In recent five years, brain imaging studies suggested that internet addicts' neural pathway have abnormalities in reward circuits, executive control system, and decision-making system when they are in resting state or induced state. For internet addicts,in the aspect of reward circuits, they showed decreased metabolism level when undergoing a resting-state fMRI scan, and enhanced reward sensitivity as well as decreased loss sensitivity when functioning. In the aspect of executive control system, the related brain areas were associated with reduced white matter integrity and disrupted functional comnectivity in resting-state.When the task was internet-related,internet addicts showed enhanced executive control function. However, when the task was not internet-related,they showed reduced executive control function. In the aspect of decision-making system, reduced cortical thickness in related brain areas was found when internet addicts are in resting-state,and they possess high impulsivity and high risk tendency when they are in induced state. These findings are consistent with the conclusions of substance addicts which are based on the research of brain imaging, therefore,we preliminary think the internet addiction is a new type of addictive mental disorder.

The present study aimed to find out dynamic changes of apoptosis in human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infected cells and the influence of HCMV infection on activation of caspase3 and the expression of apoptosis-regulating genes, bcl-2 and fas mRNA. The sequential changes of apoptotic cell rate in high and low MOI (MOI= 2.5 and 0.25 respectively) of HCMV infected human embryonic lung fibroblasts (HELFs) at 1 h, 12 h, 24 h, 36 h, 48 h, 72 h and 96 h post-infection were measured by flow cytometry. The expression levels of caspase-3 protein and bcl-2 and fas mRNA in HCMV infected cells (MOI=0.25) at 72 h post-infection were detected by Western blot and in situ hybridization methods, respectively. It was found that the ratio of apoptotic cells in normal controls was consistently lower, but the rates in low and high MOI infected cells were gradually increased with time prolonged, reached peak at 96 h (8.85 %) and 72 h (25.63 %), respectively. By Western blot analysis, only a narrow band of 32 kD (1 kD=0. 992 1 ku) procaspase-3 was found in normal cells, but a wider procaspase-3 band and a much wider band of 17 kD proteins (p17) appeared in the infected cells. Meanwhile, the expression of bcl-2 mRNA was higher and that of fas mRNA was lower in the normal HELF cells, whereas there were significantly lower bcl-2 mRNA and higher fas mRNA expression levels in HCMV infected cells. It was concluded that HCMV was a stronger inducer of apoptosis in HELF cells. Caspase-3, as the marker of undergoing apoptosis, was expressed increasingly and activated in the infected cells, indicating its action in HCMV-inducing apoptosis. Down-regulating bcl-2 mRNA expression and up-regulating fas mRNA expression were also involved in the mechanism of HCMV-induced apoptosis.

Objective:
To analyze the effect of detail nursing in enteral nutrition in patients with severe craniocerebral injury.
Methods:
A total of 96 patients with severe craniocerebral injury admitted to ICU department were divided into 2 groups of 48 cases according to the Stochastic numerical table method. Both groups were treated with enteral nutrition. During the treatment, the control group was given routine care, and the observation group was given detailed nursing, and the two groups were compared.
Results:
The incidence of abdominal distension, constipation and diarrhea in the observation group was 4.17% (2/48) and 2.08% (1/48) lower than 16.67% (8/48) and 16.67% (8/48) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (

Objective To investigate the distribution of the thalassemia genotypes and the characteristics of blood cell parameters in Changshou District,Chongqing. Methods Totally 4126 samples sent to our hospital were studied from June 2018 to March 2023.All samples were detected for thalassemia genotype and blood cells. The parameters of blood cells:redblood cell(RBC),hemoglobin(Hb),mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH),mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC),red blood cell distribution width CV(RDW-CV),red blood cell distribution width SD(RDW-SD)were detected.Gap polymerase chain reaction(Gap-PCR)combined with reverse dot blot hybridization were used to detect alpha and beta thalassemia genotype. The rate and distribution characteristics of thalassemia gene in Changshou district were analyzed. Results Among 4126 samples,408 cases of α and β thalassemia were detected, accounting for 9.89%.Among these, there were 255 α-thalassemia cases.-α3.7/αα was the most common genotype. Two cases of--αSEA/-α3.7 and one cases of--SEA/HKαα were also detected. There were 153 cases of β-thalassemia and CD17 accounted for the highest proportion. The date of MCV,MCH,MCHC in-α3.7/αα,--SEA/αα,-α4.2/αα and ααCS/αα groups was significantly difference compared with control group(P<0.05).Parameters of MCV and MCH in CD17,CD41-42 and Ivs-2-654 groups were lower than those in control group(P<0.05),while RBC,RDW-CV and RDW-SD were higher than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion The most common genotype in thalassemia were-α3.7/αα,--SEA/αα,-α4.2/αα,CD17,CD41-42 and Ivs-2-654 in Changshou District,Chongqing. The parameters of MCV,MCHC,MCH,Hb,RBC,RDW-CV and RDW-SD have important clinical significance for the screening of thalassemia.
