2.The similarities and differences between the treatments with traditional Thai medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for Bi syndrome
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;37(12):1065-1068
The author got an opportunity to know about the Thai traditional medicine, especially its application and efficacy in treatment of Bi syndrome via the communication with Thai healers in the duration of teaching and working in Chandrakasem Rajabhat University due to an invitation. This paper will simply discuss the similarities and differences between the treatments with traditional Thai medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for Bi syndrome in terms of their theory systems, the understanding of Bi syndrome, as well as the characteristics of therapies. And I hope this paper will provide certain help in the academic exchanges between these two traditional medicines.
3.Research progress of relationship between microRNA and glioma
Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(12):852-855
MicroRNA (miRNA),an abundant class of small non-coding RNA,are abundant in the central nervous system where they play important roles in the neuronal development and plasticity. Moreover, the relationship between miRNA dysfunction and neurological diseases become more and more apparent.Recent studies show that the misregulated expression of miRNA out of control is closely related to the development of glioma. In this review we discussed the progress on the study of miRNA in Glioma.
4.MicroRNAs: novel crossroads of multiple myeloma treatment
Journal of Chinese Physician 2016;18(7):1118-1120
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a hematologic malignancy of differentiated plasma cells that accumulate in the bone marrow, where a complex microenvironment made by different cell types supports proliferation, survival, and drug resistance of tumor cells.MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression at post-transcriptional level.Emerging evidence indicates that miRNAs are aberrantly expressed or functionally deregulated in MM cells as the result of multiple genetic or epigenetic mechanisms and that also the tumor microenvironment regulates MM cell functions by miRNAs.Consistently, modulation of miRNA levels in MM cells has been demonstrated to impair their functional interaction with the bone marrow microenvironment and to produce significant antitumor activity to overcome the protective bone marrowmilieu. This review will describe the most recent findings on miRNA function in the context of MM bone marrow microenvironment, focusing on the therapeutic potential of miRNA-based approaches.
6.Vegetarian diets and cardiovascular health: evidence-based and pondering.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(6):653-655
The correlation between vegetarian diets and cardiovascular health is always one of the hotspots. Many scholars have performed so many clinical researches all over the world, providing evidence-based medicine (EBM) reference for clarifying their correlation. In this paper, we raise ideas and expectation on the basis of a Meta-analysis about vegetarian diets and blood pressure (published on JAMA Internal Medicine in Feb 2014) in combination of main clinical research literature in this field in recent 20 years.

7.Characteristics of motor neuron differentiation from stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(49):9739-9742
Studies have shown that embryonic stem cells and neural stem ceils could be induced to differentiate into motor neurons by adding inducing factors to the culture to improve differentiation proportion of motor neurons. The development and maturation process of motor neurons in vitro culture is similar to that in embryo, involving participation of Pax6, Nk×6.1, Olig2 and HB9. Moreover, cells with HB9 as separation mark almost differentiate into motor neurons in vitro. In addition, other types of protein marks have been used for identification of motor neuronal induced differentiation, such as neuron mark MAP-2, β-tubulin-Ⅲ, cholinergic cell mark ChAT, VAChT, Schwann cell mitogen REG2, and voltage-dependent calcium ion channel 11.2 subunit. The identification of induced differentiation of motor neurons also involves detection of function of differentiated motor neurons by two methods. One method is to detect the function of in vitro cultured motor neurons, and the other is to detect the function of transplanted motor neurons in vivo. Although induced differentiation of stem cells into motor neurons becomes mature, many issues remain in clinical application, such as cell sources of induced differentiation of motor neuron, efficiency of induced differentiation, purification of differentiated motor neurons, and function of motor neurons.
8.Moral judgment and its relationship with theory of mind in patients with autism spectrum disorder
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2017;31(5):366-370
This article reviews the moral judgment ability of patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD),as well as the relationship with theory of mind (TOM).The study found that patients with ASD could undertake basic moral judgment, but could not provide the corresponding judgment reason, and were easy to make utilitarianism judgment. In addition, individual's moral judgment ability was positively correlated with TOM,while there were defects in TOM among the patients with ASD,which could lead to the skew results of moral judgment.
9.Mammography qualifying diagnosis analysis of atypical solitary breast nodules
Journal of Practical Radiology 2017;33(2):218-220,225
Objective To investigate the qualitative diagnostic features of less than 2 cm atypical solitary breast nodules. Methods 52 patients diagnosed with atypical solitary breast nodules as well as the mammography and clinical characteristics were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among those 52 cases of nodular lesions, there were 23 benign nodules and 29 malignant nodules.Among these 29 malignant cases,26 cases were misdiagnosed as benign lesions, the X-ray of which showed the margin of nodules were mostly smooth, the density relatively homogenic yet with no sign of lobulation.Meanwhile,19 cases were diagnosed as malignant lesions, the X-ray of which showed irregular nodules, uneven density with or without multiple calcification, their margin lobulated, ragged, and ambient structure irregularity. In some case their local skin thickened and subcutaneous axungia were turbid. There were 7 cases unable to make timely diagnosis, the X-ray of which showed more or less regular form, uneven or almost even density, ambient structure barely regular, lack typical features. Conclusion To make accurate diagnosis,it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the pathology X-ray of different lesions, the atypical manifestation, plus comprehensive and detailed analysis, combing ultrasound and clinical palpation,MRI,biopsy and follow-ups when needed.
10.Impact of inflammatory response on neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(10):797-800
Nerve stem cells have the potential of self-repair and multi-differentiation.They participate in brain tissue repair after ischemic stroke. The inflammatory factors have multiple functions and can change the microenvironment of brain tissue. This article reviews the recent progress in research on the inflammation after ischemic stroke and neurogenesis, mainly focusing on the impact of inflammatory factors on stem cell survival and neurogenesis.
