According to the traditional point of view,CT and lumabar puncture are the main means in the diagnosis of subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).The values of conventional MRI T1-weighted imaging(T1WI)and T2 weighted imaging(T2WI)are very little in the diagnosis of SAH.With the development of MRI technique and the research and application of novel MRI sequences, the value of MRI are gradually recognized and affirmed in the diagnosis of SAH.and has shown its superiority.MRI isn't inferior to CT in the diagnosis of acute SAH.evidently superior to CT in the diagnosis of subacute, chronic and atypical SAHs and superior to CT in the diagnosis of the complications of SAH.MRI is valuable in screening for intraeranial aneurysms and postoperative follow-up.

AIM: To establish a method of fingerprint analysis on Cacumen Platycladi. METHODS: HPLC was adopted with ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-C18,acetonitrile-0. 1% H3PO4 solution (gradient alution) as a mobile phase and detection wavelength at 254 nm,flow rate was 1 mL/min,and colum temperature was at 40 ℃. RESULTS: Eleven common peaks were separated from 14 batches of Cacumen Platycladi. As compared with standard sample, quecitroside and quecitin were checked out. CONCLUSION: The method is reliable, accurate and can be used as a quality control method for Cacumen Platycladi.

Objective To evaluate development of gastro-esophageal reflux (GER) during laparoscopic surgery in lateral jack-knife position under general anesthesia through comparing with reverse Trendelenburg/ Trendelenburg position in the patients lying supine. Methods Ninety patients of both sexes, aged 18-64 yr,of ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ,with body mass index of 18-30 kg/m2,scheduled for elective laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia, were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =30 each):lateral jack-knife position group (group L),Trendelenburg position group (group T) and reverse Trendelenburg position group (group Tre).Anesthesia was induced with midazolam, sufentanil, propofol and cisatracurium besylate and maintained with propofol and remifentanil given by target-controlled infusion.A pH-sensitive probe was inserted through nose into the lower esophagus and pH value was continuously recorded until 1 min after extubation.GER was defined as pH value ≤ 4 lasting for ≥ 1 min in the lower esophagus during surgery. The development of GER during surgery and the lowest pH value in the lower esophagus when GER developed were recorded. Results Compared with group Tre,the incidence of GER (27%) and total number of times GER had occurred were significantly increased in group L,and no significant changes were found in the indices mentioned above in L and T groups. When GER developed, the lowest pH value in the lower esophagus was 2.1 ± 1.3,2.6 ± 1.2 and 3.5 in L,T and Tre groups, respectively. Conclusion The incidence of GER is 27 % during laparoscopic surgery when the patients are in lateral jack-knife position and it is higher than that obtained with reverse Trendelenburg position in the patients lying supine.

Oxidative stress is 811 important risk factor for premature athcrosclcrosis.Itis involved in a variety of pathophysiological processes, including mitochondrial damage, freeradical release, lipid peroxidation, phospholipase activation, and infl~niatory modiator release.A growing body of research suggests that oxidative stress, oxidized low density hpoprotein,andlipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 Play important roles in the occurrence and developmentof athcrosclcrosis. Therefore, investigating their relationship contributes to deepen theunderstanding of athcrosclerosis and take appropriate preventive measures.

Objective To study the effects of genistein(GST) on the expression of estrogen receptor ?(ER?) and the expression of c-fos gene in the aorta of ovariectomized rats. Methods Forty female Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:sham-operated(control),ovariectomized(OVX),ovariectomized with 17?-E2 replacement(OVX+E2),ovariectomized with genistein replacement(OVX+GST) group. After 8 weeks' replacement therapy, the rats were sacrificed and the expression of ER? and c-fos in the aorta was studied by immunohistochemistry. Results Ovariectomy significantly decreased ER ? expression and increased c-fos expression in aorta;while replacement therapy,GST and E2,attenuated the effect of ovariectomy manifested by increasing ER expression and decreasing c-fos expression in aorta. Conclusion GST may modulate the expression of ER? in the arteries of ovariectomized rats and play a beneficial effects on cardiovascular system which was associated with decreases in expression of c-fos gene in aorta.
