Objective:To explore the application value of video-electroencephalogram(VEEG) monitoring in the diagnosis and localization of children with epilepsy. Methods:The clinical data of 310 children with clinical epilepsy symptoms diagnosed and treated in Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital and Qilu Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University from May 2018 to April 2020 were analyzed. All children underwent routine EEG (REEG), VEEG monitoring, and positron emission computed tomography (PET-CT) for children undergoing surgery. REEG and VEEG was compared to monitor epileptic form discharges; the location of epileptic lesions was compared by different examination methods, and children were followed up after surgery. Results:Among the 310 children, 247 children were diagnosed with epilepsy and 63 children were suspected of epilepsy. The detection rate of VEEG epileptic form discharge was higher than that of REEG: 87.4% (216/247) vs. 45.7% (113/247), and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 6.3042, P<0.05). Among 247 children with epilepsy, during the VEEG test, 81 children (32.8%) had clinical symptoms, of whom 65 had seizures and 16 had non-epileptic seizures. The detection rate of VEEG for epilepsy was higher than that of clinical seizures: 87.5% (216/247) vs. 32.8% (81/247), and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 8.6148, P<0.05). Among the 247 children with epilepsy diagnosed, 144 children had epilepsy syndrome, temporal lobe epilepsy accounted for 54.17% (78/144), and frontal lobe epilepsy accounted for 34.2% (50/144). The accuracy of preoperative VEEG localization of epilepsy lesions in 50 children undergoing surgery was higher than that of PET-CT and REEG: 80.0% (40/50) vs. 56.0% (28/50), 54.0% (27/50), and the differences were statistical significance ( χ2 = 5.3014, 5.6031, P<0.05). Postoperative follow-up of 50 children who had underwent surgery showed that 50.0% (25/50) of the children had no seizures, and 38.0% (19/50) of the children had significant improvements in postoperative seizure time, seizure period, and clinical manifestations. 12.0% (6/50) of the children had no significant improvement in clinical symptoms. Conclusions:VEEG can improve the detection rate of epileptic form discharges, and provide an important basis for clinical diagnosis of epilepsy, and have important value in locating epilepsy lesions before surgery.

Enzymatic conversion is very important to produce functional rare sugars, but the conversion rate of single enzymes is generally low. To increase the conversion rate, a dual-enzyme coupled reaction system was developed. Dual-enzyme coupled reaction system was constructed using D-psicose-3-epimerase (DPE) and L-rhamnose isomerase (L-RhI), and used to convert D-fructose to D-psicose and D-allose. The ratio of DPE and L-RhI was 1:10 (W/W), and the concentration of DPE was 0.05 mg/mL. The optimum temperature was 60 degrees C and pH was 9.0. When the concentration of D-fructose was 2%, the reaction reached its equilibrium after 10 h, and the yield of D-psicose and D-allose was 5.12 and 2.04 g/L, respectively. Using the dual-enzymes coupled system developed in the current study, we could obtain sugar syrup containing functional rare sugar from fructose-rich raw material, such as high fructose corn syrup.

Objective To understand the dynamic rules of schistosomiasis endemic situation before and after reaching the criteria of schistosomiasis transmission controlled or transmission interrupted,so as to provide the evidence for improving schis-tosomiasis control. Methods Wuling District,Xihu District and Linli County were selected and investigated retrospectively to collect the schistosomiasis epidemiological information 10 years before they reached the criteria of transmission controlled and the subsequent years until 2008. A database of retrospective investigation was established for analyzing the trends and rules of changes of the Oncomelania hupensis snail status and infection status of cattle and human. Results In Wuling District, the en-demic situation was declining, and no schistosome infection persons, animals and snails were found after 1974. There was no re-bound until 2008. In Xihu District, the endemic situation reached the criteria of transmission controlled in 1997,and the endem-ic situation was stable. The human infection rate was positively correlated with the area of infection snails(r=0.584,P<0.05). In Linli County, there were no snails,no infected persons and cattle twice, but 2 endemic rebounds, and there were positive corre-lations between the densities of living snails and the infection rates of human and animal during the endemic rebound period. Conclusion The snail status is an important indicator of schistosomiasis endemic rebound. Therefore, the snail control is one of the most important schistosomiasis control measures.

OBJECTIVE To provide reference for the optimization of development policy of traditional Chinese medicine. METHODS ROSTCM text mining analysis software was adopted to screen the literature preliminarily ,the PMC policy index model was built ,and the results by PMC index and visual PMC surface were analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS A total of 33 policies related to traditional Chinese medicine were included ,and 10 primary variables and 46 secondary variables were set. The average PMC index of 33 policies was 6.15,of which 2 were excellent policies and the rest were good policies. Among the primary variables ,the scores of policy openness ,policy evaluation and policy field were relatively high ,while the scores of release time ,policy level and policy type were low. The analysis of sink index and secondary variables showed that the macro planning of national policies was not specific enough in terms of policy objectives and contents ,with low score ,while the local policies were usually planned in detail. Generally speaking ,there is still much room for improvement in the policies related to the development of traditional Chinese medicine in terms of policy system construction ,government investment ,talent construction , financing supporting policies ,market access rules ,responsible subjects and legal guarantee.

Seed quality plays an important role in the agricultural and animal husbandry production, the effective utilization of genetic resources, the conservation of biodiversity and the restoration and reconstruction of plant communities. Seed aging is a common physiological phenomenon during storage. It is a natural irreversible process that occurs and develops along with the extension of seed storage time. It is not only related to the growth, yield and quality of seed and seedling establishment, but also has an important effect on the conservation, utilization and development of plant germplasm resources. The physiological mechanisms of seed aging are complex and diverse. Most studies focus on conventional physiological characterization, while systematic and comprehensive in-depth studies are lacking. Here we review the recent advances in understanding the physiology of seed aging process, including the methods of seed aging, the effect of aging on seed germination, and the physiological and molecular mechanisms of seed aging. The change of multiple physiological parameters, including seed vigor, electrical conductivity, malondialdehyde content and storage material in the seed, antioxidant enzyme activity and mitochondrial structure, were summarized. Moreover, insights into the mechanism of seed aging from the aspects of transcriptome, proteome and aging related gene function were summarized. This study may facilitate the research of seed biology and the conservation and utilization of germplasm resources.
