OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational drug use in pediatric department. METHODS:The utilization of pe-diatric prescription drugs in inpatient department of our hospital during 2008 to 2014 was analyzed in respects of number,consump-tion sum,DDDs,etc. RESULTS:The consumption sum of antimicrobial drugs increased from 657 000 yuan in 2008 to 1 453 000 yuan in 2014. The consumption sum of creatine phosphate sodium increased from 384 000 yuan in 2012 to 889 000 yuan in 2014. The consumption sum of Lysine hydrochloride and sodium chloride injection entered the top 5 in 2014,reaching 205 000 yuan. The consumption sum of essential medicines changed greatly due to varieties. Top 5 antimicrobial drugs in the list of DDDs mainly wereβ-lactam,showing a descreasing trend on the whole. CONCLUSIONS:There are some problems in use of part drugs. It is need to strengthen propaganda and intervention of rational drug use.

Objective To investigate psychosocial factors for post-stroke depression (PSD). Methods 405 in-pa-tients with stroke were first screened for depression using Comprehensive International Diagnostic Interview-3.0. 22 pa-tients with depression were recruited as the depression group. From 383 patients without depression, 44 patients were se-lected and served as the non depression controlled group according to the sex and age paired with 1:2. Both groups were measured by using questionnaires including Life Event Scale, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, Social Support Rat-ing Scale, Activities of Daily Living Scale and Quality of Life Enjoyment and Satisfaction Questionnaire, Short Form. Re-sults The score of passive coping was significantly higher in depression group than in non depression group [(1.2 ± 0.5) vs. (0.8±0.7), P<0.05]. The score of subjective support was significantly lower in depression group than in non depression group [(17.5±4.0) vs. (20.7±4.6), P<0.05]. Logistic regression analysis showed, minority nationality (OR=2.564, 95%CI:1.039~6.327) and passive coping style (OR=2.223, 95%CI:1.052~5.192) were risk factors for PSD, while subjective sup-port was protective factor for PSD (OR=0.884, 95%CI:0.793~0.986). Conclusions Passive coping style and low subjec-tive support may be the important psychosocial factors of PSD.

Objective To study the changes of serum interleukin-8 (IL-8) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) in preterm infants delivered from mothers with chorioamnionitis (CA) and the possible effects on bronchopuhmonary dysplasia (BPD) and brain injury of preterm infants.Method From October 2014 to October 2015,clinical data from mothers without clinical manifestations of CA giving birth to a preterm baby (gestational age:26 to 33 weeks) were collected in Changzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Suzhou Municipal Hospital. The infants were assigned to CA group and non-CA group according to their mother's placenta pathology. The levels of serum IL-8 and IL-10 were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) on day 1 and day 7,while the levels of WBC,CRP and PCT were measured at birth. The incidences of BPD and brain injury were also reviewed.Result A total of 67 preterm infants were included, with 51 in the CA group and 16 non-CA group. The levels of IL-8 were significantly higher in the CA group than the non-CA group on both day 1 and day 7 [(21.6 ±9.7) ng/L vs.(7.3 ±2.3) ng/L,(26.6 ± 12.9) ng/L vs.(7.3 ± 2.1) ng/L].The IL-10 levels were significantly lower on day 1 [(1.92±0.17) ng/Lvs.(2.04±0.18) ng/L] and higher on day 7 [(2.42±0.60) ng/L vs.(2.03 ±0.18) ng/L] in the CA group.Significant differences existed on the incidences of BPD (54.9% vs.25.0%) and brain injury (74.5% vs.43.8%) between the two groups (P < 0.05).The levels of CRP and PCT were higher in CA group (P < 0.05) and the WBC was similar between the two groups (P > 0.05).In CA group,on both day 1 and day 7,infants with BPD had similar IL-8 and IL-10 levels comparing with infants without BPD(P > 0.05),also were infants with brain injury comparing with infants without brain injury. Conclusion Chorioamnionitis in pregnant women may affect serum cytokines levels in premature infants and lead to high incidences of BPD and brain injury.

Objective:To explore stigma and related factors among family members of patients with mental disorders in psychiatric hospitals. Methods:Totally 1 365 family members of inpatients with mental disorders were-surveyed,and were assessed with the Perceived Devaluation-Discrimination Scale and a self-made demographic characteristics questionnaire. Results:The screening rate of stigma among the patient's family members was 61.5%.Males(OR=2.26,95%CI:1.06-5.01),age group of 18-29 years(OR=1.91,95%CI:1.15-3.20),monthly income ≥500 yuan(P<0.05),disease duration of 0.5-<lyear(OR=3.14,95%CI:1.66-6.03),care for patients within<lyear(P<0.05),teachers(OR=2.32,95%CI:1.24-3.44),self-employed person(OR=1.63,95%CI:1.02-2.24),civil servants(OR=1.77,95%CI:1.09-2.45),schizophrenia(OR=1.87,95%CI:1.32-2.42),affective disorders(OR=1.52,95%CI:1.03-2.016)were the main riskfactors of stigma. Conclusions:Family members of patients with mental disorders generally have a severe stigma, especially of patients with schizophrenia and affective disorders.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by cognitive impairments with progressive loss of memory and behavioral disorder.Up to now, there is no effective therapy or drug to cure AD.Recent studies have shown p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of AD,while the extracellular domain of p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75ECD) has neuroprotective effect and can attenuate the development and progression of AD.Therefore,p75ECD is a research-hotspot for prevention and treatment of AD.Here, recent studies are reviewed to learn about the advances of p75ECD in the prevention and therapy of AD and provide references for getting novel methods and drugs to treat AD.
