OBJECTIVE:To investigate observation of three metronidazol combined with drug for vaginal local application on trichomnas vaginitis. METHODS:195 patients with trichomonas vaginitis were randomly divided into three groups. They were treated with drug for vaginal local application plus single dose or multiple dose of metronidazol(p.o) ,respectively. Then their curative effects were compared. RESULTS:In single large dose of metronidazol group remission rate,cure rate and total effective rate were higher than in multiple low dose group in the first and the second day. Significant difference was noted between the two groups(P0.05) . CONCLUSION:The curative effect of single large dose of metronidazol was better than the multiple low dose. The therapeutic effect of single dose of metronidazol(1.6 g) is similar to single dose(2.0 g) .

An investigation on the consumer and manufacturer of home medical device as well as doctors is carried out with an aim to analyze the current situation of home medical device in Beijing.Based on the method of market research,this issue is approached from such four aspects as popularity,demand,purchase,and usage respectively.The results reveal the distribution of different types of home medical devices and distinctive features represented in the process of purchasing among different age groups.Finally,some suggestions and speculation about the future development of home medical device in this area are proposed.

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect and possible mechanisms of Xuebijing injection for treatment of acute pulmonary thromboembolism(APE)in rabbits. Methods Twenty-four New Zealand rabbits with big ears were randomly divided into control group,model group and Xuebijing group(each n=8). The model of APE was performed by re-infusing of autologous blood clots. After the model was established,in the rabbits of the Xuebijing group,Xuebijing injection 1 mL/kg was injected into the ear marginal vein,twice daily for consecutive 7 days. In the model and control groups,the same amount of normal saline was given via the same route. The changes in plasma levels of B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) at the time points of 8 hours and 1,3,5,7 days,and after 7 days the lungs of the rabbits were removed for the lung histopathological examination. Results The BNP levels of the model group and Xuebijing group were significantly higher compared with the level of control group at 8 hours after embolization,the model group being the most significant(all P<0.05). On day 3,the BNP levels of the model group and Xuebijing group reached their peaks,and then gradually decreased,but the level of model group was significantly higher than that of Xuebijing group(ng/L:581.1±144.6 vs. 251.5±22.5,P<0.05). On day 7,the BNP level of Xuebijing group fell to the level of the control group(ng/L:78.5±9.4 vs. 50.9±11.5),the level of the model group also decreased,but it was still much higher than that of the Xuebijing group(ng/L:214.1±47.6 vs. 78.5±9.4,P<0.05). Histopathological examination showed Xuebijing could significantly reduce the infarct size with mild inflammatory cell infiltration,but the infarct size of the model group was obviously bigger than that of the Xuebijing group and accompanied by relatively more inflammatory cell infiltration. Conclusion Xuebijing injection can significantly reduce the plasma BNP level of the rabbits with pulmonary embolism,and in the mean time ameliorate the degree of inflammatory infiltration in the lung tissue and infarct.

Objective Surgical treatment of lung cancer needs to follow strict quality control standard for the aims of accuracy of pathological staging and potentially improved prognosis.However,there are short of studies related to surgical quality analysis.Methods One hundred and twelve patients were enlisted with the diagnosis of lung cancer and received surgical intervention in 2007.Surgical quality of these cases were retrospectively analyzed in compliance with three international standards,National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN),American College of Surgeons’ Oncology Group (ACOSOG),and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).Results No surgical death was reported in this group.According to NCCN,ACOSOG and IASLC standards,qualified operations were 82 cases (80.4％),73 cases (71.6％),45 cases (44.1％) in 102 cases with R0 resection,respectively.The median total lymph nodes,median mediastinal nodes,and N1 nodes were 27 (range 0-63),16.5 (range 0-43),and 10.5 (range 0-26),respectively.The median mediastinal node stations resected were 4 (range 0-6).In the mediastinum,stations of 4R,5,6 and 7 presented the highest frequency of receiving lymph node dissection.For N1 stations,10 and 12 were among the top list.For the whole group,1-year survival,3-year survival and 4-year survival were 92％ (95％ CI,89-95),67％ (95％ CI,62-72),57％ (95％ CI,52-62),respectively.Conclusion Quality control is the essential part of surgical treatment of lung cancer,which will facilitate the baseline standardization of clinical research.Since IASLC provides the strictest standard for lung cancer surgery,we suggest that all thoracic surgeons need to follow this standard to secure the accuracy of pathological diagnosis and for a potential better prognosis.

