Objective:To discuss the quality control method of injection pump and analyze the factors that affect the quality control of injection pump. Methods: Flow error and blocking alarm error were tested by the INFUTEST 2000E dual-channel infusion pump analyzer according to the national calibration specifications. Results: The syringe specifications, injection speed and injection solvent could influence the test for accuracy of injection pump. The lower injection speed set, the bigger flow test error was, while the smaller the blocking alarm test error was. On the other hand, the higher the injection speed set, the smaller the flow test error was and the bigger the blocking alarm test error was. Besides, the higher qualified rate of flow test was, the lower the qualified rate of blocking alarm test was. Conclusion: The quality control of injection pump should abide by the principle of controllable risk, and should not pursuit too much accuracy.

To master the performances of the cardiac defibrillator-monitor and enhance its reliability and effi-ciency through quality control. ESA612 electrical safety analyzer and Phase3 defibrillator analyzer were used to test the performances of 56 cardiac defibrillator-monitors, involving in basic items detection, electrical safety detection and performance detection. The qualified items included charging times, internal discharge, ECG monitoring and etc, while the unqualified ones included appearance, electrical safety as well as delay time under synchronous mode. The quality control can improve the safety of the cardiac defibrillator-monitor.

Objective To investigate the molecular expression and clinical significance of Vimentin and E-cadherin during epithelial-mesenchymal transformation of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues. Methods Hepatocellular carcinoma and paracancerous tissue were collected from 55 patients, while nonneoplastic nonnal liver tissue were collected from 20 patients without cancerous diseases as control group.Expressions of Vimentin and E-cadherin were examined by immunohistochemistry staining.Clinicopathological features of the relative expression of Vimentin and E-cadherin,and its influence on prognosis were discussed as well. Results Vimentin was positively expressed in 69.1% cancer tissue, and was significantly higher than paracancerous tissues and normal liver tissues(P < 0.05).E-cadherin was positively expressed in 27.3% cancer tissue and was significantly lower compared with paracancerous tissues and normal liver tissues(P <0.05).The expression of Vimentin and E-cadherin was negatively correlated(r =-0.653,P < 0.05).Vimentin expressions in subgroups of TNM stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,poor differentiation, multiple tumor nodules, metastasis and recurrence were all significantly higher than the respective subgroups as TNM stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ] (x2 =7.267,P < 0.05),moderate to well differentiation (x2 =4.045,P < 0.05),single tumor node (x2=12.143,P <0.05),without metastasis or recurrence (x2 =7.267,P < 0.05).On the contrary,Ecadherin showed higher expression in the subgroup of single tumor node compared with multiple tumor nodules(x2 =6.878,P < 0.05).The follow-up of patients further demonstrated that patients with positive Vimentin expression had a significantly lower disease-free survival compared with the Vimentin negative group (P <0.05).Conclusions Vimentin and E-cadherin both participated in epithelial-mesenchymal transition process of hepatocellular carcinoma.High expression of Vimentin and low expression of E-cadherin were closely correlated with occurrence and development of HCC.Vimentin and E-cadherin may serve as impottant biomarkers in clinical diagnosis and prognosis prediction of HCC.

Objective To analyze the constituent ratio and clinical characteristics of spine trauma and spinal cord injury of the survivors in the Sichuan earthquake.Methods198 cases wounded in the Sichuan earthquake were divided into four groups according to age for collecting the type of fracture, nerve damage, spinal fractures combined injuries of data from multiple sites, analyzing their clinical characteristics.ResultsFracture types are most common compression fractures (49.3%), followed by the burst fractures (45.9%). 105 of them had spinal cord injury, ASIA grade: A grade: 20 cases, B Grade: 18 cases, C grade: 25 cases, D Grade: 42 cases. 41 cases had combined injury. T12, L1, and L2 vertebral fractures were common types.ConclusionCompression fractures and burst fractures as spinal injuries occurred commonly in Sichuan earthquake mainly in the 18~65 years old, and spinal cord injury accounted for 53.03% spinal injury.

Objective To compare the theory of mind(TOM) abilities between autistic children's parents and the normal children' s,and to indirectly prove that TOM deficit in autism maybe related to heredity in cognitive neuropsychology. Methods This study examines TOM abilities in 32 autistic children' s parents and 32 normal children' s parents, using the computerized Yoni task and an extensive battery of neuropsychological tests. Results In contrast to findings in the control group, autistic children' s parents showed significantly lower scores in affective theory of mind( (23.06 ±5.12)vs(25.63 ±4.47),P<0.01 ) and special emotion( ( 10.13 ±4.14)vs ( 14.87 ±2.21 ),P<0.05),but not in cognitive theory of mind( (22.75 ±5.01 ) vs(22.56 ±5.63),P>0.05).Conclusion The autistic children' s parents are impaired in affective theory of mind, and to indirectly prove that autistic TOM deficit maybe related to heredity in cognitive neuropsychology.

Objective To evaluate the effect of long?time mechanical ventilation on early postoper?ative inflammatory responses in the hippocampi of mice. Methods Forty?eight healthy male C57BL∕6 mice, aged 8-10 weeks, weighing 20-25 g, were divided into 3 groups ( n=16 each) using a random number table: control group ( group C) , operation group ( group O) and long?time mechanical ventilation after operation group ( group MV) . Open reduction and internal fixation was performed after tibial fracture was induced in O and MV groups. Group O inhaled isoflurane for 6 h after operation. The mice were me?chanically ventilated for 6 h under isoflurane anesthesia in group MV. On 1 and 3 days after the end of ven?tilation, 8 mice were randomly selected, and contextual fear conditioning test was carried out to assess the cognitive function. The rate of time spent freezing was calculated. Then venous blood samples were collected and hippocampi removed for determination of the levels of interleukin?6 ( IL?6) , tumor necrosis factor?al?pha ( TNF?α) and IL?1β in plasma and hippocampal tissues by enzyme?linked immunosorbent assay. Re?sults Compared with group C, the rate of time spent freezing was significantly decreased, and the levels of IL?6, TNF?α and IL?1β in plasma and hippocampal tissues were significantly increased after the end of ventilation in group O ( P<0.01) . Compared with group O, the rate of time spent freezing was significantly decreased, and the levels of IL?6, TNF?α and IL?1β in plasma and hippocampal tissues were significantly increased after the end of ventilation in group MV ( P<0.01) . Conclusion The mechanism by which long?time mechanical ventilation leads to early postoperative cognitive dysfunction is related to induction of in?flammatory responses in the hippocampi of mice.
