells by LipofectamineTM 2000. The DNMT1 mRNA and protein level were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot. Cell proliferation was de-termined by MTT. Cell apoptosis was measured by Flow Cytometry. The expression of Bcl-2, procaspase-3, P15, histone methylation and histone acetylation was detected by Western blot. Results DNMT1 was suppressed by siRNA targeting DNMT1 in a concentra-tion-dependent manner. DNMT1 siRNA suppressed cells proliferation and induced apoptosis in Molt-4 cells. Apoptotic rate was (4. 27 ± 1. 42)% , (15. 25 ± 1. 54)% , (35. 63 ± 2. 54)% , (66. 27 ± 3. 02)%after transfecting with DNMT1 siRNA at 0, 30, 60, 120 nmol·L - 1 for 24 hours, P < 0. 05. The expres-sion of Bcl-2, procaspase-3 was suppressed and P15 was promoted after transfecting of DNMT1 siRNA. DN-MT1 siRNA downregulated histone methylated H3K9 and upregulated histone methylated H3K4. The altera-tion of histone acetylation of H3 was not seen. Conclu-sion DNMT1 siRNA suppresses DNMT1 efficiently in Molt-4 cells. The depletion of DNMT1 downregulates histone methylation of H3K9, and upregulates histone methylation of H3K4. It inhibits cell growth and in-duces cell apoptosis in Molt-4 cell line.