Objective To investigate the causes of complications induced by peripherally inserted central catheters(PICC)in cancer patients and summarize pertinent nursing measures.Method The clinical data of 26 tumor patients with PICC were analyzed retrospectively .Result The complications occurred in 8 patients with a rate of 30.8%, among which unsuccessful catheteration occurred in 1 case,oozing of blood at the mouth of catheter in 1 case,phlebitis in 1 case,dislocation in 1 case,skin allergy-like reactions in 2 cases and catheter emersion in 1 case,catheter breaking in 1 case and dislocation in 2 cases.Conclusion The skilled operation,preventive maintenance of catheters and health education to the patients are the important measures for prevention and reduction of the complications.

Objective To investigate the effects of α-lipoic acid on mitochondrial energy metabolism of liver in the rat with obstructive jaundice. Methods Seventy-two male SD rats were randomly divided into groups of sham operation and bile duct-ligation + normal soldium( BDL + NS) and bileduct-ligation + α-lipoic acid( BDL + LA). Malondialdehyde(MDA) , superoxide dismutase(SOD) and ATP, ADP, AMP in rat liver's mitochondrion were examined on days 7,14,21 after operation. Results MDA contents, ADP contents and AMP contents of liver' s mitochondrion were significantly increased at each time point in BDL + NS-group,while SOD contents and ATP contents of liver' s mitochondrion decreased remarkably on the 7th, 14th days; MDA content of liver' s mitochondrion in BDL + LA group was more lower than that in BDL + NS group (P ＜ 0. 01 )on the 21st day; MDA content was further increased in BDL + NS group and in BDL + LA group but there was no difference in their comparisons. On the 7th, 14th days, SOD contents and ATP contents in BDL + LA group were significantly higher than that in BDL + NS group( 7th days,P ＜ 0. 01; 14th days,P ＜ 0.05 ), On the 21 st day SOD contents in BDL + NS group had no difference with that in BDL + LA group (P ＞ 0. 05). Purpose To investigate the prognostic significance of NQO1 protein expression in colorectal carcinoma ( CRC) patients. Methods 192 cases of primary CRC, 28 of colonic dysplasia, and 44 of adjacent non-tumor tissues were selected for immunohisto-chemical staining of NQO1 protein. Correlation between NQO1 overexpression and clinicopathologic characteristics, and the survival rates were calculated by the statistical methods. Results The strongly positive rate of NQO1 protein in CRC was significantly higher than that in gastric dysplasia and adjacent non-tumor tissues (P<0. 01, respectively). NQO1 high-expression rate was positively cor-related with differentiation, serosal invasion, lymph node metastasis, and clinical stage (P <0. 05, respectively). Survival curve showed that the disease-free survival and 5-year survival rates of the patients with high NQO1 expression were obviously shorter than those of patients with low NQO1 expression (P<0. 001, respectively). Further analysis showed that, high expression of NQO1 predic-ted the lower disease-free survival and 5-year survival rates in late-stage patients (P<0. 01, respectively). Importantly, NQO1 was an independent risk factor for the prognosis of CRC using Cox proportional hazards regression model ( HR: 1. 398,95%CI: 1. 011 ~1. 934, P=0. 043). Conclusions Detection of NQO1 protein expression in CRC has an important clinical significance, and it is ex-pected to become a new biomarker for CRC.
