Objective To investigate the application effect of the puncture method of indwelling needle by single hand in clinical attendance of pediatrics. Methods From March 2015 to September 2015,578 patients in our pediatrics were randomly and equally divided into two groups. The experiment group were treated with the puncture method of indwelling needle by single hand and the control group received traditional puncturing method. Results There were statistical significances in the success rate of first puncture,degree of comfort,sense of pain,dropping of the indwelling needle,phlebitis,exosmosis of drugs and indwelling time of patients between the two groups(P< 0.05). Conclusion In the process of using indwelling needle in pediatrics,the application of the puncture method of indwelling needle by single hand could improve the success rate of first puncture of venous retention needle,enhance the comfort degree of neonates,relieve the sense of pain,reduce the dropping of the indwelling needle,incidence of phlebitis and exosmosis of drugs,and prolong the indwelling time. The operation of this puncture is simple and easy to do and to learn,without any special equipment. In the venous puncture,the only necessities are 24G retention needle,3M indwelling needle and adhesive tape. Obviously,it is economical and practical,and is suitable for application in clinic.

Objective To investigate the application effect of indwelling needle puncture in the axillary vein of newborn infants.Methods From September 2015 to February 2016,the venous indwelling needle puncture was given for neonatal transfusion 180 cases,including 90 cases of the axillary vein indwelling needle infusion in the experimental group,and 90 cases of puncture of extremity vein infusion in the control group.The application effect of the 2 groups was compared.Results There were significant differences in terms of indwelling needle shedding,phlebitis,drug extravasation,lien time between the experimental group and the control group (P ＜ 0.05) Conclusions During neonatal indwelling needle puncture infusion process,the axillary vein indwelling needle infusion can prevent the indwelling needle shedding,decrease the incidence of phlebitis and reduce the incidence of drug extravasation,and can prolong the indwelling time.Puncture in the simple operation easy,is easy to learn and no need for special facilities and equipment,only conventional intravenous infusion required material,plus 24g indwelling needle,aseptic transparent dressing,paper tape,economical and practical,suitable for application in neonatal ward.

OBJECTIVE: To establish an HPLC method for the determination of diprophylline in diprophylline tablets. METHODS: The analytical column was C18 and the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (30∶ 70) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was 273 nm and the sample size was 20 ?L. RESULTS: The linear range of diprophylline was 8.1～81 ?g?mL-1 (r=0.999 8) with an average recovery rate of 100.01% (RSD=0.21%). CONCLUSION: The method is simple, accurate and precise, and it can be used for the quality control of diprophylline tablets.

BACKGROUND:In recent years, with the development of China Marrow Donor Program and the improvement of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing technique, novel aleles of human leukocyte antigen have been discovered constantly in China. OBJECTIVE:To identify and confirm a novel HLA alele in a Chinese individual. METHODS: A new HLA alele was found during routine human leukocyte antigen genotyping by PCR-sequence specific oligonucleotide probes and sequencing-based typing. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The HLA-B locus hybridization probe reaction patterns of this sample did not match with any known HLA-B aleles or alelic combinations. Exons 2, 3 were sequenced in both directions using HLA-B sequence primer and group-specific sequencing primer. The obtained sequence had 2nts change from B*07:02:01 at nt 226 and nt 228 where A->G (codon 76 ATA->GTG) and resulting in a coding change, 76 isoleucine (I) was changed to valine (V). This nucleotide sequence has been submitted to the GenBank nucleotide sequence database and it is available under the accession number HM989017. A novel HLA alele, HLA-B*07:110, was identified, and was named officialy by the WHO Nomenclature Committee.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of puerarin,berberine hydrochloride and ba-icalin in Erxieting syrup. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Kromasil-C18 with mobile phase of methanol-0.2%Phosphoric acid solution (gradient elution) at flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,column temperature was 30 ℃,detection wavelength was 275 nm,and the volume injection was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear was 10.43-83.44 μg/ml for puerarin,10.71-85.68 μg/ml for ber-berine hydrochloride and 12.58-100.64 μg/ml for baicalin(r≥0.999 3);RSDs of precision,stability and reproduciblity tests were lower than 2%;recoveries were 98.25%-100.87%(RSD=0.92%,n=6),99.41%-101.40%(RSD=0.68%,n=6)and 98.13%-99.76%(RSD=0.57%,n=6),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,reliable,can be used for the quality control of Erxiet-ing syrup.

Objective To investigate the pressing time and puncture site bleeding after extubation of superficial venous catheter in elderly patients.Methods Four hundred elderly inpatients were selected from respiratory department during June 2015 and December 2015 and were divided into two groups:200 patients as experimental group with pressing time of 5-6 minutes and 200 patients as control group with pressing time of 3-4 minutes.The same group of nurses pressed the puncture site after extubation and changes on skin and vessels were observed,which was to find out the optimal pressing time after extubation of superficial venous catheter in elderly patients.Results The presence of bleeding,bruising,success rate of the second puncture,swelling,pain and degree of comfort were compared between two groups and significant differences were found (P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with those in control group,less bleeding,bruising,swelling,and pain,higher success rate of the second puncture and lower degree of comfort were found in experimental group.

Objective To know the influencing factors of nursing associations of different provinces and cities undertaking transferred government functions,and to explore the new direction of nursing management system reform based on the association platform.Method 10 experts from 9 provinces and cities were interviewed,and statistics was analyzed by three-level coding combining with QSR NVivo10.0 software.Result 3 themes were collected (internal factors,external support factors and others,such as an independent legal status,financial support,etc).Conclusion Nursing associations,as participants of medical organization and hospital management,must make their own capabilities clear,continuously strengthen their own ability in order to provide better service,and promote the development of medical and health career.

Factors that may influence vitamin D nutritional status include latitude,season,age,sex,race,skin color,clothing,cultural practices,dietary nutrition,and living conditions.This article reviews the effects of these factors on vitamin D status and recommends that any high-risk people of vitamin D deficiency should take vitamin D supplementation.
