Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
As the people's life quality improved, more and more attention has been paid to indoor air pollution. The SBS (sick building syndrome) resulting from indoor air pollution has become an unavoidable problem in the modern life. Indoor air pollution has been listed as one of the five most dangerous environmental factors to human health. The present paper mainly analysed the prominent indoor air pollutants such as formaldehyde, radon, ammonia, nitrogen oxides and VOCs, which affect indoor air quality, and also pointed out the research direction and the high lights in this field in future.

Objective To observe the effects of total flavones from Herba Epimedii(TFHE)on the experimental myocardial ischemia and hemorheology of animals. Methods The model of acute myocardial ischemia of rats was established with pituitrin and the model of acute blood stasis was established with high-molecular dextran. The effects of TFHE on the electrocardiogram J-point of acute myocardial ischemia model and the hemorheology of acute blood stasis model were observed.Besides these, the effects of TFHE on coaglutaion time in mice were observed. Results As compared with the model groups,high-,middle-,and low-dosage groups(24,12,and 6 mg/kg)of TFHE could obviously improve the abnormal electrocardiogram J-point of acute myocardial ischemia model, also could effectively prevent the ascending of whole blood viscosity(high-,middle-,and low-shear rate),packed erythrocyte volume, and fibrinogen.High-and low-dosage groups(34 and 17 mg/kg)of TFHE could obviously lengthen the coaglutaion time in mice. Conclusion The results suggest that TFHE possesses protective effects on ischemic myocardium, which may better hemorheology, decrease the whole blood viscosity, prevent blood from coagulating and improve the circulatation of coronary artery.

Objective To optimize the technological parameters of separation and purification of vinblastine and vincristine from Gatharanthus Roseus. Methods Different types of macroporous adsorption resin were used to separate and purify vinblastine and vincristine from Gatharanthus Roseus, eluting with different concentration of alcohol aqueous and velocities, combined with silica gel column chromatography, the process was monitored by HPLC. Results AB-8 type resin showed better comprehensive adsorption property, 90% alcohol aqueous and 1.5 BV/h velocities were used to elute. Ratio adsorption quantity was achieved to 74.5 mg/g. Through silica gel column chromatography, the purity of vincristine was achieved to 97.26% and the purity of vinblastine was achieved to 94.18%. Conclusions The process is simple and reasonable with good reproducibility. It is effective to enrich highly purified vinblastine and vincristine.
7.Evaluation of nasal continuous positive airway pressure on prethrombotic state in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(13):-
Objective To estimate the effects of nasal continuous positive airway pressure(nCPAP)therapy on patients with OSAS in prethrombotic state. Methods One group of 30 patients with OSAS who were diagnosed from Sep.2003 to Sep.2005,one healthy control group of 30 cases.Blood samples were taken from people in the supine position in the morning immediately after overnight polysomnography and nCPAP theraphy(only in OSAS group). Results Compared with the normal controls, the level of the molecular marker GMP-140 increased in the blood of patients with OSAS,the levels of APTT,AT-Ⅲ decreased, and the level of t-PA decreased as well. The level of PAI increased.Compared with the healthy controls, datum indicated statistical differences between the two groups.Datum of the patients with OSAS were improved after nCPAP therapy:AHI decreased from 63.21?23.23 to 0.56?0.84;the nocturnal lowest of SaO_2 increased from 0.68?0.07 to 0.90?0.02;GMP-140 and PAI decreased to (17.07?7.97)% and (95.83?5.91)% respectively;AT-Ⅲ and t-PA increased to(95.20?6.67)% and (5.45?1.61)?g respectively. Conclusion Prethrombotic state is present in patients with OSAS.nCPAP therapy can decrease OSAS-related thrombotic complications.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2011;10(7):472-475
Objective To investigate effects of hormone replacement therapy with conjugated equine estrogen (CEE) in different doses combined with medroxyprogesterone acetate ( MPA) on mammographic density among postmenopausal women and its clinical significance. Methods Ninety eligible postmenopausal women were randomized into three groups with varied treatment continuously for one year, Croup A receiving 0.3 mg CEE with 2 mg MPA and caltrate 600 mg and vitamin D 125 U daily; Group B receiving 0. 625 mg CEE combined with 2 mg MPA and caltrate 600 mg with vitamin D 125 U daily; and Group C receiving caltrate 600 mg and vitamin D 125 U daily. Mammographic density was analyzed using Wolfe and semi-quantitative methods for all of them and compared each other one year after treatment, as well as mammographic density before and after treatment in Groups A and B. Results One year after treatment, mammogrphic density reached the highest in postmenopausal woman of Group B and the lowest in those of Group C, with significant difference among the three groups (P < 0. 01) and between Groups A and C (P < 0. 01) and between Groups B and C ( P < 0. 05 ). Mammogrphic density with semi-quantitative method increased significantly in Group A ( P < 0. 05 ) and Group B ( P < 0. 01 ), respectively, after treatment as compared with that before it. Change in mammografic density before and after treatment was greater in Group B than that in Group A, but not reaching statistically significant level (P > 0. 05). Conclusions Hormone replacement therapy can cause the increase of mammographic density in postmenopausal women, possibly in a dose-dependent pattern, which suggest that HRT has side effect on breast tissue and the lowest effective dose of estrogen should be selected in HRT. Mammographic density can be used as an indicator to monitor side effect of HRT on breast.
