Objective:To investigate the curative effects of Herba houttuyniae injection by spray inhalation and by intravenous drip on lower respiratory tract infection and compare effects.Methods:62 patients with lower respiratory tract infection were divided into the intravenous drip group, spray group 1 and 2 according to sequential trial. The intravenous drip group was treated with Herba houttuyniae injection by intravenous drip, once a day. The spray group 1 and 2 were treated with Herba houttuyniae injection by spray inhalation, once a day and three times a day, respechively. Results:The cure rate of the intravenous drip group was 48% and the total effective rate was 90.48%. The cure rates and total effective rates of the spray group 1 were 25% and 60%. The spray group 2 was 43% and 85.07%.Conclusion:The curative effects of Herba houttuyniae injection by intravenous drip and by spray inhalation (three a day ) on lower respiratory tract infection are similiar and better.

Objective Through adverse event reporting module in hospital nursing manage-ment system, research group screened out the fall incidence higher departments to explore the effect of workshop mode in tralning nurses' prevention of falls of hospitalized patients. Methods A tralning team was set up under the guidance of hospital nursing department, to determine the content of the project and implementation process. 176 registered nurses were received tralning of fall-prevention by workshop mode, compared the differences in fall prevention knowledge level of nurses before and after tralning. Likert's 5-points were used in the investigation for satisfaction of participants. Results Aver-age score of after tralning was (18.66 ±1.32). The previous increase was (2.42 ±2.06). The differences was statistically significant (P=0.000). The comprehensive evaluation of the tralning mode from the participants was over 92.00%, except for the tralner was 89.77%. Participants were satisfied with the workshop mode . Conclusion Application of workshop in tralning program can improve nurses' knowledge of fall-prevention and guarantee patient safety.

Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2017;32(3):1-5,10
Thiopurine S-methyltransferase (TPMT) is an important and key cytoplasmic enzyme in the metabolism of thiopurine drugs, whose activity can directly determine the amount of thiopurine drugs metabolized to cytotoxic 6-thioguanine nucleotides and consequently influence clinical efficacy and adverse drug reactions of thiopurine drugs. In order to deepen knowledge and role of genetic polymorphism of tpmt in the individualized thiopurine drug treatment, this present review mainly covered the following three frequently concerned aspects, including i) whether or not to determine the activity of TPMT priot to treatment of thiopurine drugs;ii) to genotype or to phenotype;iii) how to choose genotype methods.

Objective To explore the theory of curriculum contents for gerontological nurse practitioner training which is suitable for the situation of our country. Method Delphi technique was used in this research to build content indicators of gerontological nurse practitioner training curricu-lum, and calculate the variation coefficient. Results The theory training curriculum includes founda-tions of gerontological nursing, geriatric syndrome, facilitating physiological balance and general gero-tological care modules and 41 core indexs. Every coefficient of variation is less than 20 percent [(4.35±0.71), (4.63±0.57), (4.55±0.57), (4.67±0.55)]. The mean values of the importance (4.54± 0.622) and general characteristics are more than four. Conclusion The content setting of the geron-tological nurse practitioner training theory course not only highlights the training characteristics of the geriatric care, but also has comprehensive and systematic content, reflects humanistic care spirit and pays attention to developing nurses’clinical practice ability. Therefore, it is worthy of reference and promotion.

Objective:To investigate the application effect of virtual simulation combined with flipped classroom in experimental teaching of the nursing care of falls in the elderly. Methods:The 497 nursing undergraduates in the class of 2019 in Chongqing Medical University were selected as subjects and were then divided into control group (two classes with 251 students) and intervention group (two classes with 246 students). The students in the control group received traditional experimental teaching, and those in the intervention group received blended experimental teaching with virtual simulation combined with flipped classroom. At the end of the course, the use of virtual simulation platform was analyzed for the students in the intervention group, and a questionnaire survey and theoretical examination were used to compare the effect of experimental teaching between the two groups. SPSS 27.0 was used for the t-test and the chi-square test. Results:The frequency of use of the virtual simulation platform was (2.65±1.38) times per person in the intervention group, with an online learning time of 54.12-147.32 minutes. The questionnaire survey showed that compared with the control group, the intervention group had significantly higher scores of the achievement of teaching objectives and teaching satisfaction ( P<0.05). Compared with the control group after teaching, the intervention group had significantly higher scores of teaching promotion in terms of stimulating learning interest, cultivating self-learning ability, developing clinical thinking ability, improving innovation, and enhancing health education ability ( P<0.05). The intervention group had a significantly higher theoretical examination score than the control group [(79.38±5.09) vs. (77.88±4.97), P<0.05]. Conclusions:In the blended experimental teaching of the nursing care of falls in the elderly, virtual simulation combined with flipped classroom can help students master related knowledge and skills and cultivate their self-learning ability, clinical thinking ability, innovation ability, and health education ability.
